At best they're constructed of a low quality ferritic stainless steel. Certainly not up to the vendor's over-hyped claims - "Upgraded extreme marine grade stainless steel for a no rust, no tarnish premium finish." Mine's had water in it for 4 days and already the handle rivets and bucket seam edges are rusty. And "heavy duty" is equally laughable and misleading.

Ordered a stainless steel bucket so that it wouldnt rust. The bucket is made of stainless steel but the rivets that hold the handle brackets on are not and have rusted and stained the bucket. Also have only been using the bucket for about 2 weeks and its started leaking already.

I purchased this bucket a few weeks ago to replace a galvanised bucket that had rusted on the bottom. I wanted a bucket that had a strong handle (and not break like the plastic ones) while carrying water. This bucket is great!! It is not too heavy when filled with water, easy to wipe clean and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

A no-rust finish is marketed for this product and assumed as such for stainless steel. The handle plate rivets rusted out in less than 48 hours.
The buckets are not heavy duty like described. The steel bends very easy and is very light.
It may be shiny, but it's not stainless steel. Certainly not heavy duty and not too sure about sealing with the goop around the inside bottom very wet and sticky.
I purchased this as an outdoor water bucket for my dog that he wouldn't be able to destroy. Unfortunately, it has started rusting within 3 months of purchase
All stainless steel has plastic wrapped around it to protect it. Its all generally fine to peel off other products, except this one. The plastic needs to be peeled off by the manufacturer because when the steel is folded and crimped together the manufacturer crimps the plastic inside/under the join and makes it impossible to peel off. I spent 30mins peeling, slicing and trimming the plastic off just one bucket to get it to a point where it looks semi ok but if you look closely you can still see the blue plastic in the join and it stands out because of the contrast against the stainless steel. Its obviously a quick and easy job that the manufacturers do to try and save money but in my opinion its unusable!
Bought for my dogs to drink out of but it rusted over within a month. Wouldn't buy unless you don't plan of putting water in it
do not buy , hopeless quality, been unshaped when i collected this item, i returned on the spot..wast of time shopping
