A must have for all Android phone users

For anyone that is curious, this device does fit the s23 series phones probably not the folds as im not sure with those. I currently use an s23+ and I did try to fit it on an s23 ultra and it's fine. If youre not a big fan of touchscreen only controls, this wonderful device has access t virtual controller mapping. This is very useful for games like genshin impact where Android users are locked out of actual controller use. The nexus app that you'd need to download also gives you access to cloud gaming services too. It does have a couple of macro buttons too though never bothered to use them. One thing I must say is as this product is that it keeps itself firm and attached to your phone so you won't have to worry about it loosening unless you're very forceful with it. Only con is pricing. I recommend looking around for a good deal as most razer products are fairly expensive... but if you must pay full price then go ahead if you're going to invest time using it.

I tried using it with a Rog Phone 8 which has an offset USB-C port so the screen was higher than expected, but that's not the issue, in fact it should (in theory) help with the issue. The real issue is that the back cameras have a big-enough bump that the telescopic backbone prevents a straight fit (I tried both rubber and plastic holders). When I tried an older phone, it fit fine and with the rubber holders. It was decent, but was still moving around a bit. In the end I returned it.For some games I tried, the game genie (Asus) key mapper was detecting this as a keyboard. Not sure if this was a game issue, key mapper issue (most probable), or controller issue. There might be a way to fix that, but since I had already decided to return it I didn't bother trying.

Size is good, it'll fit in most bags not designed specifically for one phone. So just throw it in a purse or backpack. At first I wasn't used to the size because it's smaller than and positioned differently from a standard controller. Get used to it quick though. One issue is that it isn't really meant to be used with phones with cases, I tried both pads with my phone case on, and it ended up unaligned. The buttons are alright, but the plastic they use can be better. Something more like keyboard plastic, which is less sticky or more smooth. The joysticks are... really small. Don't have a lot of movement. I prefer joysticks with a bowl-top and wider movement range. There are the M1 and M2 buttons which I find pointless. The only thing they do is act as another button ... MoreSize is good, it'll fit in most bags not designed specifically for one phone. So just throw it in a purse or backpack. The only thing they do is act as another button for an existing button. You can't remap them to work as a separate button. The Razer Nexus app that's meant for this could use some work with the remapping software too. The Kishi and Nexus aren't meant for mobile games, they're meant for games with console controller compatibility.

[Rewarded Review] Great controller
14 June 2024

It’s great. I just recently bought the iPhone 15 Pro Max so I do have a different charger now therefore I had to buy a new controller. I originally had the version 1 razer kishi for iphone which was great. This one feels so much better though, it’s very comfortable and I love the added mappable buttons. It also feels very sturdy which is great because I was worried it might be able to break easier since it doesn’t fold in like the version one did. My only complaint is that with an iphone, the razer nexus and capture buttons do not work. However, it’s not a huge deal for me because I can still easily screenshot or just open the nexus app. Would love to have those features though. I do love that they came with extra padding options as well because without it, my ... MoreIt’s great. I would definitely recommend this controller

[Rewarded Review] Great mobile gaming solution
6 March 2024

The Razer Kishi V2 is a great mobile gaming controller for Android users. It offers a console-like gaming experience with its high-quality buttons, ergonomic design, and low-latency connection. The Kishi V2 fits snugly on most Android phones, including the LG Velvet I use as a repurposed mobile gaming device. However, I have to report of my difficulty getting intermittent connection issues with my larger Galaxy S23 Ultra. It's a very snug fit but I still have to push in on the USB C end to get my phone to recognize the Razer's connection from time to time.Overall, the Razer Kishi V2 is a great option for gamers looking to improve their mobile gaming experience. Just keep in mind the potential connection issue with the S23 Ultra.

[Rewarded Review] Nice controller would be better if it worked with
6 January 2024

While this product is very nice and does function as promised it would have gotten 5 stars if it were PS Remote play compatible. While fluid with most mobile games it can be somewhat laggy in response at times but this could be due to a need for software updates on my android phone. I utilize this with a galaxy S23 Ultra which is a top tier phone and once you get used to the controller it works well. Again if your expecting seenless pairing with ps remote play you will be sadly disappointed. My work around for this was downloading a 3rd party app called ps play from playstore which cost 5.99 while it works well you are unable to play remotely away from your home network as you can with remote play app. Other than that the controller works as advertised.

Not a bad device for what it does. You are able to be swap pads to make it work for different devices. If with that i have to remove my case to use mh S22 Ultra. It work with the case if the USB C was a bit smalles. Not the end of the world but some cases become difficult to take a off. I even bought a thin speck case but it still did work right. If you like the way the nintendo switch joy cons work then will be satisfied with this controller. However, if you prefer the feel of the xbox or playstation controllers I recommend look at other options.I've noticed a bit more wear and tear on around the c port on my phone and sometimes you have to unplug and Plug the device it for it to read the controller.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the Kishi V2. I've been using it with the s22 ultra, and this work well with it. The usb c port on the right side only allows for charging, no data transmission. So it was a let down when I tried to run emulated games from a usb c flashdrive. Also I can see if you have bigger hands the triggers will be in a very uncomfortable position for you. My hands are on the smaller side and its a bit of a pain to use them for an extended amount of time.
