Kids received 2 Hovertrax Prizmas for Christmas. Today both failed. Both board half light stuck on, on half the board. One even has a wheel that won’t stop spinning. Cannot force them to shutdown with hood of power button. Seems to be a safety issue. Hopefully the batteries just drain. Typically trust the Razor brand, needless to say, that is no longer the case.

My daughter(7yrs) has had this Hovertrax hoverboard for over a month now, and she is obsessed. She has even learned how to complete tedious household chores while riding on said hoverboard. I purchased this item on sale, and was weary at first of what the quality may be like…. But we have had zero issues at all. I recommend this hoverboard to anyone.

Excellent.The hoverboard was bought as a Christmas present for our Granddaughter who is 7years old. It's sturdy and with lights. It didn't take her long to master how to use it and is over the moon. Only used inside the house so far so cannot comment on what it is like outside and on uneven surfaces.

Very happy with these. Only used a few times but they are solid and fast. Feel decent quality. My eldest daughter fell off of one within 5 mins of using for the first time and landed badly (and was struggling to walk for two days after - but is fine now). Make sure they take it SLOW and don’t get too over confident on it straight away :-). Now they are zipping around the neighbourhood with no accidents and look like pros. I have no other hoverboards to compare these too but really happy with them
It was comical when I first stepped on the product (the kids were at school)..... and of course I am old and not used to these gadgets....I quickly realized that I needed more open space and to not try it on thick carpet. Once I got it on our thin downstairs area, it was fairly easy to get the hang of. It rides really smooth, unless you hit something or the battery is low. 😊 That is our only complaint is that we wish the battery lasted longer than 45 min. We have multiple kids that want to ride and 45 min. doesn't give them each much ride time. But they still love it and are now all planning on asking for their own Hovertrax for their birthday or Christmas so they won't have to share. Haha
I have always wanted to try out a hover board...I mean... my KIDS have always wanted to try one out. Yeah... the kids. I was not as coordinated or talented as I once thought....I mean... my kids weren't as coordinated. Once we got a little practice though, it was off to the races! The hovertrax prizma was incredibly fun to ride, and looks gorgeous! The multi colored lights make this look sleek and "cool" (according to my uncoordinated children). The kids actually picked up on it a lot faster than I did, but we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The board is heavy and feels durable. Charging is easy. We may have to buy a few more so we can all have one!

The blue color, lights, etc., give it the perfect touches for a 10 year old boy. As far as safety issues, he just was able to maneuver it so easily I was not worried about him falling. That was a relief. I believe that it is sized more appropriately for a young person and is a good weight, so that he was able to carry it around easily. He liked it so much he even took it with him when we went out for brunch the next day. I was very happy with the purchase. The price point was great. Shipping was free and it arrived within just a couple of days. It's my kids first time with Hovertrax, took them about an hour of practice (with my guidance) before they finally get a good grip on it. They practice for 3 days on training mode before we're confident enough to switch training mode to Normal mode. I would say that it's very important to read the Manual and follow all instructions and safety precautions, specifically if you're new to Hovertrax. Also balance and confidence is the major key. Once you master your balance SKY IS the limit! My kids are obsessed!!! Next step, learning tricks. ( fun!! )

It just lasted for a few days before it would just start beeping constantly after powering on. Calibrating does not help. Tried to contact customer support, but did not get a response. I even replaced the PC boards and calibrated again, but it keeps beeping.I guess I will have to buy a new hoverboard, which will definitely not be a Razor.
