Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 8GB Board

The raspberry pi four with four processors 64 bit Ubuntu is doing exactly what I need it to do. I’m doing image and array processing and plotting and the raspberrypi4 does it easily on a Ubuntu server. . Great product. And Vilros is a great vendor to work with.

Turbocharged with 8 GB RAM, RPi 4 finally shatters the desktop barrier. Running Raspberry Pi OS (née Raspbian) this board barely breaks a sweat. Runs reassuringly cool in open air. Will likely add a fan and heatsinks when a Wi-Fi friendly case is added.

It’s an 8gb Raspberry Pi 4, what’s not to love? Also, this Pi’s USB C can receive more power than the 2gb or 4gb Pi 4s - after testing overclocks, this seems to run more stable than the other Pis, and does great with a 2.1ghz overclock (1.5ghz with no overclock).Also, for those wanting to use this for data science, using things like ELK stack, this is great!

Great device, hard to find for less than $150

They are great and scalped. I bought this for a fair price considering all that. Hint: use a high quality SDCard, to make it run faster when manipulating files.

Great product, Great Price.

This is a great product for a great price. The only problem I had was that the USB ports did not work out of the box. However this is a know problem and I just had to update the firmware to fix the problem. Which is not a real problem so it did not count against the product.

I luckily ran across this company a few years back and sure glad I did. Vilros is what you call "TOP NOTCH"! You will find out when you shop around. Their metal cases for the pi are the best your going to get cooling them down. Stand offs from the case come in contact with the parts that need cooling, making the whole metal case a heat sink. Great design! Overclocking the Pi4B 4GB model up to 2.2 GHz full time with NO ISSUES! Stay cool at 50C! ORDER WITH CONFIDENCE! Your not going to do any better than Vilros! I know! Have many Pi's bought from them!

Initial impression

It's been a slow start, I received a replacement board pi 4B with 8gb. First one had a bad card reader. As of yet, I don't believe I can give you a fair assessment of my progress . It's extremely slow so I'm looking into that issue. I have been unable to get the network set up. I've been involved with computers for a long time but this is my first look at a raspberry. I'll be doing some research this week and see what I can find out.

Its a great computer and does what it can

I really enjoy my raspberry pi 4. This computer is very powerful for its size letting me learn how to code in different languages and make indie games. I highly recommend it for either desktop or servers.

Small and Mighty

I own multiple of these small computers. Each one has always performed as expected. Don't expect much from it then be impressed by what it can do.

Vilros delivered the Raspberry Pi...

Vilros delivered the Raspberry Pi fast and it is great. It is functioning great with Ubuntu Mate 20.04, which I tweaked with some basic bash programs. It does everything I wanted for everything from Kodi to Nextcloud. This is running better than my Linux Mint laptop. Thank you Vilros.
