I have used the Rare Beauty foundation and I’m not that impressed with it. The dry, powdery finish isn’t for me. I’d heard that the concealer paired well with it and was only medium coverage so I didn’t think I’d enjoy it at all, as I prefer hydrating concealers. Concealers with any dryness at all accentuate the texture and fine lines under my eyes and I hate that. To me, this concealer deviates from the foundation in so many ways. It’s so hydrating and thin! The Rare Beauty concealer is one of my favorite concealers of all time! The formula is lightweight SUPER creamy. It gives medium coverage but you can build it up a bit. I have issues with concealers creasing under my eyes and looking dry, but this one never creases on me. My undereyes always look very smooth and hydrated when using this concealer. Also, sometimes I like to use this concealer all over my face like a foundation, and it looks flawless! The shade range for this concealer line is great with a wide selection of different undertones. Rare Beauty has so many amazing products, and this is definitely one of my favorites. Highly recommend!

Disappointed with products

I have been very excited about the Rare Beauty line arriving in the UK and have spent a LONG time trying to research the accurate shade for their face products (as I'm fair with redness across my face). I have seen so many videos with detailed swatches in a variety of shades: Foundations /concealers from 160C to 220C and tinted moisturiser from 12C to 24N. And from my research I've recently decided to purchase two full size products: first the tinted moisturiser in shade 24N and the concealer in shade 200C...Shade match/consistency was not very good. I found it too orange and the consistency was very different to that of the sample pack. It didn't sit well on my skin and overall felt very different from sample. Fantastic concealer for pale skin

This is a great shade range for pale skin. I was matched to 120C for my very pale neutral leaning slightly cool skin. It isn’t too pink like many brands. I always used Nars for the shade range but prefer the finish of this. It has a lighter creamy texture and blends easily leaving a nice natural look. I wouldn’t say it’ll cover all darkness under the eye, which I don’t mind as I prefer a natural look, but it does have a nice brightening effect. It is about a medium coverage. It also looks good on the face for concealing redness or spots and doesn’t leave a dry textured finish. You don’t need much at all so the tube should last a long time.

I am very picky with my foundations and have been using this one for a couple of months now. They have a great shade range for all my girlies who can never get the right shade. I really liked how it is not too creamy and the applicator is great. It is super natural looking and provides light to medium coverage. However, I only gave 3 stars because of a few things. First, it might be other products I put underneath my eyes, but sometimes it almost pills off my skin, but I won't blame the product since it only happens on certain occasions but be aware of that. It also does not last the whole day. At the end of a 6-8 hour school day, I can still tell there is some on, but my eye bags are very visible. It also creases a lot. Long Lasting and Perfect for Dry Sensitive Skin

This is my new holy grail concelear. It workers perfectly on my dry eczema prone skin. It blends well without using Primer and foundation (I did use a very moisturizing face cream, eye cream, and a a hydrating tacky sunscreen so that probably helped). I have dark undereyes and even with the medium coverage, it covers it beautifully yet still looking "skin like". I set it with rare beauty's always an optimist setting powder in shade light and the original Elf Setting Mist, and let me just say that it lasts. I got 3 shots in my arms, one of them being the Covid Vaccine. I'm slightly embarssed to say that my arms were extremely sore, so sore that I couldn't reach them up to wash my face. It's got a natural hydrating finish, but not too hydrating to the point it would make Mascara smear and give you racoon eyes like most moisturizing concelears.I only have 2 complaints about this product. A) I wish they made a cool toned concelear a bit lighter. 120C matches my overall skintone so it can't be used as a brightening concelear. It's fine for me because I don't wear foundation so it blends nicely into my skin, but if you were doing a full face it would not work to lighten your under eyes. B) The shade photos online are misleading. They are far lighter than what they appear online. For reference, I'm a ginger and extremely pale. The model and swatches is no where near my actual skintone. So beware with that.

Pale people of the world, try this!

I used to use Smashbox concealer, but when they revamped their line, they got rid of the shade that matched my skin, so I had to go on the hunt for a new product. I'm a natural redhead, and I have really pale skin. My undertones are pink, and my face has always been really oily. I have a ton of allergies, so to start with, I'm so happy there's nothing in this product that I'm allergic to. I'm allergic to witch hazel, and birch trees, so there are a lot of brands I can't even try because they use these as an ingredient. Replacing my Tarte Shape Tape with this!

I'll be replacing my Tarte Shape Tape (which I've used for 6 years) with this for the foreseeable future. I've been looking for a concealer that's less thick and cakey feeling under my eyes. I'm 32 and I find that the Shape Tape started to crease on me and wouldn't set. Also finding a proper shade match was hard, I had to mix fair light neutral and light neutral together. I was recommended this Rare Beauty concealer by a Sephora SA, she said it's a hidden gem. I was shade matched to 180W and it is all she said it would be! It has great coverage, it's light and it's brightening. I use a tiny bit of yellow under eye corrector on my dark under eye circles, then add some of this concealer, and very lightly set it with powder. It looks SO good. Very drying

I really wanted to like this more, as so many of the products in the Rare Beauty line work so well for me. However, I can't make this concealer. I have oily skin and somehow this concealer is so drying on my skin. It's very thick, and the applicator deposits a lot of product, more than what is required, which I find wasteful. I try to use as little as possible so that I can blend it in but I can't get it to work. Whether I set my skin with powder or don't, it creases HEAVILY, and creasing begins within minutes of application. Besides the creasing, I notice it cracks and becomes patchy throughout the day. I end up looking like a mess. I don't think I will even finish using it. This was a disappointment, sadly. It is a very dry and thick formula.
