Quest Tortilla Style Protein Chips - Nacho Cheese 32G

I’m on a weight loss journey, specifically one where I have to prioritise protein over any other food group (everything in moderation of course), but it’s been hard giving up snacking foods. Sometimes sugar snap peas just don’t do what I need them to😅 Quest products have been an absolute life saver in this journey! From chips and crackers to chocolate, they have what I need to get through cravings in a healthier way! I love the cookies and peanut butter cups, and the cheese crackers are really underrated! My favorite chips are the chili lime ones for sure. I’ve lost 115 lbs, and I couldn’t have done it without quest❤️

I like Quest products because I don’t get enough protein in my regular diet because I don’t eat very much, so I look for other ways to boost my protein intake. My go- to is drinking an Ensure Protein Max, but I also eat Quest protein bars. I recently purchased the Nacho Tortilla Chips after seeing the commercial for them and they are pretty good if you’re craving a “naughty” snack. They have a lot of powder on them too because even the powder is flavored protein powder. In short, if you don’t eat junk food and don’t remember what it tastes like and only care about nutrition, then I think these are a great option to add to your pantry. If you love chips and junk food then I don’t think you will like these.

I definitely have cravings for salty foods instead of sweets when I’m trying to watch what I’m eating I always crave chips. It’s unbelievable that these chips have 20g of protein. Protein is also something I struggle to get enough of daily. These chips save me when the craving hits and I need to make my macros. Of course they have sort of a different flavor then regule fried chips but I love them. They don’t skimp on the cheese powder on them. I always stock up on these. They are more expensive but worth it.

I bought a bag a while ago, along with the ranch flavor and I've been trying to stay pretty low carb/keto and I've been craving nachos and so I was making meatballs for the fam and saved some ground beef for myself to make nachos. Used a little taco seasoning with the browned ground beef, layered up my nachos and omg, maybe the best nachos I've ever had, guilt free. The quest chips didn't get soggy like I was afraid they would have gotten, they didn't taste like a diet product or like I was depriving myself. Wonderful flavor, not super super crunchy like original nacho cheese doritos, I actually prefer these to them, same flavor without the too crunchy texture!

Disgusting and Pricey for 7 chips

After reading all the positive reviews of these chips I decided to give them a try. I'll save you the time though, SKIP THESE. If you like the taste and texture of cardboard, just buy some cheese dust and you can make these at home with a good pair of scissors..... I was initially disappointed in the number of chips that come in a bag, there were less than 7. but after tasting the first chip, while very very crunchy, I was thankful there were only 6 chips to land in the trash. Essentially, you're paying for the brand name on the bag and the air from their manufacturing facility inside. HUGE waste of money. I wish I could pick 0 stars.

Love them!!

Bought these a little afraid we wouldn?t like them or they would have a heavy protein for health food taste and I was amazed! The texture is a little different from regular chips in that they aren?t quite as crunchy, but one of the things I look for in chips is that they are well coated with whatever flavoring or seasoning they are supposed to have and these are well-coated! I love them, the nacho cheese flavor is great and kept me from eating fries with my burger! I definitely recommend them just don?t expect that you will get something that tastes just like Doritos. They don?t leave you feeling like you ate greasy heavy chips and so much protein! I will be trying the rest of the flavors!

More crumbs than chips- too fragile

It says they’re chips, and there were a few in the tiny pile of crumbles that were in the bottom of the bag. I was expecting CHIPS, like Doritos, but these were wafer-thin little crackers that crumbled in my fingers as I tried to take them out of the bag. They had a very strong, salty nacho cheese flavor, but it was like eating the crumbs that are left in the bottom of a bag of real chips. You know how those individual bags of chips are mostly air? Well, they are very full compared to how full this bag of “chips” was. I was looking for a way to increase my protein with something tasty, but these tiny little bags of crumbs are definitely NOT it. Don’t waste your money on these.

So unexpectedly delicious!

I had tried one of the quest protein bars and been extremely disappointed by it in so many ways, so going into this I was a little skeptical. I have never been more happy to eat my words. The flavor is amazing! I’ve never been a huge fan of the original nacho cheese Doritos, but somehow I prefer these way more. I’m someone who prefers a lighter/less dense chip that almost melts in the mouth, so the light crispness of this is perfect for me. The cheese dust flavor is just right, and there’s no weird protein taste or aftertaste. I could probably go through 2 or 3 bags of this in one sitting and not worry about it because of how high protein they are for a bag of chips. And they’re still around the same calories of a normal bag of chips, so it’s a win-win. Truly terrible!

I purchased these thinking they would be a good lower calorie, high protein snack to take to work, so I wouldn't be tempted by the junk food options there. Not so. I couldn't even finish one serving. I suppose they might make a good diet food if you are looking to cut your intake -- they left me feeling full, left a terrible aftertaste, and I felt queasy for several hours after eating them. I can't imagine anyone finding these enjoyable. I would NOT recommend these to anyone who enjoys actual food.
