If you like Razer, you'll love this.It is by far the best mousemat Razer has made so far, so much so that we have two now. It has excellent RGB lighting using their Synapse software and a great control texture for your gaming mouse.In terms of fading or aging, our 12 month old mat has barely started to show signs of fading and spends every day in a sunny window uncovered - pretty impresive for a matte black finish (pun not intended). It is easy to clean with any damp cloth.The first unit we purchased came quite hard to lay flat out of the box and had damaged RGB elements, Razer was fantastic and replaced it free of charge right away. If you do decide to buy this I reccomend leaving it laid out flat on a desk with moderately heavy books on top to flatten it out for twelve hours before using (as it comes rolled up in the box and might look warped when taken out). If yours does, its not broken! Just give it time to relax and get used to your gaming setup.

I like this product! The surface is nice and smooth. I own the Goliathus Chroma Extended and it’s spacious! There’s enough room for my keyboard, wrist rest and mouse. Unlike other mouse pads I’ve had, the edges don’t tend to peel off. The main issue that I have is the RGB only has a few options with the most basic synapse profiles and can only be one color at a time. Other than that, this is one of my favorite Razer product!

Colourful, large and beautiful, but wish the lights were addressable and the edge warps over time.

The mouse pad material itself is thick and padded, very nice quality and great performance in games and image design. I clean it every month or so with a wet towel and soft cleaning agent, as it shows skin rubbing or dust quite clearly.The edge lighting is nice enough, however the entire edge is one single light - it's not addressable all the way around, just the one light that can turn different colours or intensities. I hope a future version is individually addressable all the way around.One thing i've noticed after some time is that the edge LED wire is warping inside the threads that keep it in place, lifting up at the edges of the pad particularly around the wire box at the top-left - which means the edges of the pad doesn't lie perfectly flat. Great for balance and response.Lets down in lights

This is a really high quality mouse pad which is evident from the fact that it is made by Razer. The name alone dictates quality and beauty. This mousepad has a highly responsive surface and helps detect the slightest of movements on a high DPI gaming mouse.I love the Razer Synapse system which allows me to configure exactly how I like the lighting on my machine and peripherals. However the Synapse system on this mousepad disappoints in that area. At a time, the whole border can only be of the same color. I was looking for a progressive rainbow color cycling throughout the edges of the mouse pad, such that all 7 colors are visible on the mousepad at once and move in a clockwise or antclockwise direction. I have watched numerous video reviews on this product and I must say, it meets my expectations which are pretty high. The flexibility of the mouse pad with added edge RGB is genius. Razer is always made stellar products and this is just icing on the cake. I love the length of the mouse pad, but, I would like to say that I wish the mouse pad itself was a little wider to cover more surface area on my desk. I like to game with my mouse more forward on my seat, this in turn forces me to move the mouse pad and the keyboard which puts my keyboard in an awkward position when it comes in regards to my gaming preferences. Other than that very slight caveat this product is outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone even if you’re not a gamer. If you already have razer products and just want to add that extra bit of RGB to your desk setup then sure, why not buy this one.It is really nothing special. First let me say, before you look at the price and swipe on, take note of the key words - GOLIATHUS and EXTENDED. This is NOT a standard size mouse pad you would find at your grandma's computer desk. This mouse pad is 11 1/2 inches in length by 36 1/4 inches wide! (In metric the dimensions make sense) So measure your desk space before you purchase to see if you need the model one size down, the Goliathus Chroma.This mouse pad on the mouse side is micro-textured cloth material which feels a lot like the material to a wet suit divers wear. On the desk side (under side) is a patterned rubber which prevents the mouse pad from sliding around. Lined around the entire mouse pad is what looks like a fiber optic cable which is stitch sewn into the pad. [Rewarded Review] Good Large Format

Good large format mousepad with RGB. Lighting seems to be diffused in such a way where some of it does not seem to fully have the lighting affect.That being said the RGB is solid and a nice touch. Could be better with a USB port or two on the connector to the pad.I would probably replace it with a non RGB variant in the future as the RGB is not a necessity and it takes a USB port.

[Rewarded Review] Great mousepad, great size.

It is a great mousepad for the price. It lights up on the sides and you can change the color and patterns using the razer software. Unfortunately the filament on the sides that light up are a bit brittle. While playing VR I bumped into it with one of the controllers and it cracked, it no longer functions as intended.

love what works; disappointed at what doesn't

I've had many Razer products the past 15 years. I love the RGB chroma lighting of peripherals. This specific item I received doesn't perform all the synapse effects (as is common of many Razer chroma products) BUT some simple functions don't work at all, such as merely being static blue. I have all the chroma mats/pads, and it seems the strider has hardware compatibility issues with multiple other components, but I like the "hybrid" surface. Goliathus soft surface (any of the three sizes) are suboptimal for mouse performance but usually sufficient, just get dusty/dirty VERY easily/frequently. After trying every configuration possible in my setup for the Goliathus (usb ports, order, type, daisy-chaining, excluding other devices, synapse trial/error, etc.) the pad ... MoreI've had many Razer products the past 15 years. (Trust me, it's not due to my rig!) It accomplishes the most important lighting options for me personally, but the quality control definitely needs improvement! The lights are quite satisfying when they work. This product seems to be sold out everywhere except the direct R store and potentially WM third parties, but at a 50% price increase either way. If you are just wanting A mousepad.. I'd definitely recommend something different. If you want to extend your setup like I did, this may be worth a try, if you can even find it anymore. I don't intend to return, but am disappointed that some of my themes render the pad lights completely off. Even if fully functional, $60 seems unreasonably high to me for a MOUSEPAD (though strider was a ridiculous $140).. but then not even being fully functional.. well, again, check alternatives first. It depends on your intentions, priorities and budget, but in general, I'd give it overall more of a NO than a YES for recommending. Also, a common complaint of this soft surface is that the whole pad doesn't stay flat, just fyi. FireFly1 had pealing issues, FireFly2 (hard) is great until the common complaint that the center wears down till the mouse can't recognize traction. The non-chroma mats perform better for a mouse, but are not "as fun" (individual discretion). Razer has yet to offer a high-performance pad WITH chroma, and without a common flaw; hopefully they'll get one right eventually. Hope this helps!
