I purchased this game for my niece for Christmas. Although she has not seen it yet, I know she will be thrilled as she has quite an imagination and will be "enchanted" with it!! I will provide an update after she receives this gift. Happy Holidays.

My 7 year old son loves this game. My 5 year old daughter seems to get frustrated and turns to cheating- every time. I had to leave suddenly after Christmas to take care of my folks so the kids learned to play while I was gone. When I got back they were able to teach me how to play it without any problem (except for the cheating). I am finding that I seem to appreciate the cooperative games (the Orchard) better as it doesn't give rise to ANY of the issues we find with this one. That said it's a fine game. My kids haven't yet been exposed to many fairy tales so that just goes over their head and I'm sure would make it all the more meaningful if they did have those associations. Glad it's in our game list for when we want to brave the field of competition and strategy.

This was a great replacement set for the classic Enchanted Forest game! All the pieces were in excellent condition. It was great to see the classic "hat-wearing" figures!

Always looking for a unique game that appeals to the imagination. This did not disappoint! Also love that the playing pieces and dice are wood. Wonderful quality.
Fun, perfect matching game for two, or for the entire family! The game can be played as a cooperative game if that is what you are looking for, or it can be as competitive as you want. We bought it for a Christmas gift for our daughter's family, but now we are seriously considering buying it for ourselves!
This game starts as a simple memory game, but gets more complicated the more trees you look under. The object is to find the picture that matches the key card at the castle. However, the key card can change as you make your way to the castle. This game involves counting, memory, strategy and a bit of enchantment! It's also fun to read the fairy tales that match the key cards at a later time.
Oh man do we love this game!! Me and my daughter (10 years) love playing this game! As always Bella Luna Toys has fast shipping, neat packaging and is such a big reason why I continue to shop with them.
Bought this for my son who loves fairytales. It's slightly disappointing in that there are no characters as movers on the board. He kept saying that he wanted to be Puss in Boots but the movers are just normal pawns. Overall the game play is OK but a bit long winded for a child. He's played with it once and not touched it since.
The old Revell kits remind me of my childhood. I am now more experienced and able to build a better finished product, unlike my youth. The decals even worked, to my surprise. When you are retired, things go slower and you can be a much better model builder. So don't get in a rush and enjoy the results.
We simplify the rules slightly for playing with our 5 year old, but we even enjoy this game ourselves with the full rules. It's both challenging and accessible, depending on how you decide to play. I didn't have high expectations at all for another children's game in our collection, but this has very pleasantly surprised us. It's like a seek and find/memory game. Super engaging the entire time!
