I usually wear a M in every top and jacket but got this in L . This raincoat is slightly small. Perfect if you just want to wear a shirt under it. But if you want to wear sweaters or sweatshirts under it think about the next size. The sleeves are very long, although I usually wear a M petite (5’3” and 135) so my arms are not long. There are snaps to tighten but I have small wrists. I usually need long or midi dresses altered so simply have Nordstroms alter the sleeves or a local dry cleaner usually can do it. Totally waterproof and smell went away after a few days. Awesome for our trip to Ireland. The belt snaps on so you won’t loose it.

So as always the material is fab, the customary matte finish is perfect for making things look more polished and expensive.However I thought (very incorrectly) that this was an upgraded design I already own from around 3yrs ago - as the only difference is the pockets are now sealed. But, this is unlined and therefore isn’t a warm coat, just literally protects you from rain and the elements.My original is still going strong, I just wanted a different colour, however my original is also padded and super warm even in snow for walking my dog.I didn’t not think this warranted the price tag so returned it. Ultimately if you want rain protection then this is still a fab option, but the lack of warmth is a huge no for me.

I was a bit hesitant when I ordered, because I was hoping the cost would have a mesh lining or similar to make sure my skin has no contact with the plastic to avoid sweating. But the material is quite special, feels really soft and not plastic-like at all. I think it’s gonna be breathable, but I’m yet to wear it. Ever since I bought it, it hasn’t rained. Typical, isn’t it? Anyway, I am 177cm (5’9”) tall and about 67kg. I bought size M and it fits perfectly with some wiggle room to put on a cozy sweater. The colour is so beautiful (I got the Flint one and it’s a grey colour with a subtle lavender tint; I love it).The length of the coat is perfect as well, for me it’s the same as the models as I’m the same height.Let’s see how it’ll perform in the rain. ☔

I wouldn't recommend it. The material is good and waterproof, but the fit is atrocious! I went for an XL as I'm normally a size 12/14, around my lower area it fits fine but the shoulders are absolutely massive. The sleeves and underarms are huge and look like balloons. The sleeves are also excessively long and i have to roll them up a few times to be functional. The jacket itself is quite long too, I'm 5'6 and it falls to just below my knees, almost like a dress. I don't mind this except the waistbelt is so low, it sits at my hips. So i can never use the belt as it just wraps around my hips instead of higher up at my waist and looks and feels terrible. The wholefit and shape of this jacket is really terrible and I regret buying it so much, especially at the price ... MoreI wouldn't recommend it. This light weight unlined raincoat is perfect to throw over a warm and cozy outfit. It can go with either jeans and sneakers, or be dressed up with boots and a skirt. I’m a true medium, sometimes a small on top or a large on the bottom depending on the brand, and can wear a thick sweater under it without a problem. Every time I see a review that says it doesn’t run true to size, I always wonder if they know their true size because sizing in America is so all over the place. I ordered the curve jacket because I thought that it would fit my very curvy hips. Unfortunately, the sizing wasn't adjusted for a big butt. I should have know better since there are hardly any curvy models on their website, but I thought the fit work for me given the title and that deceptive picture that shows more of a waistline. I was wrong. To the design team, if you want to reach a wider audience, please update this "curve" style for people who are not flat backed. Even in the Large, my arms were swimming in the extra fabric but the bum was a tight fit. I would have loved for this jacket to work! The design of the jacket is great and the material does appear to be water repellent. The fabric had a strong smell when I opened the package, but I imagine it will go ... Nice, stylish, effective raincoat. As in many items that I’ve ordered from Nordstrom, I can’t understand the previous reviews. I ordered a medium as was “suggested” and the former reviews rang true to that choice. It’s clearly too large in every way and; therefore, unflattering. I’m returning for a small. I do have to state that I don’t intend on wearing it over another jacket or bulky sweater which could be the reason why I consider it too large.
This jacket has kept me completely dry in pouring rain for hours. I have used it walking the streets of Paris in the rain, as an all purpose travel jacket in Romania, hiking in the rainforest in Costa Rica during heavy downpours, and even as a stylish light jacket on a night out in Chicago. It packs small but looks beautiful on. Flattering, breathable, and most importantly, truly waterproof. The green color is a neutral and goes with almost everything. I have had my jacket for 3 years and have recommended it to many other people.
I love almost everything about this jacket. The fabric is soft and lightweight. The super dark navy color looks almost black and is shiny as a rain slicker should be.😊 The fit is fantastic, runs true to size. It is somewhat noisy but it’s not bad. The only problem I have is like one of the previous reviewers mentioned the hood is too deep. The visor covers my eyes and I can’t walk. I have to take it to alterations to fix. Thus one star is off.
It can be a bit wider in the hips if you want to adress the curve sector. The use of a teen skinny girl to sell a curvy jacket is akward. I like the jacket, but it is tight in the hips, if I order a size bigger, sleeves would be insenely long. Sleeves are already long in the size I ordered but I can't wear a cardigan under it, so it's a summer jacket only. Material is great but shape is ... muaww... okayish. I would strong;y suggest to improve the model for the curve market as this jacket doesn't fit the claims.
