The thing I like least about protein bars is that they usually taste chalky, and/or they are specifically targeted to and serve people doing high intensity workouts (I.e. rock climbing, mountain biking, etc). Quest bars are non of the above. Not only do the 20 grams of protein fill you up, they actually taste delicious too! Perfect to drop in your purse or after a workout, just for a snack, or in my case - the days when you can’t seem to find time to make lunch between all of your work commitments and need a good bite (c’mon, we’ve all been there)!

A fantastic snack

The perfect keto-friendly snack bar for me. It is on the harder but chewy side. It doesn't stick to the teeth. It does taste great and it is very satisfying. I usually have 1 after dinner. You don't need to worry about it containing soy protein or artificial sweeteners. It is a blend of milk + whey protein, sweetened with erythritol. There is usually a concern with erythritol causing gas or making you run to the toilet but I find this bar to be very tolerable - I have had no issues whatsoever. It is a lovely treat and it might make a great present for the protein bar lovers. If you've found this review helpful please give it a thumbs up.

Birthday Cake protein bar tastes great!

The Quest Birthday Cake bar is a great protein bar. Unlike most of my other favorite Quest bars, this one is not chocolate. It tastes more like a white birthday cake, but without the texture of a cake. After all, this is a protein bar, not a cake. So, of course the bar is more dense than cake. But, it tastes delicious. Before I had ever tried it, I thought about how Quest could make a protein bar with the flavor of a white birthday cake. Then, I tried it and thought, "wow! they really did it." Don't be fooled by the picture of the slice of cake on the box. You aren't getting a cake. But, you are getting a delicious protein bar that I highly recommend!

Disappointed

Birthday Cake has always been one of my Quest Bar favorites, so when I took a bite of one yesterday I immediately knew something was not quite right. The texture was a little softer, which is okay, but it was also gummier and had an odd flavor. Reading the ingredients revealed that they’ve replaced stevia with Sucralose, a harmful man-made sweetener that kills healthy probiotics in the gut. Guys, why skimp on ingredients? Granted, stevia isn’t perfect, but at least it’s natural. Charge a little more money if you have to, but resorting to a lower quality ingredient to save a few pennies cheapens your brand and reflects poorly on how you regard your loyal customers. Excellent!

These are delicious! I was hesitant buying bars with birthday cake flavour because that’s just weird. But I was pleasantly surprised. Texture is perfect and the taste is wonderful. For me they are a tad on the sweet side but that’s something I got used to because overall these bars are so tasty. Also the quality is good because the bars don’t crumble when you hold them, like many other protein bars. Highly recommended!

Quest Protein Bars and Protein Chips

The protein chips are a good alternative to regular chips if you follow a gluten free or low carb lifestyle. The prices are reasonable compared to some other suppliers. Sweet chilli are my favourite. The protein bars again offer a good sweet treat for Keto or low carb diets. The birthday cake and lemon cake are my personal favourites even though they upset my stomach if I eat an entire bar - probably the type of fibre used.

Quest is One of the Best

Quest has a wide variety of protein bars from Oatmeal Chocolate Chip to Blueberry Muffin. Me, I'm a peanut butter, chocolate lover, each bar has 20 protein, 4 carbs and 1 sugar. They're tasty and this is my go to food in the mornings. I am a senior who had my sleeve done 9 yrs ago best thing, I've ever done for me. You need the protein and I personally like their new snack bars, chips to help me stay within the bariatric food plan which I struggle with. Quest is one of the best flavored ones and I highly recommend them.

Surprisingly excellent

Quest quality is unmatched in terms of ingredients. I was skeptical about the flavor and stayed away for a while but it was such a mistake! I’m currently obsessed and it’s my favorite. It’s very very sweet (which I like) but if that’s not your thing you may want to reconsider.Most importantly, the bars arrived fresh. When I buy them in Europe, most times they arrive hard as if they were lying around for a while. iHerb has them fresh - soft and chewy

Top Quality

love love love this flavor! it is so enjoyable i have tried my fair shair of birthday cake protein bars but this takes the cake. literally. it is chewy without being gummy filling and Absolutely worth the 2 dollars a bar it also includes a generous amount of fiber! the artificial sweetner isnt bitter to me and that is another selling point id like to add. it is more worthwhile than premiere protiens "cake batter" shake at around the same price

Yum

I bought these on a whim (usually get the white chocolate raspberry and blueberry).Felt kind of silly because you open it and it is a white block with sprinkles (something you would imagine for kids).Of course the taste is artificial, but it is chewyand sweet (but not too much). I like that it is relatively small, as I do not get overly full. Just a good amount of protein (I am know to eat one for lunch in a pinch).It might be my favorite.
