As an athlete, it's so important to hit my protein intake goals, but oftentimes, it's hard to get protein from "whole food sources", such as meat, eggs, dairy, etc. Sometimes, I need a convenient option to take on-the-go, and while I love protein bars, in the hot D.C. summer weather, those aren't always a realistic choice either, as they can melt in the sweltering sun. Quest Chips are a great savory alternative - this Ranch bag comes packing a punch of ranch-like flavor, but I just prefer some of their other varieties (e.g. Loaded Taco or Nacho Cheese) over these. The chips are also nice and crunchy and not overly grainy like some other protein chips out there. No, they don't taste exactly like a tortilla chip (hence the "tortilla-style" in the name) but they're the ... MoreAs an athlete, it's so important to hit my protein intake goals, but oftentimes, it's hard to get protein from "whole food sources", such as meat, eggs, dairy, etc. Sometimes, I need a convenient option to take on-the-go, and while I love protein bars, in the hot D.C. summer weather, those aren't always a realistic choice either, as they can melt in the sweltering sun. The chips are also nice and crunchy and not overly grainy like some other protein chips out there. No, they don't taste exactly like a tortilla chip (hence the "tortilla-style" in the name) but they're the most similar replica I've found so far, which is impressive given the fact that the main ingredient is a protein blend. For one bag, there's 140 calories, and a whopping 19 grams of protein! And with only 5g of fat and carbs per bag, the macros on these things are pretty unbeatable. Unlike their Quest bars, there's not an insane amount of added fiber through soluble corn fiber, which actually might make these more digestible for some people. The only knock that I have regarding this product is its high price point: you can get an 8-pack on the Quest website for $22.99, which comes out to around $2.87 a bag, which is pretty pricey. I've seen them on sale at other grocery stores for as cheap as $2/bag, and I think you can occasionally get them in larger packs/bags for less. Overall, this is a fun protein product, and certainly something that I would buy again in the future when it goes on sale!

I’m very hesitant when it comes to protein packed foods, especially quest bars. The protein taste is hard for me to get past. I saw a video of someone recommending these protein chips and while I was at the store, they caught my eye. I decided to try the ranch flavor because the other options didn’t seem as appealing to me. I fist noticed the bag wasn’t very full and felt kind of flat so I was expecting a bag of crumbs when I went to open it. Upon first opening the bag, I noticed the chips looked yellowish and small which was weird to be. But when I tasted them I was blown away! The texture is a bit crumbly so half of the bag was crumbs, but overall, they tasted almost exactly like off-brand Doritos. The flavor is great but the texture is something to get used to. ... MoreI’m very hesitant when it comes to protein packed foods, especially quest bars. The protein taste is hard for me to get past. These chips are absolutely delicious and good for you. They taste just like ranch Doritos almost. But these don’t have all the calories and bad in them. You can each add package and feel guilt free. Packing in 19g of protein was the big selling point for me. I have used them several times to make meat and cheese nachos. It stopped my craving for chips and I was glad to have an all protein meal that is so simple. I have been upping my protein for the past year and I wish I had found these sooner. I’d recommend to anyone who is upping their protein for whatever reason and don’t want to sacrifice taste.

I’ve tried so many Keto chips and flavors. Some gouge your mouth because they are so hard and gritty. Some have the right texture but are too salty. Some have the right texture but the flavor is not what you’re looking for. Not these! Spot on. Good crisp. Right ranch flavor. Only complaint is no big bags available and lots of small, non full chip sized runts in the bag. Hard to dip into salsa with a chip no bigger than your finger.

Nice ranch flavor! Sometimes tough to find as an online option. QUEST Chips offer a high protein, crispy snack that is close enough to a real chip to satisfy. Awesome as a lunch protein paired with a garden salad or just a few handfuls of veggies. While hiking I like to port a baggie of fresh spinach, cut mushrooms, celery, sweet peppers & baby tomatoes and eat that interchangeably while on the move or resting during a hike. The sodium intake is great to have for those long hikes, just place chips in a safe section of your hiking bag to make sure they do not get pulverized while you're on the trail! Damaged chips were replace or I could have accepted a full refund. Great customer service!
The Quest Nutrition Tortilla Style Protein Chips in Ranch flavor are absolutely delicious. The seasoning has the perfect balance of creamy, tangy ranch flavor. The texture is light and crispy, with a great crunch. I really appreciate that these protein chips pack 19g of protein per serving - it makes them a guilt-free and satisfying snack. The tortilla style shape and texture is also a nice change from the original protein chips. Highly recommend for ranch lovers!
I do not dislike the product. The product arrived very late and was in no way packaged correctly. I had ordered chips, they came all crumbs. They look as if every one that could have stepped on them did so. They were not sent in proper packaging and were unable to eat them. There’s not even air left in the bags they are so squished. Ridiculous on whoever packaged and sent this product. Shame. If I could give neg stars I def would.
I LOVE these QUEST protein chips. They are deliciously flavored and have the same texture as Doritos but are slightly thinner. The portion size per bag is small so sometimes I eat two bags in one sitting. These are available in multiple flavors so I have a variety to choose from when I am following a low-carb diet. My favorites are the Hot & Spicy and the Sour Cream and Onion. I recommend trying them all to determine your personal preference. They do not cause any unpleasant side effects as there are no sugar alcohols in them. In my opinion, these are one of the most perfect snacks. You can two bags at once without any guilt. I hope Netrition continues to offer the variety of flavors and any new flavors that QUEST decides to manufacture.
✨ FLAVOR: 8.5/10A very sweet dark chocolate flavored cookie that tastes and feels more like a chocolate cake with a super sweet a nice chocolate frosting. No protein taste at all!!Overall I thought it was very tasty for a protein cookie.✨ TEXTURE: 8.5/10A small domed shaped cookie covered with dark chocolate and a few sprinkles on top.Texture wise they are really nice but are more like a cake than a cookie. They’re soft, crumbly and a bit dry but it didn’t bother me.They’re quite small but have less than 100 calories. The ones i got in my last order felt quite dry but usually they're not!
