I acts used this on my back for an injury. It stayed warm all day and felt so soothing. I put it on a thin tank top over the area and it worked great. No skin irritation thru clothing and I have very sensitive skin. If you want extra warmth I found leaning against something or some type of pressure on the area caused it to warm more and more. If using for menses and have cramps more than just one small area you'll need to use more than one. Using there without skin contact may be difficult depending on size or type of underwear you wear. This was a life saver for me and I will be using them for endometrial pain but will need to buy several since it's continuous pain and they only last 8h. These are a life saver for me so I'll pay for it!

Last month, I went on a random Target run with my sister. She pointed out this box of heating pads to me that sounded interesting and potentially helpful. I suffer from severe dysmenorrhea and am constantly looking for different kinds of products that may offer relief. I really wanted these to work, but I was definitely disappointed. Since purchasing these pads, I’ve tried placing them in a variety of locations, including my lower abdomen and lower back. At first, they seemed legit. The beads inside the pads started to warm up as soon as I removed the adhesive and attached them to the outside of my underwear. However, they barely get hot enough to feel any real relief. Why didn't I buy this before?? I am not a pill taker or a believer that anything will really help significantly with my intense and painful periods. After childbirth, my periods became worse. I decided to invest and make the purchase. Im so glad I did. I use one daily at the start of my period, and then switch to an electric heating pad in the evening when I can. In the meantime, this has been great in providing a small sense of relief. It does not go directly on your skin. So, you may want to wear a longer underwear when you need to adhere one on. I wouldn't put it anywhere besides on your underwear for periods as you probably won't feel the heat if there is a thicker barrier like if its on pants or something. Why suffer in pain when you can help yourself, help your mood and overall brighten your day.
