[Rewarded Review] Best computer chair I have ever owned

I can compare the Razer Iskur V2 gaming chair to the only two computer chairs I have owned previously. The first was an inexpensive chair that did not last long. Its functioning was adequate, but I never felt completely comfortable in it.By contrast, the Razer Iskur V2 Gaming Chair is an absolute dream, everything I hoped for in a computer chair. It is extremely solid and very heavy. The directions recommend assembling it with a partner because the individual sections are so heavy. I managed the assembly on my own without difficulty, although I can see why they recommended having two people assemble the chair. Assembly was actually very simple and straightforward; basically, you simply insert the wheels into the wheel rack, insert two pieces into the center of the wheel rack, remove four bolts in two places (the directions say "loosen," but you need to remove the bolts completely) and then re-insert and tighten the eight bolts after attaching parts. Razer supplies a tool for removing and tightening the bolts and even a pair of gloves to protect your hands while doing this. A piece of cake.My favorite part of the directions was on the inside cover of the box containing the chair (see photos). The portion of product directions that contain warnings is typically dull beyond words. The warnings for how not to use the Razer Iskur chair showed a sense of humor not normally encountered. Most importantly, I could instantly feel the difference between this chair and the expensive office chair I used previously. The Razer Iskur is infinitely more comfortable. It has better lumbar support, the arms adjust easily forward or backward, and the controls for raising and lowering the chair and for adjusting the tilt of the back work effortlessly and flawlessly. For a nice added touch, Razer supplies a soft pillow for the top of the chair that supports my head. I have never experienced such comfort in a computer chair, and I hope to keep this one for the next 20 years, when I am in my 90s.

