The Quest Nutrition Double Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies are an absolute treat. They have a rich, fudgy chocolate flavor and a wonderfully soft, chewy texture. I'm impressed that each cookie packs 15g of high-quality protein without tasting overly "proteiny." These are satisfying enough to curb my sweet cravings, but still feel like an indulgence. The macros are also really impressive - they're low in sugar and carbs but high in protein and fiber. Definitely a new favorite protein snack of mine.

Double Chocolate Chunk was very, very bland. The merest hint of a taste of dark chocolate but not totally bitter. I've previously had Cookie Dough, Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Peanut Butter, S'mores and Brownie flavours. Honestly, none are great. Most with barely a hint of the flavours described. The most palatable to me were the Cookie Dough and Cookies and Cream. The Cookie Dough edged it. Texture and flavours of all seem to vary and sometimes batches of even the best flavours become bland. Texture of the Cookie Dough is sometimes similar to actual cookie dough but other times it's like Blu-Tack. 🤢 Cookies & Cream sometimes appropriately slightly crumbly. Too inconsistent to guarantee anything really.

I am no stranger to quest bars, I have consumed them on and off for years. They are the best tasting nutritional bar I have found & meet my needs. In February I joined Weight Watchers & since consume a Quest bar daily to increase help increase my protein regularly. At times it serves as a snack or a meal replacement if I’m on the go. Every time I leave the house & I know I will be gone for a few hours I take a quest bar, an apple & a water bottle with me, this has worked so well keeping me from hitting fast food drive-thru windows that leave me feeling unsatisfied. I bought these protein bars as an alternative to high-calorie unhealthy snacks and I was happy with quick delivery. When I had a bite, surprisingly it tasted OK so I kept eating it. To be fair, this protein bar may be alright all in all except for bizarre aftertaste, which can't be described in words. If my assumption is correct, the artificial sweeteners used would be a reason why I felt like this. It would be nicer if I could enjoy eating this without noticing the taste. As a replacement, It could be one of the options available on the market but it's not the best.

Quest bars are very chewy and dense, and they often have sugar alcohols in 'em that some people can't digest. They're not bad, but they won't blow you away. The flavours I like most are the cookies and cream, mint choc chip, raspberry white choc, s'mores, choc hazelnut and blueberry muffin. Ordered these multiple times, from the same Seller - Always on time, always fresh - What more can I say! _ I'm pleased & one tip guys. If you're anything like me, I have one a day, as almost a treat & obviously a protein boost, & to get the best value I actually done the whole Subcribe & Save thing. Check that out. . .works out a lot LOT cheaper! (plus no hassle of ordering again , and again & inevitably running low)! Lastly, got this flavour simply because it's the least calorific / sugars etc. And the only other I order also is the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - It's heaven, & classed by me as a super treat :) _ Best one Quest do from them all hands down. I have wondered why my system has been all whacked out, and on a whim, I checked the ingredients to find that Quest now adds SUCRALOSE (poison) to these bars!!!! I am SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!! You have no idea. My protein bar was my favorite part of my eating every day. Such a yummy treat. I cannot eat cashews, which eliminates many other bar options, and Quest has been my go-to for so so long. WHY DID YOU MAKE THIS CHANGE???? The poor flavour is the issue here. Hard to eat it all because it had a tangy syrupy chemical kind of taste, along with chocolate. That dominating aspect of the flavour that was yukky. Had to drink to wash it down. Not a pleasure and at this price I would expect some premium product. I am accustomed to eating bars from many brands so I know what to expect in terms of expectations. Will never buy double choc chunk again. Only positive is the texture was fine and seems filling.
This was my go-to flavor of quest bar because up until recently it was one of the only flavors that did NOT have sucralose. I enjoyed the taste. NOW, the most recent box I purchased has sucralose listed as final ingredient and the bar is WAY sweeter. It's ruined. I won't be buying them again. I have been a customer of Quest for 3 years, buying these monthly until now.There is also recent studies that show Erythritol linked to heart disease.Quest needs to take these bars back to the lab and recreate them without sucralose or Erythritol.Stevia and monk fruit (without Erythritol) would be better options.
