I think that this is a good scooter if you are just riding on a smooth flat surface. But to go along the road or a idewalk it can be a rough ride. The clearance is too low its very hard up and down small curb or driveways. It gets stuck or scrapes going over uneven surfaces .Even speed bumps in a driveway could make it stop. I wasn't impressed.it would be great for flat smooth surfaces

Do not even waste your money on this scooter! The scooter was fine and everything we hoped for until riding it outside and the handle bars came off. The handle bars can not be fixed it tells u all u have to do is tighten the screws but it doesn’t matter how tight the screws are the handle bar will still come off. There is nothing that really holds it in place. This was a Christmas gift and such a disappointment now I have to spend more money on getting another scooter smh. If u read reviews from other sites and not Walmart everyone seems to be having this same problem. If it wasn’t for that this would be the perfect scooter but it’s far from

Received two as gifts for our kids. One is working fine so far. The other is being returned because the back wheel is making a loud clicking sound — probably a bad bearing. Also, the throttle is super touchy (kind of goes from zero to full speed with a sudden jerk), which made my younger child scared to get on it at first. Eventually he figured it out, but for a child that’s very young or hesitant, this might not work.

If you're upgrading from a manual scooter to an electric scooter, get ready for a little more speed in your ride. There's a little bit of a learning curve, especially for kids. When you initially take off, there's a bit of a jump. It probably took me three times to get used to the jolt of take off speed. I recommend starting out on a flat surface (don't start going downhill). Make sure the scooter is fully charged (ours died after about 5-10 minutes of testing it out, but it had been sitting for a few days off the charger). It seems like a lot of fun and I definitely look forward to taking my daughter out on it more. She isn't a bike rider person, she's always preferred scooters. This will give her a chance to keep speed with us. Don't forget to wear proper safety ... I bought this for my grandson for Christmas so I haven’t opened it yet. However the box came extremely torn up and I videotaped it so when he opens it if there is a problem I will have proof.I bought my granddaughter one and I couldn’t be more pleased except little things are coming off after just having it for a month. Like the cover for on and off button. I have even thought of returning it for another one just so the imperfections are corrected but we obviously love it because we purchased another. It is great for the money but could have a few things made a little sturdier. ❤️
The other day I noticed my daughters rear tire was worn down to the plastic. I thought I just needed a new rear tire, but turns out the way this was designed, you have replace the entire rear wheel/motor/tire as it's 1 piece. Very disappointing. I now wouldn't recommend this scooter to anyone who plans on their child using it longer than a few months, as when you use the rear break, it just grinds down the tire until it's gone.
This has been amazing. We bought this for our youngest son who is 11. The Razor electric scooter is extremely durable. My son can go over any bumps and nothing gets wrecked on the scooter. The item says it can ride up to 40 minutes, but it seems much longer to us. Doesn't take long to charge up and it can run much longer than 40 minutes, depending on if it is in continued use. My son can ride this all around our neighborhood and can get places very quickly. This is a great scooter for any kid that enjoys the outdoors.
If I could rate it with a zero stars I would. this rating isn't based on the product but the overall experience of ordering it and receiving what I received. I heard this as a store pickup a few days before Christmas and felt lucky that I got one of the last ones in the area for my son. upon receiving the box it was a little beat up which was a bit disappointing but I thought "it's the last one and it's really what's inside that counts". I opened it on Christmas Eve to put it together for my son and quickly determined that this was a completely use scooter. The tires were one skin pad was completely worn off and not to mention it didn't work at all or power on. completely disappointing for my son in the morning. I don't even blame the person that "brick in the box" ... got this for my 7 year old for Christmas. since it was too cold to ride it, he had to wait until the spring to try it out. he only rode it a few times and came home crying because the wheel came disconnected while he was on it. This could've really hurt him. and I'm pretty upset because this was a lot of money for me to just go to waste. now it's too late to return it :( he's so upset because he was so excited about this scooter.
DO NOT BUY!!! I bought 3 of them for christmas 2 years ago we live in Minnesota so they couldn't ride them till may well after the first couple of times riding them they all atopped working. one the back tire locked up, one the motor just stopped woring, the other the thing wouldnt hold a charge. i called razor and all they would do is send me parts to fix it myself. i paid over 100 for each and lasted a week riding them so they sent me parts i installed 2 new motors and a back tire on, the 3rd they sent a whole new battery assemly thing i had to take all apart did that they worked for roughly a week and a galf and beoke down again. now if it was just one id say ok maybe a fluke but all 3 to break down replace all motors hardware back wheel made them brand new again ...
