This unit is at the lower helm that is used less than the flybridge. She is interfaced to a larger Axiom Plus as well as the Radar, AIS, sonar, autopilot and IP cameras. She interfaced without difficulty. The cost savings is nice since the second unit will share pretty much everything the master unit has attached including the data card. The interface is built in and is easy as plugging in a cable, since that’s all you have to do. Nice unit, does what it advertises and some.

The Axiom 12” MFDs I purchased were easy to install and worked right out of the box. The units are clean and easy to see in bright sunlight and although there are many options when configuring the system, operation is still very intuitive.

Axiom 12 plus, bit of setting up initially but very intuitive being app based. The bottom structure and fish definition is exceptional with the RV-100 but again spending the time to get the transducer mounted correctly then tuning out the noise is essential. If your in the nz/au area then turn off the differential settings in the GPS to get reliable and consistent positioning information.

First year using my new Dual 12" Axiom+ RV. Truly a Game Changer! Auto-Routing is a fantastic feature along with endless options. Very intuitive. Bright clear displays coupled with fast processing speed and clear depths make these MFD a great addition to my Marquis..! Bravo Raymarine!
Purchased the Axiom+ to replace a 13 year old navigation unit for a new to me boat. The Axiom+ slotted in with minimal technical fuss with OEM depth sounder/ fish finder, which provided the flexibility to upgrade the depth sounder at a convenient time. The Axiom+ has turned out intuitive as I saw with the demo models, and works seamlessly with Navionics card. The unit is the corner stone of my plans to modernise the electronics on the boat, with plans to integrate new sound system and battery management system. My only wish I had the dashboard space for a larger unit!
I just purchased an Axiom+ 12 MFC to replace my 20 year old RC 80 chart plotter. The older monitors have an aspect ratio of 1:1 mounted in square holes. The new wide screen monitors have an aspect ratio of 16:9. The two vertical brackets provided will not work because the opening is too large vertically, but two horizontal brackets would work because I have to make the opening wider. Would Raymarine consider providing horizontal brackets?
Like the versatility of the Axiom unit. Lots of options. Clear display and quick loading. What I had trouble with was the dock-to-dock features. Any route more than a couple of miles caused zillions of waypoints and jumbled the screen or failed to resolve at all. Disappointing feature for sure for me. Might be operator error, frankly, but don't think so.
Sailing (just ghosting along as today was a light wind day) and very sunny. Brand new and the screen cracked in less than one hour. No one was even around it. Seems it got hot from the sun and cracked. Are you kidding me?
Installation is beautiful and daylight viewing is amazing. Menu and functions take some getting use to but it’s a marked improvement over our older RayMarine system. Note, it interfaces with the newer digital output radar so be prepared for that as well.
good software but item is a little flimsy;advertised as 12 inch screen but that is the outside dimension of case not screen - a little misleadingdata plug from radar was very, very tight - almost afraid of breaking unitdata card slot guide i.e. black "lips" fell off with rubber boot!my 5 year old raymarine mfd was more robust and really 12 inch screentech support is good