You'll need to unscrew them and re-screw them to make the attachments during the installation, but it leaves no room for guess work like most other installations, where you're wondering if you're working with the right screw or not.I found the chair very comfortable but from reading other reviews, it seems very subjective for this chair. The chair's cushioning is definitely on the firm side, but that's not to be confused with hard. Your seat won't sink in much when you sit. If you prefer a plush, soft seat it may not be for you. When my mom tried the chair, she said it felt like sitting in a car, and I agree. And that's what I liked about the Iskur V2. But unfortunately, it made me disappointed that the caster wheels didn't have locks, so they're not the best to use out of the box from racing sims when used with pedals. The casters are replaceable but that's an additional cost for me, on top of the hefty price of the Iskur V2 to begin with, not to mention the stock casters would end up not being used if I replaced them. The material of the Iskur V2 is listed as EPU leather, which without getting into the scientific specifics, is faux leather. But it feels very premium as if it were leather. It feels like sitting in a luxury car. And the material makes it easy to clean for accidental liquid or food spills with a wet wipe. The armrest is listed as "4D" which I'm pretty sure means 4-directional. You can adjust the position of both armrests in 4 different directions:-left and right-away and close to you-up and down in height-diagonally inwards towards and outwards away from youfor each direction there are 3 fixed positions for you to adjust them to.I loved this because I can find a comfortable position to rest my arms and elbows when I'm playing long sessions. But what I didn't like is how rattly the armrests were because of its ability to adjust. I'm also suspicious of the material that the armrests are made of. The look and feel like the material on cheap office chairs I've used, and from my experience with those, over time and heat from sunlight from an open window, it cracks and peels. I can't say for certain the same will happen with the Iskur V2 because for all I know they're probably different materials, but it's something that's a concern for me. That aside, the armrests feel comfortable on the skin and for resting during long sessions. The headrest is extremely soft, plush, cool (temperature-wise), and comfortable. I could definitely fall asleep on it comfortably because it feels like a dream. The headrest's position is adjustable with an elastic band that's length adjustable. I found this inconvenient if people of different heights will be using the chair. But I feel like I may be able to use it as a pillow for flights or car rides. The chair folds all the way back to 152° according to Razer but it felt like 180° to my brain because of how comfortable I felt lying down on it when it was fully folded out. I could easily find myself sleeping on it if I had guests over and not enough beds. To make it even more comfortable I would just use it with an ottoman for my legs to rest, but for me being 5'9" my legs were still comfortable with the height adjusted. But what I absolutely loved is how I never felt like the chair would tip backwards while I was leaning back on the chair or lying down, even with my feet rested on my ottoman. It never felt like it would tip even when I leaning the chair back from its base. The weight of the base supports my weight well, and I weigh 187 lbs. There is a switch(? not sure what it's really called) on the left side under the seat that allows you to lock the position of the backrest from its base, and even when it's locked in the position where the back is fully lowered to its limit from the base, it never feels like it's going to tip backwards. It's such a great feeling knowing that I never have that worry. I just feel comfortable in the position I want it to be in and I can focus on gaming or whatever else it is I'm doing instead of fearing for my safety lol.The adaptive lumbar support is the highlight of this model and unfortunately it's a mixed bag. It's implementation is unique in that it's a partially floating and separate component from the rest of the backrest of the chair. This was intentional by design because it allows you to rock your back left and right instead of stuck in one fixed position, where you can also feel hot and uncomfortably stiff over time. There is a dial on each side of the chair that allows you to adjust the lumbar support. The left dial adjusts the lumbar support up and down the backrest, while the right dials adjusts how far the lumbar support extends outwards from the backrest. With the combination of both, you can find the precise position for the lumbar support to fit the specific curve of your back. And since it's adjustable, the chair can adapt to the curve of any user's back. The problem is, because of it's floating design, it feels fragile. I have concerns of its longevity. The warranty coverage is for 3 years, but it's only for certain parts, without mentioning which parts, so hopefully it covers the floating backrest as well. When adjusted to certain positions the chair creaks because of the design of the floating backrest, which I found annoying once I noticed it. Rocking my back left and right while lying down would also produce an unsettling pop from the lumbar support too. But when I used the Iskur V2 in my most common positions, which is upright during gaming, and slightly folded back while watching TV, it was silent and very comfortable. But for the previous issues I mentioned, I have a real concern about issues developing over a longer period of time. The Iskur V2 felt like love at first sight to me... until after the honeymoon. I would definitely recommend considering the Iskur V2 because it is very comfortable if it fits your preference like it did for me. Just take the issues I highlighted into serious consideration because you're making a sizable investment.

The seat is actually pretty wide and rather hard. The armrests can be adjusted into all thinkable positions, which is great, and once you have figured out the perfect armrest position, they stay looked (hooray!), meaning, it's quite unlikely you accidentally change them.On another positive note, the carton included a plush memory foam headrest that you can slide over the backrest and secure via a strap, which might be beneficial for not-as-tall-as me people. While I like the extra cushy headrest, I don't mind resting my head on the tall backrest without the "cushion". it's fine like that. The chair assembly was super-easy thanks to its step-by-step and easy-to-follow instructions (see photo). The chair was delivered in a very well-packaged 35" x 27" x 15" (89 cm x 69 cm x 37 cm) carton. Only a few parts needed to be put together (see photo). All necessary tools were provided and I was able to put all the parts together without an extra pair of hands within 20 minutes. Nice surprise: The carton also included a pair of gloves which served me well during assembly. I am now reusing these gloves in the gym.In summary: You can't go wrong with this high-quality chair for gaming and office duties. Your spine will thank you big time for getting this chair. That said, we should always remember that staying seated for an entire day is bad practice. I have made it a habit to get out of my chair every hour for about 3-5 minutes. Very highly recommended.

