Ray-Ban RX5228 Eyeglasses 2012 Havana

Second pair for me! Recently had my prescription changed and thought I wanted something different but nothing was as comfy as my raybans... so I bought the same style just different colour and couldn't be happier.Brilliant glasses, durable (nothing wrong with my old pair really after 2 years+ worn every day!) , fit really well and comfortable!

Ray-Ban is my favorite eyewear company for both eyeglasses and sunglasses. The company has a long and interesting history. As such, their eyewear has been mastered throughout the years in terms of both quality and style. I have owned many pairs of Ray-Ban eyewear and find the materials to be durable. To date, I have never had a Ray-Ban product break. The company has an abundant amount of eyewear available in various styles and colors and most products can be customized. My favorite Ray-Ban products include their Aviator Sunglasses and Erika Optics Eyeglasses. The pricepoint is higher than competitors but it is still fair, and the products do last a long time if properly taken care of. The only downside associated with the brand is that it was bought by Luxottica ... MoreRay-Ban is my favorite eyewear company for both eyeglasses and sunglasses. My favorite Ray-Ban products include their Aviator Sunglasses and Erika Optics Eyeglasses. The pricepoint is higher than competitors but it is still fair, and the products do last a long time if properly taken care of. The only downside associated with the brand is that it was bought by Luxottica Group in 1999 and currently, Luxottica Group’s Customer Service is inadequate. I recently purchased a pair of sunglasses and received a used pair that was smeared and dirty. It was a fight to get them to accept a return despite the fact that I had not gotten what I paid for (a brand-new pair of sunglasses) and it took them nearly a month to ship out another pair. Upon receipt of the second pair, I realized that the sunglasses were in worse condition than the first and, to my horror, had hair stuck in the frames. My concern was not handled professionally as I was originally denied a return and refund. Eventually, upon threatening to file a dispute with my credit card company, I was able to send the sunglasses back for a second time. Not surprisingly, I did not receive my refund until one month later despite Luxottica Group being in receipt of them. I understand that financial losses due to returns of goods is becoming a problem for companies, but from an ethical standpoint, returned goods should not be sold to consumers at full price without disclosure. This is especially true for eyewear as diseases can easily spread. (Additionally, given the amount of inauthentic Ray-Ban products being produced and sold, a dishonest customer could easily purchase an authentic pair from the website and switch it out with an inauthentic pair.)

I really like these glasses. I was contemplating on getting polarized and or nonpolarized, a friend said, "If you're going to spend that much money on glasses and plan on keeping them, why wouldn't you spend the extra for polarized." So I bought polarized, I am glad I did! These are some really good glasses, people compliment me on them. These are just some classic glasses, I am glad I invested in a good pair of frames. Btw I bought the 52 mm, but it was a tad too small, so I upgraded to 55 mm (see picture below.) After buying quality glasses, I will start purchasing products based on quality instead of price. I take MUCH better care of these glasses, no telling how much money I wasted on all the other glasses!

Favorite discontinued color frame

I have these frames for my prescription glasses, and a backup pair. Ray-Ban doesn't carry the tortoise with blue any longer, so continue to re-use my frames but the backup pair are getting fragile. I got these to replace them the next time I get new lenses. Great price, quick shipping, absolutely perfect and just what I'd hoped for. Thanks for helping me keep my favorite glasses going!

GREAT,

I was leery about buying prescription glasses online. This is a good vendor. The process was easy. I singleqoute m very happy with my glasses, but the price of the frames were the same on many sites. There singleqoute s no impitus to buy them here.

I could not ask for anything more!

I purchased the RayBan 5228 in color 2000, size OS. Everything about this purchase was shear perfection! EZ Contacts website is very user friendly. They shipped my frames lightening fast! I happened to hit the website when they were having a sale so my price was unbelievable. I actually wondered if there had been a mistake and only half expected to receive them! I could not be happier and I highly recommend them. Shop with confidence their RayBans are authentic!

Perfect for a photographer

I have been trying to schedule an eye exam with lens crafters to get a new prescription but because of the Corona Virus all my appointment had to be moved or cancelled. Fortunately I had a prescription previously from lens crafters and it wasn’t expired. I have a very high grade for both eyes and I have astigmatism so I was a little anxious if the glasses would turn out right or not. I badly needed glasses so I ordered these glasses with the prescription I had from a year and a half ago. I’m nearsighted so I chose single vision with the highest index. The package took a little longer to arrive than estimated. It took 16 days for the glasses to be completed and delivered. The package was safely delivered and it was in perfect condition. The frames fit so well and ... MoreI have been trying to schedule an eye exam with lens crafters to get a new prescription but because of the Corona Virus all my appointment had to be moved or cancelled. I was able to use it for a graduation photoshoot the following day it was delivered and I was so very pleased with the glasses. I highly recommend getting glasses from GlassesUSA if you have your prescription. Anticipate that there might be some delays in shipping because of the Corona Virus.

cool specs

These are my 4th or 5th pair of RayBan glasses, aside from sunglasses, and I really like them. I had been casually searching for new glasses for a few months, then saw these on a friend (don't worry, he lives a few time zones away so no one will bust me for being a poser). I immediately searched them and ordered. The blue/black striation is downplayed from what it looks like in the pictures, so it is much more subtle -- which I appreciate. The shape is a bit larger from that which I typically gravitate towards, but it's a good change. I opted for middle-of-the-road lens treatments, which seem to be working fine. The one downside of ordering online is that you don't get a custom adjustment, but what I've found with Ray-Ban acetate frames is that they are constantly ... MoreThese are my 4th or 5th pair of RayBan glasses, aside from sunglasses, and I really like them.
