I’ve been wearing Proteam line for years, and gave the Core line a try because if they had a color I really like. Returned it because of fitting and composition of the vest is just way below standard of what I expect from the brand. Went back to Proteam vest and love that even the color wasn’t my first choice.

Great item! Little chilly? This gilet keeps that wind from piercing through. Great quality zippers and fabric. I love the cycling stories written inside.

Overall it is a fine vest. I bought it on a good sale and glad I did. It is way overpriced, even on sale. The materials are super thin. It is a tad too tight around the armpits. It isn't a great fit overall and makes a ton of noise flapping in the wind, particularly at the shoulder areas.

While it is perfect as a shell in its material and offers a great aero profile, I did find myself fumbling to access nutrition. Full disclosure, I was gloved, this was my first ride with the piece and it was a gravel race. So... 4.75 stars?
I did a century ride on this Core Gilet. The weather was pretty chilly. I was soaked in sweat in a few hours of my ride. I would consider this vest as wind breaker. It’s not breathable and the sweat stays makes the fabrics sticks to your body. Not a good feeling. Another is…the shoulder bunch up. The Stretchy elastic sleeve does not work from bunching up the shoulder and it feels Discomforting around the armpit. The only thing good about this Gilet is they release several colors which i like.
Seems like a nice gilet. Unfortunately, their sizing chart must be off. I wear XL in Castelli, Gio, etc. even though i am a std mens L and this XL (based on their chart) was very tight across the chest and uncomfortable tight underneath the arms. Nice and packable. Very lite windbreaker style. Would have been great to try a ride with this one, but it has to go back
First time I wore it I got rained on unexpectedly. And stayed warm, dry (under the vest, of course), and happy. Bottom-up zipper really does work to get at stuff in your pockets. Fit is exact to their specs - I'm right on the max for medium, which is what I got and it's snug but doesn't flap, and actually fits close to my skinny neck, so I'm not scooping air into it.
I wanted to love this but the fabric is very light/thin. Definitely a roady vest since it's very snug. As a mountain biker, I like things a little less body hugging. No rear pocket is also a poor design.
The fit is great. I prefer a curved axillary opening and these fit the bill. Not too long and not too warm. The only upgrade I would like is at least 1-3 pockets in the rear would be great.
I'm 5' 10' about 144 lbs and the small fits snug but very comfortably. No flapping, Double front zipper is perfect for releasing the bottom to get to back jersey pockets. Cuts the cool morning wind and rolls up small for when it warms up. Great product, very happy.