[Rewarded Review] Great Step up from V1

I have the V1 and while I like it overall, I’ve always thought that the curve of the back was a little too aggressive and that the seat feels like it tips forward a bit. With this edition they fixed both those issues and they also improved the bottom cushion to be more comfortable.Design is still sturdy and reliable. All the components feel heavy duty and durable. They changed the way the covers work to cover the brackets that hold the backrest to the seat rest so that it seems more sturdy and less likely to break. The right side on my V1 cracked and broke loose within a few months. It’s mostly aesthetic, but its good to see they fixed that issue. They have added some additional features for the lumbar support where the pad that gives that support can move both ... MoreI have the V1 and while I like it overall, I’ve always thought that the curve of the back was a little too aggressive and that the seat feels like it tips forward a bit. With this edition they fixed both those issues and they also improved the bottom cushion to be more comfortable.Design is still sturdy and reliable. The right side on my V1 cracked and broke loose within a few months. It’s mostly aesthetic, but its good to see they fixed that issue. They have added some additional features for the lumbar support where the pad that gives that support can move both forward and back to increase or decrease support, but it can also move up and down to add the support in different locations based on your height. It works well, but I did notice that since I don’t do a lot of support that it turns out to be a bit loose and can wobble a bit back and forth. Its not uncomfortable or anything and I got used to it pretty quickly, but it threw me off for a bit until I figured out what was going on.It recommends 2 people to set it up, but I did it by myself without a problem, but I could see someone that was younger, so not as tall, not as long a reach or maybe not as strong, might need a second person. All in all it only took me about 15 minutes to get the whole thing set up and I didn’t need any additional tools, they provided everything. The packaging was really well done and bordering on overkill, but it made sure everything came in pristine condition without any scratches or scuffs. The only thing that I really don’t get was that they included a set of gloves to “build it”. Not necessary and a bit quirky, but I guess maybe someone knows a good reason for it.Overall I really like this chair and it’s a good step up from V1.

Let me start by saying that I was extremely disappointed Best Buy did not have these chairs on display to try out, I mean come on its a 600 dollar chair. At first I was going to get the Enki and save some money HOWEVER........I went to some office stores that had chairs on display, office depot has a chair called the RS Gaming Vertex chair now i bring this up because the chair is identical to the original Iskur version with the independent lumbar support, I sat in that chair for an hour, pure bliss , total back support no back pain. That trip gave me a chance to try all kinds of chairs however i kept coming back to the "vertex" lumbar support and changed my order from the Razer Enki to the Razer Iskur V2. The V2 has superior lumbar control and support adjust in and out as well as up and down it moves with your back and the whole chair encourages good posture no pressure points for me no numb bum or legs either. In addition the V2 has lower side bolsters so as not to inhibit you from spreading your legs out a bit.Why didnt i get the office depot vertex and save 200 bucks? Good Question, while very identical the vertex had the higher side bolsters on the bottom of the seat and the lumbar support was made of a rubbery material which feels good on your back but unfortunately it SQUEAKS with the slightest of movement and i mean squeaks, this is not a problem with the materials used on the ISKUR V2 it's relatively quiet for a chair. The pillow is a nice touch not just for looks it actually feels good as a pillow. My only complaint: fake leather, vegan leather, its all CRAP compared to REAL LEATHER which is what you should be getting at this price point or a nice cloth option cuz as we all know the FAKE leather products will peel and fade over time, the chairs surfaces feel good for now, if i am wearing minimal clothing say no shirt or perhaps shorts and a tank, i put a towel over the chair to protect it from sweat. REAL LEATHER would not have this problem consumers really need to speak out on this problem. If lower back is your comfort concern definitely skip the enki and go for the iskur V2 you wont be sorry

