I've always had great luck with the Rain-x products. I recently decided to give the anti-fog product a try. After reading the application instructions i applied it exactly as stated on the label. Not knowing how the product would work I decided to only apply it to half my windshield and the driver's door window. Now just a waiting game for the first chance to test it. A few days later it rained and I as well as my dog made a dash for the car to get out of the rain. Low and behold after being in the car a few minutes the window started to fog. To my amazement the side that fogged first and the worst was the side i applied the anti fog to along with my door. This product works great on the bathroom mirror in my house. Tried it on the inside of our 2007 Chevrolet Equinox which has issues with the AC not working at times and it does help keep the windows from fogging up but a haze/smear of this product is still on the windows and seems hard to wipe it off. Might have applied too much or not wiped it off in time for it to do that. Overall, this is a good product for our bathroom mirrors in our house but I don't know if I can recommend it for use inside of any vehicle unless you want some haze/smear of this product on your vehicles windows. I know that I am very particular about my vehicles windows. I could tell it was working when only a portion of my windshield was covered. I forgot to do the top of the windshield on the passenger side. So the driver side was clear but the top of the passenger side was super foggy. If I did not apply this before I had to drive it could have been a bad situation. Either way I am going to apply this to my husband's car next! Totally worth it!

I don't have the "winter package" with heated seats and other warming features that one would need to drive in extreme cold. My windows were always fogging up and the defrost just wasn't strong enough. I had to wipe them with a shammy cloth every 10 minutes. This anti-fog works very well. I used the Rain X window cleaner too, and my windows are finally clean. I applied the anti fog after and my windows did not fog at all today and it was 28 degrees. I did not apply it to the rear windshield yet, so that was still foggy. Make sure you wipe off any that sprays onto the dash, ect. Read the directions. There was a big warning sign on the bottle that it is a eye irritant. I am not sure if this just means "do not mistake this for eye drops / do not put this directly in your eye" or if this meant "if you use it on your glasses make sure it has fully dried before putting them on your face to avoid fumes going into your eyes. ".It specifically says that it is made for windshields and mirrors. I did try it on my mirror, but, unfortunately it never got foggy enough for me to be sure it does anything.I will say the instructions are pretty easy to follow. I must admit I was skeptical of this product. I waited for a truly rainy day to test this out. First off, this is for INTERIOR windows/glass which you can use in your house too - not just your car! You have to apply it in sections a d then wipe clean with a dry paper towel. Let me tell you- THIS WORKS! I applied it to my windshield and front windows and they DID NOT FOG! The windows I hadn’t applied it to- yup- they fogged! (Look at the pic of my back window-which was not treated). This works very well and I can’t wait to put it in all of my windows. The only thing I don’t know is how long it will last before having to reapply. But I will be using this in my bathroom mirrors/windows as well! Kudos to a product that actually does what it says!
My experience is consistent with other users who mentioned the streaks. I've wiped and wiped with 100% cotton as recommended. Even tried power tool buffing. The streaks don't go away. On the windshield the streaks impair vision more than fog. And I can wipe away fog, can't wipe this away.And I don't think I am imposing a use case for the product. The label clearly states windshields.Big disappointment from a brand like Rain X. Honestly should be pulled from the market.
Working so far. It’s a little bottle but will last long it seems. I tried on my car windshield and so far you can see the difference. I definitely read the instructions before applying it, if you apply too much it might look blurry, so read the instructions, and it will work.Before you apply it, the surface has to be 100% clean and dry. It there was dust and fingerprints on your windshield/mirror, well, is going to be fog free but dirty, wont look good, take 5 minutes and clean your windshield first with a window cleaner, there’s many in the market, it’ll be worth it and will last at least a couple I estimate.Having anti fog windshield is very helpful, very affordable product, worth the price.
Great product! I have an old Dodge with no demister or A/C. Fogged up bad in winter. I put this on, (very easy; pour small amount on cloth, apply to glass, flip cloth and buff it out until streaks are gone and glass is clear), took 2 mins. I immediately noticed results on my first test drive and I know it works 100% because I missed a spot and had a streak of humidity where I didn’t apply it. Got home, applied it on that area and no more steam. Front and side windows. Not sure how long between applications but winter in the Western Bay of Plenty only last several weeks so 1 bottle will be AMPLE. It’ll do me 2-3 years.
