Rabanne Million Gold for Her Eau de Parfum 30ml

I’m typically a fan of very sweet and gourmand fragrances, however Rabanne’s gold for her blew me away. This fragrance smells fairly sophisticated as it’s inoffensive, noticeable, and not cloying. There are notes of musk which I typically can not smell, however I was able to smell them in Gold for her, and it made this fragrance feel like this is just how my skin naturally smelled like. Others could smell this perfume on me when I was in talking distance, as I spent a whole day running errands and catching up with friends (I went to the dentist, walked around the city for hours, went to a fair and rode the rides, to a restaurant, to an air show, etc). I sprayed one spray on each wrist. My friends enjoyed the fragrance and my dentist complimented me and asked what I was wearing! This perfume projected enough for others to smell for about 5 hours, after then it became a skin scent I could smell on myself (and others if they came intimately close to me, such as for a hug) for about 8 hours. After the 8 hour mark I reapplied again and I could still smell it on me when I had gone to bed. Considering I was around greasy fair food, sweating, and riding rollercoasters (windy days tend to make my perfume vanish on skin and clothes:( ) I was very impressed by the longevity of this perfume, especially since I sprayed minimally. The quality is there when it comes to the longevity and projection. The bottle is a beautiful geometric piece I love to display in my collection. The cap and glass bottle also feel very substantial and like heavy good quality glass, so I believe it may be hard to travel with unless you decant some perfume to-go. I also wish the fragrance was refillable as the bottle is sturdy enough to last a life time, so it would be nice to just buy the juice to refill!

To start: I came into this not knowing much about the fragrance or the brand aside from it being fairly popular. I can easily understand why though, it’s a lovely floral that’s not too intense or skews to any specific type of floral (powdery/soapy/etc).The notes listed on the package are Rose, White Flowers, and MuskTypically I’m incredibly picky with rose scents as well, they tend to skew very soapy to me. The opening of this did come off as very clean and crisp but it wasn’t intensely soapy. The rose plays quite nicely with the white flowers as well.