The Iskur V2 is engineered to support long gaming sessions and extended office hours with its attention to detail in design and materials. The Razer Iskur V2 excels in the comfort department, particularly with its Adaptive Lumbar Support system. This feature sets it apart from many competitors. The lumbar support is adjustable and conforms to the natural curve of your spine, which helps to alleviate back pain and maintain good posture. It’s a significant upgrade from many gaming chairs that offer static lumbar cushions. The chair’s backrest is also designed with an ergonomic curve to support the entire back and shoulders. Combined with the plush, high-density foam cushioning, it offers a good balance between firmness and softness, which is crucial for long periods of sitting. The Iskur V2 also features a multi-layered synthetic leather covering, which is both durable and easy to clean. The material is designed to be breathable, which is a nice touch to prevent overheating during intense gaming sessions. The Iskur V2 comes with 4D adjustable armrests, allowing you to move them up and down, forward and backward, side to side, and rotate them to find the perfect position. This customization helps in reducing strain on your shoulders and wrists. The chair includes a tilt function with a lockable tilt mechanism. You can tilt the chair backward and lock it in place, which is ideal for those who like to lean back while gaming or working. The tilt tension is adjustable, allowing users to set it to their preferred resistance level. The seat height is adjustable via a gas lift mechanism, accommodating various desk heights and user preferences. The backrest can recline up to 139 degrees, which is great for relaxation or even a quick nap during a break. The build quality of the Iskur V2 is robust. The chair features a steel frame that provides a solid foundation and stability. The five-star base is constructed from reinforced nylon and includes smooth-rolling casters that work well on both carpeted and hard floors. In summary, if you are in the market for a high-end gaming chair that prioritizes ergonomic support and offers extensive customization options, the Razer Iskur V2 is worth considering. Its standout lumbar support system and overall build quality make it a strong contender in the premium gaming chair category. I highly recommend this gaming chair for those who are looking for a high quality product.

[Rewarded Review] Razer Iskur V2 Gaming Chair

I’ve been working on setting up a more comfortable desk for gaming and video editing and I needed a nice chair. As I am a larger guy, I appreciate that this chair is rated for up to 300 lbs. I’m about 25 lbs shy of that and this chair feels solid. Not that I would game with it fully reclined, but I did lay it back fully (152 degrees) and it felt stable, not like it was going to tip over backwards. I’m 6’4”and the backrest is plenty tall for me. I understand they offer an XL version for larger folks up to about 6’10” tall. The seat base and back has welded steel reinforcements and the tilting base under the seat appears to be constructed of a metal casting. I expect this will give it a long life. There are a myriad of adjustments that can be made to customize the fit ... MoreI’ve been working on setting up a more comfortable desk for gaming and video editing and I needed a nice chair. I understand they offer an XL version for larger folks up to about 6’10” tall. The seat base and back has welded steel reinforcements and the tilting base under the seat appears to be constructed of a metal casting. I expect this will give it a long life. There are a myriad of adjustments that can be made to customize the fit to your needs. The back reclines, the base tilts and can either be locked to limit its tilt or allowed to float so the tilt angle changes with your posture. This is handy to use as a rocking chair so you can knit a sweater while you wait for the next deathmatch to begin. There’s a knob underneath to set the spring tension for when the base is unlocked. There’s a lever that you twist to adjust the height of the seat, I wish the handle was a little longer on just that lever so it would be easier to set the height. If I don’t raise myself up off the seat when adjusting it lower I get about an inch drop for the quickest gentle twist I can give it. Sometimes that’s too much. For the lumbar support, there are two knobs on the side of the seat back. One adjusts the height of the support and the other adjusts how much or how little support it gives you. The armrests have adjustments for height, width, fore and aft position, and they can angle in or out. I like that the buttons on the armrests are unobtrusive so they won’t snag on clothes but are still easy to manipulate. The lumbar support is definitely the star of the show, the V2 chair’s lumbar is enhanced over the V1’s single lever adjustable lumbar.I assembled the chair by myself but I’m a professional, it might help to have an extra pair of hands if you’re not a pro like me.The seat back has a guide and a stop on one side so when you set it on, it aligns itself for you so you can get the bolts started. The other side just needs to be raised slightly to get the bolt holes aligned. There’s decorative covers that go on next and caps to plug the screw holes. There is a large instruction sheet included and a link to an assembly video if you’re more of a visual learner. The seat is covered in a synthetic leather. It has a bit of trim that resembles carbon fiber that looks great in my opinion. The cushions are firm, supportive, but I wouldn’t call them plush. Not sure that you would want plush in a gaming chair where you need support so I’m good with that. The armrests are lightly padded and have a contour I find comfortable. The base of the chair is metal and has five casters, my floor is carpeted so I have a chair pad over the carpet and the chair rolls as easy as any other on the pad.The chair included a pillow that attaches with an elastic belt. Very squishy memory foam and the cover is super soft.

