I bought this item & then scanned all my mothers album photos, added some of my own & my siblings and gave it to her as birthday gift., shes 82 years young. She loved it, sat for hours reminiscing about what each photo was about. At 82 she has found it easy to use & is happy with the time each photo is show before changing. The ability to change the time of the photos is a great feature. I would recommend this gift for its simplicity to use, either with a USB stick, SD card or by transfer straight from the computer to the photo frame via the cord provided. Its a great gift for any age but particularly for the elderly to help with their memory.

This unit does all I wanted and more. Will put on a slideshow from individual folders. Will also play a random or sequence slideshow from all folders. Crystal clear display. Very happy with my purchase.

I love this frame, the only thing that could make me like it more would be a pretty wooden surround. The value for money is excellent, it is huge screen with excellent full HD 1980 x 800 resolution, and an easy to use remote. I love that I can set hours to run it - so my Mum in aged care doesn't accidentally leave it on overnight and disturb other residents. She can easily view here photos and videos from near anywhere in her room (the screen has virtually no directional issues), and it can also be a clock with the bonus that she can listen to her music as well. We specifically needed a frame that did not rely on WiFi to store and update pictures, nor in these times of Covid and border closures could it be fussy to set up and run and this is perfect. I ended up editing photos so they all fitted well on the screen with a black background.- Useless at video (tried several resolutions - nothing would play smoothly)- Very limited options for changing how things are displayed (e.g. will only show photos, or will only show video - no way to show a selection of both or will just randomise photos from all folders, not just the folder you have chosen).- Has things like transitions, but they are jerky and don't ... If you want to do more than this, I wouldn't recommend this product.
Purchased two frames to replace two other frames that lasted 9 years of constant use displaying family photos. So far the Qpix frames havent missed a beat displaying photos, mostly jpeg using 16 & 32GB USBs. I dont use any of the other features such as the clock / calendar, music etc so cannot comment on these aspects of the frame.
This was a gift for my elderly mother. She absolutely loves it! It's great how you can set it all up to turn on and off at the preset time each day and if she prefers she can turn it off and on with the remote and the settings are still there when she turns it back on. You can select how long each photo displays and there are different settings with how you'd like photos to change from one to another. I gave 4 stars because it doesn't seem to work well from a USB. You can see the photos from the USB but the photos stop when it comes to the end. It only then works again if you remove the USB and plug it in again. But if you download your photos straight onto the digital frame from your computer with the enclosed lead, it works fine and so this doesn't bother me ... MoreThis was a gift for my elderly mother. I replaced my previous photo frame with the Qpix 15.6 frame. The difference in picture quality is stunning. Very well backlit, great to view of axis, and responsive to the remote control. I have only been using the frame for a few hours, but so far am blown away. The only problem is I am so easily distracted by looking at the photos being presented. I recommend this for sure.
Great picture size. Takes a bit of mucking around getting the right ratio for best picture. Some pictures just don't work. Most are fine with some editing. Sometimes slow loading photos with glitches evident but most are loading fine. Some features like the on off timer only work sometimes and sounds/video are not that good. Ok for photos. Over all good quality.
This product is not very good. It turns off after a few minutes or stops and displays a message saying media out then media in over and over. Was so disappointed. I thought buying it from the good guys it would work great. But unfortunately not.
Should be Zero Stars. My photos display with weak washed out colours and often grainy, whereas they look great on all my other devices. Probably this thing is using an old outdated redundant LCD display and graphics processor. An embarrassment. Pure junk. It's in this week's garbage.
