This is a great value glove. I am a father of a softball pitcher and needed something that was a good utility glove for catching practice and fielding practice. Great deep pocket, easy to break in (maybe three weeks until it felt its best), and so far can handle the daily toils of practice and catching. Very happy with the color, sturdiness, and break in. Looking forward to many more memories with this glove.

I've been using a 14" softball fielders mitt for outfield for years, just recently got put at first in a mens baseball league and was struggling. Picked up this new first basemans mitt and its like night and day. Great deep pocket, super soft leather, and only took a day of malleting and a few days of playing catch to really break things in. I bought a Renegade R9 at the same time and sent the R9 back. The player preferred was able to break in with 2 in the pinkie and form a great two point hinge. Overall I'm loving this mitt, would be a great glove for any high schooler or adult league player.

Great glove! No break in time needed. 12u player took to it quickly with out issues.
I bought this glove for my 7 year old son who wants a 1st baseman's glove really bad. This met the price point and being a rawlings i knew it would be good quality. This glove doesn't disappoint for a entry level price and feels like high quality.I gave it 4/5 stars only because we haven't used it much.
The glove is well-made & looks durable. The lacing, especially where 2 lacing ends are tied, some of them won't stay tight without using some rubbing alcohol to soften the leather. This is why it didn't get the 5th star.
I got this for my 15 year old son who plays 1B for his team when the regular 1B pitches. It was pretty much game ready after he warmed up using it. Moldable enough to break in the way he likes to close his glove. Great value for the money. If he played 1B more I would have got him a more expensive glove.

Rawlings glove is made with great leather and that made it easy to break-in. I had my son pay for half of the glove so that he has skin in the game and work harder. Since then he has made great plays at 1st and can’t put the glove down.