TL:DR - The Razer Iskur V2 Gaming Chair is a great all around chair for a surprisingly large number of body types, just wish the pillow would stay put and it could drop a touch lower! (I’m 6’3”, 210lbs and I fit quite well)Overall I was absolutely stoked to replace my almost 18 year old chair from a big box store that everyone I knew seemed to have a variation of at some point. The Razer Iskur V2 seems like its going to be “extreme gamer” being that it is a razer product, and the meme-level warnings on the box don’t help either. Once you get all the parts out and the thing put together (I would consider myself “handy enough” and following the directions was easy enough, the videos were great) it seems quite premium and could pass as an unusually colored office ... MoreTL:DR - The Razer Iskur V2 Gaming Chair is a great all around chair for a surprisingly large number of body types, just wish the pillow would stay put and it could drop a touch lower! Once you get all the parts out and the thing put together (I would consider myself “handy enough” and following the directions was easy enough, the videos were great) it seems quite premium and could pass as an unusually colored office chair, without the head pillow of course. (While I’m on the topic, the head pillow is the main gripe I have, while it is soft and very comfy, it NEVER stays in place using the included strap)Overall the build quality is superb, the lumbar adjustments are great for those with back issues, and it fits a bunch of different sizes of people. (I had a mild back break a few years ago, and it didn't take long turning the side knobs to get the lumbar support in the perfect position for me) If I could change anything, I would have a better pillow attachment, and have the seat drop even a couple more inches. I still heartily recommend the Razer Iskur V2 Gaming Chair if you’re in the market for a high end gaming chair!

[Rewarded Review] UNIQUE LUMBAR SUPPORT DESIGN!

