Does the job

I've used this on most of the doors and windows in my house (3 years ago) and also on on outdoor furniture project. It does the job as advertised. HINT: If you use the wrong size for the gap you're trying to seal it might not work very well.

Does the job, but beware

This does the job of keep out draughts, insects but it can make to window or door harder to close, especially if the gap to fill is on the smaller side. Excellent instructions and best to follow them. I do use it to also quieten a door that closes noisily in the door frame.I personally use Raven's other product RP48 more often than these RP59 as it doesn't share as much of the issue of making the door / window hard to close.

Good for doors, not so much for sash windows

Used this to seal exteral doors by placing a strip along the surface which the door shuts against. Stops door rattles and the cold wind very effectively. Much better for this than the foam strips which degrade over time. Have also tried this product on old sash windows, between the top and bottom unit, but unfortunately it pulls of when after opening and closing the window a few times. It would benice to find something which worked for this.

Great if you never want to be able to open your windows again!

Bought this a year ago, now the windows are sealed shut, can't open them. Both sides of the tape have adhered. Might be the worst thing I've ever bought in terms of how much damage and trouble it's caused.

Not good for noise reduction

I bought this to make extra seal for the window, as I live next to a busy street, but it does not help with noise reduction at all

Perfect, but mind the gap

Before you buy any of these it's important to measure the gap when your window or door is closed. The base part of RP59 is 2mm thick, the notches on top add another 2mm. If your gap is 2mm or less, this might get tight, as other reviewers have noticed.In our case there was a noticeable reduction in outside noise coming in, so it was perfect. Easy to install too. Just make sure to clean the surface before.

Rubbish product!

Bought this today (May 2020) and after attaching to door my door wouldn’t close shut properly! I then took it off and it removed my paint!! It is the correct mm size as I triple measured before purchasing. Disappointing.

Terrific products from an Australian family business

I used the RP48 around the doors and RP60 on the bottom of the doors.What a difference it made to the comfort inside my house. I never realized how effective these two products would be in not just stopping draughts and bugs but reducing my energy bills. I hardly use the air conditioner anymore which is a huge bonus.

Too bulky for advertised gap width

Does the job but needs cutting to fit gap, otherwise the door doesn't close. There is only a 0.5mm leeway instead of the advertised 2mm. Save your money and buy the cheap foam option.
