[Rewarded Review] A Step Forward in Privacy, Yet a Leap Need
The Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer smart glasses represent an intriguing foray into the realm of augmented reality, bringing with them the promise of a future where our digital and physical worlds blend seamlessly. The approach to privacy is commendable; the inclusion of a privacy blink feature ensures that those around the wearer can feel at ease, knowing when the glasses are recording. This thoughtful design choice reflects a deep understanding of consumer concerns about privacy in an increasingly surveilled world. However, despite the collaboration with Meta, the product falls short of its potential. The AI assistant, while a novel addition, currently offers limited utility. Basic functionalities such as time-telling are covered, but for a product positioned at the intersection of technology and lifestyle, one would expect more. The lack of compatibility with a wider range of applications, particularly popular ones such as WhatsApp for sending voice recordings, feels like a missed opportunity. Given Meta's resources and expertise, the expectation was to have a more robust ecosystem of apps and functionalities that leverage the assistant's capabilities to the fullest. On the plus side, the glasses fit well and are stylish, living up to the aesthetic legacy of the Ray-Ban brand. The transition from clear to G15 green lenses not only adds to the visual appeal but also enhances usability in varying light conditions. However, for a product aiming to carve out a niche in the competitive smart wearable market, aesthetics alone won't cut it.In conclusion, the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer smart glasses are a step in the right direction, especially in terms of design and privacy considerations. However, to truly revolutionize how we interact with technology on a daily basis, a significant expansion in functionality and app ecosystem is imperative. With Meta's involvement, the bar is set high, and one can only hope that future iterations will fully realize the potential of this promising platform.... Show more

[Rewarded Review] Awesome product
Having owned the previous model and this one I can say that the battery capacity upgrade is the biggest plus and the most noticeable improvement. These will be the future of AI and wearable technology ability to take a picture and get feedback on the content is truly Remarkable. It’s a very very easy set up and there’s no reason to be overwhelmed by how to use these. It is very intuitive... Show more

[Rewarded Review] Cool glasses
Really cool and easy to use. I have 2 pair for myself and I use them all the time. The quality is amazing!! I’ve used them to create videos and take pictures!! Listening to music on them is also a plus. I do it when I’m shopping with my fiancée and she never notices because the sound isn’t loud enough to disturb anyone... Show more

[Rewarded Review] Cool Glasses
Wish they would last a while longer (charge wise.)I bought them for work, I’m a plumber and it so easy for picture taking and video calling. If I need parts or need tools I can send video and pictures to my shop and a shop guy comes with supplies I need for the job. Great investment for any contractor, plumbing, electrical technicians as well as a big company to have these glasses. They’ve came in handy so many times they have paid for themselves already.... [Rewarded Review] Good but needs some refinement
They are good for taking pictures and videos where you don't or can't hold your phone. Like I've used at adjustment parks on rides. Biggest downside is the battery life is very short and the video recording times. The battery can be ok if you don't mind carrying the case with you as it will charge in the case fairly quick about 3 times. Fully waterproof would be another great option so it can be used at water parks and the beach.... Show more

[Rewarded Review] Great product but needs the meta view app
There were a couple of things keeping this from 5 stars. The main one is that it is not explicitly said how important the meta view app is to use the glasses. Anything to do with the camera requires the app. The cameras are simialr to an iphone 6s. Not great by todays standards but for a camera on your face exceeded my expectations. It is good to note as well that there is only one camera. The other camera looking part is a small led that lets people know you are recording. So when taking a picture it is always slight off from center. The microphones are very good and pick up sound all around you when taking video. The speakers can then play it back in a spatial audioesque way that is very good. While also doing a good job at isolating your voice. The batery life ... Granted the only time I’ve had them conpletely die is when live streaming. They advertise 4 hours of battery but this is longer if you put them in the case while in the shade. When lice streaming using the meta view app battery is drained very quickly. I got about 2% per min with no audio playing just live streaming. The changing case is very nice leather and acts like a normal case charging the glasses through contacts in the nose bridge. If these ever go in sale I would recomend getting them. Its fairly niche but the audio is good enough to justify it alone. I got transition lens with mine to be able to use them more and there great but it was not worth it. With regular lenses its more worth it. Again if it goes on sale I would say get it. Especially since raybans has many different models that are more expensive than these. Except these have added functionality.... Show more

[Rewarded Review] Improvement over last model and useful.
Good so far. Very responsive and taking advantage of asking AI questions via voice command.Had the previous generation and this is definitely an upgrade on battery, sound, and connectivity.Gotta admit that battery is last longer than last model but still sometimes feels like it drains quicker. I guess every user's answer will vary.Giving a 4 because of battery.... Show more

[Rewarded Review] Nice Tech Shades
First pair of Smart Glasses. Takes some adjusting to get the ideal picture and video with them. Video recording is 60seconds. Must download the app to get them from your glasses to your phone. Battery life to be determined still. Not really good at night.... Show more

Ray-Ban's iconic style and tech awesomeness make them a must-have accessory. Pricey? Perhaps, but the features make every cent worthwhile for the tech-savvy crowd.I'm over the moon with my Ray-Ban Meta glasses. They've landed in my eyewear collection, which is large enough to give any influencer a run for their money. What sets these glasses apart isn't just the tech; it's the craftsmanship.Take, for instance, the temple. If you're wondering, that's the part of your sunglasses that hooks over your ears. In the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, it's where all the magic happens, housing the batteries, chips, and other tech gizmos that power these futuristic specs. It's clear that Ray-Ban has put some serious brainpower into this part. But, in the wild world of eyewear, I've learned a few things. The eyewear industry, largely ruled by Luxottica, plays the "made in Italy" or "made in China" game, but they claim the quality is top-notch no matter the origin. Now, while the materials here are great, I noticed a minor hiccup with the temple – a bit of sharpness where the two pieces meet.Don't get me wrong; the overall craftsmanship of the Ray-Ban Meta glasses is out of this world. They've seamlessly blended iconic design with space-age technology. But, that pesky temple issue means I'll be making a return and exchange. No one likes sharp edges on their futuristic gear!If you're on the hunt for fresh smart eyewear, the Ray-Ban Meta collection is an attractive choice. Just make sure your pair is free from any manufacturing quirks.... Show more

[Rewarded Review] They got it right this time
This 2nd iteration of Ray Ban smart glasses is so much better than the original Stories. These Ray Ban Meta’s work perfectly. Video quality is great and perfect for social media. The audio sounds great. Let’s me capture moments and film content hands free. The only thing I wish was better was that the transitions got a little darker. The battery life is good enough for me. I turned off the “Hey Meta” function to save battery and it works longer. Case is great too. I definitely recommend it to people that want it for social media filming.... Show more