The Razer Iskur V2 is the latest new chair from Razer, and it is excellent! It appears to be extremely well made of high-quality materials and components. It has a very nice appearance. The Razer Iskur V2 has very firm padding. The immediate initial impression is that it is a “hard” chair. However, there is not a lack of padding, rather the padding is extremely firm. If you like a firm and supportive chair, the Iskur V2 will suit you well. If you want a soft, cushy chair you may not enjoy it. If you like a firm and supportive chair, the Iskur V2 will suit you well. If you want a soft, cushy chair you may not enjoy it. That being said, if you prefer a firm and supportive chair, the Razer Iskur V2 remains comfortable for long periods of continuous sitting and that is why it is so well suited to gamers, creators, programmers, people who work from home and anyone else who spends long intervals seated and wants to avoid the pains and aches which can commonly result. The Razer Iskur V2 is shipped disassembled, in a large and heavy (74 lb.) box. The manner in which the Iskur V2 is packed in the box is outstanding and very effectively protects the contents from shipping damage. When the box is opened the Assembly Instruction sheet, which is the full dimension of the carton, is encountered first. There is also an instructional video on the Razer website support page which demonstrates how simple and straightforward the chair assembly process is. Each major component, in addition to being wrapped in a plastic bag, is separated and protected by a sheet of EPE (Expanded Polyethylene) foam to minimize the likelihood of damage during transportation. A hex-wrench for use during the assembly process is included. Razer even includes a pair of gloves to protect the user’s hands while assembling the chair. The base of the chair is a wide, five spoke star design which is manufactured of cast aluminum finished with black powder coat. The 2.4” plastic casters snap in very easily and the pneumatic elevation piston and plastic telescoping piston cover simply slip into the base. The swivel mechanism needs to be attached to the underside of the seat (which is shipped with the armrests preinstalled) with four M8 machine screws (which are preinstalled and need to first be removed and then reinstalled) whereupon the seat assembly is slipped onto the top of the piston. The seatback is attached to the seat bottom with two M8 screws on each side (which are also preinstalled and require removal and reinstallation). Attaching the seatback would be a challenging operation but for the intelligent solution that Razer implemented. The seatback attachment bracket on the right side is a channel bracket so that the seatback can be easily slipped into place and remain stable while the screws are installed. There are plastic trim covers which are fastened with one M6 screw on each side. The final step is to place the head cushion on the seatback. The microfiber covered memory foam cushion is retained on the seatback with an adjustable strap. Some other gaming chairs have a magnetic attachment. The frame of the Iskur V2 is constructed of steel, which contributes to the 62 lb. weight of the chair. The Iskur V2 is heavy, but it also appears to be very well-built and “heavy duty”. The Iskur V2 is described as a “medium” size chair, and has a weight limit of 300 lbs. The recommended user height range for this chair is between 5’-3” and 6’-7”.The Iskur V2 is available with three upholstery options. There is a gray fabric version, as well as two variants with simulated leather. Those EPU (Expanded Polyurethane) versions are either all black, or the green accented version that I have which has green stitching and green logo ornamentation. The EPU has a very soft feel and looks very similar to genuine leather. EPU is an environmentally responsible fabric and is nicer than, and superior to PVC vinyl upholstery. It can be easily cleaned by wiping the EPU with a damp cloth. The Iskur V2 has significant adjustability for comfort, convenience and functionality.A lever under the right side of the seat allows approximately 4” of adjustment of seat height from approximately 17” to 21” above the floor. A lever on the right side allows reclining the seat back up to 11°. The chair reclines to a very significant 152° and can be locked in position with a lever under the left side of the seat. The amount of the recline/rocking resistance can be adjusted with the tension adjustment knob under the seat. The “4D” armrests can be raised and lowered with a range of approximately 5” (from approximately 8” to 13” above the seat), adjusted fore and aft, inboard and outboard and swiveled left and right. To prevent unintentionally moving the armrests, each adjustment requires depressing a lock-button to move the armrest. The most unique benefit of the Iskur V2 is the dynamically adaptive and adjustable lumbar support. While most gaming chairs provide a separate lumbar support pillow, or an adjustable retractable lumbar support protrusion which is internal to the seatback, the Iskur V2 has a very unique “floating” lumbar support section which operates somewhat independently of the seatback itself and provides 6 direction adaptability and adjustment. It moves and swivels with your torso when you shift your position or twist, providing continuous lumbar support that remains aligned with your torso.A knob on the right side of the seatback adjusts the amount of inward/outward positioning of the lumbar support protrusion. A knob on the left side of the seatback raises/lowers the lumbar support protrusion. The conformation of the seat and armrests is accommodating for people of various body sizes. While many gaming chairs adhere to the “bucket seat” design style with very large side bolsters on both the seat and seatback, the Iskur V2 has more conservatively sized bolsters which do not severely intrude on the sitting area like some other gaming chairs. Rather than feeling “squeezed” or confined in the seat and having the range of motion and freedom of the upper arms and the thighs being restricted by oversized bolsters, the Iskur V2 provides nice support, without being intrusive. Some of the important dimensions of the Iskur V2 are approximately as follows:Shoulder Width of Seatback: 20”Between Armrests: 17.5”Seat Width at the Bolsters: 16”Overall Seat Width: 21”Base Width: 27”Seat Depth: 18”Seatback Height: 34”Floor to Seat (Minimum): 17”Floor to Seat (Maximum): 21”Seat to Top of Armrest (Min.): 8”Seat to Top of Armrest (Max.): 13”The Iskur V2 casters are hard plastic which is generally intended for use with carpeted floors. Hard floor casters, which generally have a softer surface such as rubber or polyurethane, and are better suited to wood floors, tile or chair mats, are not offered by Razer. I am using the Iskur V2 on tile floors, and I have not experienced any problems. The Iskur V2 emanates a very potent acrid odor which may originate from the EPU faux leather, the internal foam padding or both. Many new products, including some furniture and mattresses also emit acrid VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). Generally, those offensive odors dissipate rapidly; within a few days. After more than ten days the Iskur V2 off-gassing remains persistent. The Razer Iskur V2 carries a three (3) year warranty for mechanisms and moving parts (not including wear and tear). Razer offers two (2) years of additional limited warranty under their extended warranty program exclusively to purchases made directly through the Razer.com webstore. Three years is a relatively short warranty period for a chair at this price point. Additionally, the other components such as fabric, stitching and foam padding should at least be warranted against manufacturer defects for some limited period of time. Furthermore, offering a longer warranty exclusively to Razer direct web order customers (which also requires the purchaser to post a photo on social media), can only serve to disenfranchise prospective customers who are purchasing through retail channels. I believe that purchases made through any Razer authorized retailer should receive the same five-year warranty as webstore purchases. The Razer Iskur V2 is a very nice chair! It is nicely designed and styled but avoids the excessively oversized bolsters that can be annoyingly restrictive of space and freedom of movement. The synthetic, EPU faux leather appears to be of very nice quality, and it certainly is soft to the touch. The green accent stitching is neatly done. I feel that the green accents (stitching and logo) are not “overdone” or obtrusive. They are tasteful compliments to the chair. The Iskur V2 is very firm, yet comfortable. The adjustment features optimize user comfort. Of course, it takes some experimentation with the numerous adjustments to select favorite, optimal settings. The very unique lumbar adjustment system, which dynamically conforms to user movement, is the best lumbar support that I have ever experienced! For the past several days, I have spent an average of approximately ten hours per day seated in the Iskur V2. I have found the Iskur V2 to be comfortable and supportive even for those extensive computer hours.People purchase gaming chairs seeking comfort during lengthy sessions. Thus far, the Iskur V2 has been very impressive in satisfying that need, providing good comfort and support coupled with style and performance.

