While the Mario Party series has been the gold standard of the genre, the last 2 have fallen kind of flat while Ubisoft stepped up big time and created what is ( as of August 2024 ) the best party game on the Switch. It's all themed around legends, myths, and fables. The minigames are varied and either intuitive or intentionally counter intuitive. ( And if pay attention to the story bits you should know which... so they snuck a little edutainment in there. ) The classic lit and reading comprehension is balanced by the rabbids lowbrow humor. It's a fun multiplayer board game setup with a storybook motif that moves along at a good pace. If you like party games, you'll like it. If you find them hit or miss, the fact that it sells on ebay for almost as low as trade in ... MoreWhile the Mario Party series has been the gold standard of the genre, the last 2 have fallen kind of flat while Ubisoft stepped up big time and created what is ( as of August 2024 ) the best party game on the Switch. I bought the wrong Nintendo game for my granddaughters birthday on line. It was the wrong type for her device. I took it to the Newmarket store to exchange for the right one or get a credit only to be told they wouldn’t do either on a brand new product I had just purchased. Disappointing.

Fun game. I don't love that you can only play with one joycon but it's very responsive and I didn't have much trouble with glitching. The target games were a little off but that definitely can be user error. Cool combo of Mario party and just dance

I bought it coz I really like the Wii version and I was so excited that they have a new game on switch. However, when I played this I feel the graphic, music and the games are very plain and boring. The rabbids are not funny at all. Even with the use of controller is a bit confusing. And, for the dancing part, I don’t even feel it’s playing music so you can’t really play along the beats. I’m sorry. I love rabbid so much and had been playing many of it for Wii but I do feel this one is terrible. Mario part is a lot better.
Good game for kids. Lots of mini games to play when they have friends over. I can see that it can get boring fast (at least for older kids). Also i don't like that you have to sign up (or use your existing) ubisoft account. You can't play it without having an account. It cannot be a kid xbox account because of age restrictions (automatically submits your child's xbox age from the xbox account so you have to use a parent account to sign up). A game like that shouldn't require a separate account since you manage your family settings on xbox anyways. Just a way to gather simebof your data.
My husband and I love this game. It’s hard to find multiplayer games that we both will play. We will either play this game by ourselves or with each other. And it’s great when we have the kids come over too, helps keep them entertained and let their energy out.
The multiplayer experience is a highlight, fostering friendly competition and cooperative fun. Whether racing, solving puzzles, or engaging in other wacky challenges, the game consistently delivers on its promise of a good time. With various game modes and customization options, Rabbids Party of Legends offers replayability, making each session fresh and exciting. It's a must-have for anyone seeking lighthearted enjoyment on their Nintendo Switch. Ubisoft has successfully created a party game gem with Rabbids Party of Legends.
I haven't played this and decided to return it.The reason for the 3 star review is because on the back of the box it says in small text: an internet connection and creation of a Ubisoft account required to play this game. Moreover, you can only use joycons. If I was aware of these two things I would not have purchased this game. I'm writing this to let others know.
