Rain-X 2 in 1 Glass Cleaner 680ml

Just brilliant!! This is the best way to describe the product. The Rain repellent from RainX is available in Spray use option and an applicator pad option. Both work great. The applicator pad option does need a little elbow grease if not applied in perfect conditions. That being said I’ve found that a Glass cleaner cloth from Turtle wax brand works best with this product to clean and buff out the product. It beads up the rain water and keeps the windshield visibility brilliant without having to run the wiper too often during light to medium rains. During heavy rains it beads up the water on the windshield between the wiper intervals. This is a brilliant product. Highly recommended.

My windshield used to always streak and when it would rain hard, I’d have to pull over. I washed my car and used some RainX for the first time. It only took 5 minutes. Now go drive in the rain and see the incredible results! The water beads up and glides off the windshield like magic. Much much better with the RainX. Try it, your wipers will thank you. I keep a bottle of RainX in all my vehicles and reapply RainX when I fill up at a gas station.

A superior auto glass cleaner with a bonus

I live in an apartment building that has a parking garage. Dust blows in and around and gets on my car so I am cleaning the windows often before I drive out. When I saw this Rain-x product I wanted to to give it a try. I usually use the well known glass cleaner that starts with "W" but it always leaves nasty streaks that I don't see till I am out driving. So I am real excited to give this 2 in 1 Rain-x Glass Cleaner+Rain Repellent a real world try because in years past I have used Rain-X Original Water Repellent and found it to work quite satisfactorily.The Rain-x Glass Cleaner + Rain Repellent is real easy to use compared to my usual glass cleaner and requires a lot less rubbing motion. I have not had to drive in any downpours since applying the Rain-x Glass Cleaner and Rain Repellent but have driven several times in light showers. The windshield wipers sweep much easier across the glass which is important and rain water will bead up nicely as it does with the original Rain-x Water Repellent. I also used it to my outside rear view mirror which gives me clearer rear side vision when raining which is an extreme safety factor. Decent Cleaner - Helps to Repel Rain & Bugs

Use this product in addition to traditional Rain-X. Decent cleaning properties. I found that using a cotton cloth to remove and buff works better than micro towels that tend to leave some fabric behind - cotton is better to remove the swirl marks. Use during Love Bug season to minimize bugs sticking to the windshield and for easy bug removal. Use along with Rain-X windshield washing fluid.

Leaves behind a stubborn haze.

I used to use Rain-X religiously a while back and it always worked well for me. Recently, I decided to give it another go, and applied it to my new windshield. Followed the instructions to the letter and it left an impossible-to-remove residue that’s left my windshield hazy. Did they change the formula or is my windshield crap quality? Make sure you test it on an inconspicuous patch of glass before covering the whole surface. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Neutral Product

I have used a different brand of rain repellent before and it functioned as described. I'm not sure what the issue is with this one. I used it before it rained and all it did was make my windshield look oily. However, it definitely cleaned them, so that's a plus because I've struggled finding a glass cleaner that actually removed the dirt but didn't streak. When it rains, it's obvious that I've used something on my glass to repel it, but it just looks oily and is annoying. With the previous brand, I could get by with driving in the rain without turning my wipers on or using them less frequently, unless there was a downpour. I'm not completely dissatisfied with this product, but I was hoping for a little more.

Not what I was hoping I was buying.

My brother bought Rain-X back in theearly 80s and applied it to the windshield of his car. It worked great even at speeds just barely above 50 km/hr. This product does a really good job of cleaning the glass but the rain repellant properties are sorely lacking. I have used another spray on cleaner, repellant that is available at Canadian Tire as well and it cleans just as good if not a bit better and the rain repellant is marginally better if at all. I applied the Rain X and ythe next day we had a light rain going to medium hvy a while later. Even at 60 km/hr the rain did not "bad up and roll off the windshield" and the first a next wipes of the wipers left a "haze" on the windshield that while not completely blurring the vision ( it was daylight and I know that haze makes night vision dangerous especially with opposing headlights particularly the after market LEDs. I followed the directions and the window had been clean of any remaining products or bugs etc. before I applied it. I even let it sit for a minute or two after I applied it before buffing it off TWICE and with new clothes each time. The actual Rain X that comes in a smaller bottle works better but I was hoping to save couple steps by using this ( and the other product). By the ay the wiper blades were raised off the window and cleaned before the product was applied and for an hour after. I am hoping that the Rain-X anti fog product works better as I plan on trying that as Fall's changing temperatures leaves condensation on the inside of the windshield at times.

Rain-X 2-in-1 Glass Cleaner 680mL

I had checked other customer reviews for this product prior to buying and would agree with them that this product is not as good as the Rain-X Original Repellent Treatment 207mL. A store staff member recommended the Rain-X 2-in-1 Glass Cleaner. After the first couple times of the car being in the rain, the rain no longer beaded up. I will now go and buy the Rain-X Original Repellent Treatment 207mL to treat all the windows on my car. I would not recommend this product.

Works pretty good.

One of The things to have if you are theb angry destructive type? The arm that has the switches for wiper control on my truck keeps breaking off and only way i can get wipers to come on is with the wiper washer and it works but they dont move very quick so i use this on the windshield. Cleans good with no streaks and repels water so slow wipers not so bad. Just dont use it on the tint side of the windows. It will ruin the tint film. Probably why it says for exterior use only?

Works wonders, makes driving safer!

I've been using RainX products for years. Usually only the windshield washer with rain repellant. So when I had the opportunity to get this aerosol can I jumped at the chance...and I'm so glad I did. RainX lives up to their promise, turning water smeared all over your windshield into droplets that repel the moment they hit your window and makes them roll off like butter on a hot knife. I applied this to all of my windows and let me tell you my car looks like a futuristic automobile gliding through the storm as the water just swipes away at the moment they touch anything that has been coated in this magical mixture of liquid.