[Rewarded Review] Well bit chair with only two detractors

The Razer Iskur is a comfortable and well supported chair that was extremely easy to assemble. Now I've assembled my fair share of furniture of the years, but Razer went above and beyond with this chair. For starters, all the screws were pre-inserted into the spots where they belonged. This meant now comparing a chart to a bag of screws and hoping you were working with the correct ones. It did take a moment to remove the screws for assembly, but Razer also included a great allen wrench in the box. It did take a moment to remove the screws for assembly, but Razer also included a great allen wrench in the box. The ball tip design and sturdy plastic handle made removing and installing all the parts a breeze. The comfort of this chair is top notch. The lumbar support feels natural and not forced. The two directions of adjustment also make it great for almost any back needs. The seat is unique in that it does not appear to have a wood plate like many other manufactures use, but instead works with a wire reinforcement system. I didn't dig too deep into the insides as I didn't want to ruin my chair, but it is different and comfortable. The adjustable back angle works, but I find myself not really adjusting it once I have the position I want, and that's not a bad thing.Where I will knock the design is the arm supports and the head rest strap. The arm support padding is very indifferent compared to what the rest of the market is using. It's passable, but when you've had memory foam arm rests, it's hard for the rest to compete. Also, because of the many degrees of adjustment on the arm supports, the undersides have some sharper edges. You won't really notice them unless you are gripping the arm, but they are there. I found the solution to both of these problems to be purchasing some memory foam office chair arm covers. I get my padding back and the underside is covered. As I mentioned, I also don't like the strap on the headrest. It's functional, but with where the buckle is, I foresee it damaging the chair material in the long run. The buckle would have been better positioned on the back side of the chair instead of on a seam. All in all, a great chair and it will be a welcome office addition in either your home or job.
