The Razor powerwing caster scooter helps your children to get out and be active when they play. It has removable stability bars for the learning stage. This kids scooter is different from other models because instead of kicking off the pavement you rock your body from side to side to move, which requires more action and provides a deeper workout. The dual-inclined casters allow you to go in any direction. This product's foam grips make it easy to hold onto securely. The hand brakes help children to stop quickly and safely. Its urethane wheels can stand up to lots of regular use. It's made with a strong steel beam and lightweight, high-tech polymer wings.

This is such a fun toy for children and adults. One of my friends got one of these for Christmas a few years ago and after using it I wanted one. It has three wheels it’s easy to balance on and all you do is rock side to side with a little push and off you go

My son cannot ride a bicycle but he can use this and loves it. I actually had so much fun using it too. It’s built tough and rides so smoothly. Easy to use with no learning curve. I have to buy another one so we can ride them together. Great to take on the go too. Convenient to pack.

I ordered this item online. The shipping was pretty speedy, 3 days to be exact. I bought two , one for my 5 year old and one for my 7 year old. First off the title says red and black but it is most certainly orange and black. That wasn't such a big deal but if your kid really likes red that's a disappointment. They got the hang of it real quick. They are really cool to maneuver . They can complete 360 circles without even pushing with your foot. Overall I would highly recommend this product. All the kids at the birthday party thought these were so cool ,they all asked their parents for one. The only thing is the brakes are on the handle bar which is fine for my kids but if your thinking of getting this item for under lets say 4 I don't think they would understand ... MoreI ordered this item online. I'd say this item can be used for 4 1/2 to 10. After 10 I'd go with the deluxe model. Hope this helps.
I bought this for my niece's birthday because my son has a powerwing dlx that they all love! When it arrived, the box was beat up and had clearly been opened before and taped back together. The "wings" are cheap plastic, not metal, and the holes on the wings do not line up correctly with the frame, so the pins can't be pushed through. The plastic wings already had white stress lines, as if someone had tried to jam the pins through, but there was just no way. I thought the main differences between powerwing and DLX were the adjusting height, ability to fold, and the extra weight ability. I don't know if it was just the "sweetpea" design that had these flaws, or if we just got a lemon, but I recommend spending the extra for the powerwing dlx and don't waste your ... MoreI bought this for my niece's birthday because my son has a powerwing dlx that they all love! I bought this at my son's request for Christmas. We'll see how it stands up to actual use. The price from Walmart could not be beat! No other company was anywhere close. Product was extremely easy to assemble. It took me maybe 15 minutes including removing it from the packaging. Once assembled, the product appears to be well made of good, solid materials, and appears engineered to take a beating from your average child's use. My complaint would be to the shipping department at Walmart. There was no tape on the box, so the contents could have spilled out during shipment. Considering the assembly manual and two allen wrenches were in a bag on the side, that could cause a problem for someone without a decent tool set. Fortunately, mine came with everything inside in ... MoreI bought this at my son's request for Christmas. We'll see how it stands up to actual use. The price from Walmart could not be beat! I bought one of these years ago for my Granddaughter, she loved it. I bought one for my rough and tumble Grandson for Christmas. He rode it for the first time yesterday and was so thrilled, he came back in the house to tell me thank you again for his scooter! He then spent the next hour or so on it! I guess I would call it a huge hit!It is durable, fairly easy for the kids to figure out, great exercise and a great option to bikes, skateboards and skates. I love that it is kid powered and not electric or gas. Also, it is a great value.
Delivery was prompt. It came on time. It was packaged well, no dents or dings. Assembling it was a bit of a challenge. Attaching the steering wheel base to the main base was easy but lining up the screws to attach the wings was challenging. TIP: Using wiggle movement will allow the screw the slide in. Don't tighten the screws until all are in first. Screw them in just enough that they stay in place. Once all are in, then screw them securely. My son loves it. He's diagnosed with mild autism and it was easy for him to get the hang of riding it. The scooter is sturdy. I got on it and it held up pretty well. The scooter was able to glide smoother on paved cement like a sidewalk. Overall, the product is fantastic and is sure to keep the kids busy.
This scooter is fanstastic. It's sturdy and affordable, but the real draw is that it is just fun. Even a very young kid can work it - if they can reach the handle bars, they'll be able to drive it. All they have to do is wiggle their behinds and the scooter moves forward. It will go uphill, but to pull that off, the kid will need some leg strength, so here is where very little, light kids will not be able to do it, but it just gave our kids something to look forward to.I gave these to two of my grandkids when they were 3 and 6 and the oldest is now 15 and actually still tries to ride it. He's about 5'-8" and rides it hunched over, but still enjoys it. Crazy. The newest model now has a hand brake. He's about 5'-8" and rides it hunched over, but still enjoys it. Crazy. The newest model now has a hand brake. I don't usually like hand brakes on bikes because the bike can flip over forward, but this scooter can't. Its center of gravity is too low. So the brake is quite helpful. However, you should warn your child that if they are going fast, or downhill, the brake will make only the front wheel stop - making the scooter spin in a circle, so they need to hold on until it stops. Again, our kids use this as a fun feature, altermantly scooting and spinning and having a ball.I just got the newest one for a little boy my mom babysits. He just turned 4 and is very light, but he is able to get it moving and just loves it. She can take a walk with him, while he scoots alongside her. The bonus is that he takes a good nap by the time they get back from the "walk".We've had the older units for almost 10 years. No breakage, no real signs of heavy wear despite heavy usage. However, I should also mention that there is a screw operated knob at the base of the handle. If you loosen it, the unit will fold flat for storage, and it will stand on its wings without falling - which is a plus. Can't do that with a traditional scooter. But that knob will come all the way off, so watch that your kids don't do that and then stash it somewhere where you won't find it. My kids have done that. Replacement knobs can be purchased, but better to supervise them if they are putting it away themselves.
The neighbor girl age 8 has a Powerwing, so that's exactly what my son age 6 has wanted for years. It went together easily with wrenches enclosed in the package. He even helped tighten the three bolts that constitute the entire assembly process. I did use a hunk of wood to urge one of the bolts through the holes. The instructions didn't mention that there's one sacrificial plastic spacer that needs to be removed and tossed during assembly so you'll have one "part" left over. The Powerwing works well with younger children because they don't need to reposition their feet or balance on two wheels like a traditional scooter. Trying to balance on one foot, steer and push with the other foot is more complicated that one remembers (which is probably why I can't stay atop ... MoreThe neighbor girl age 8 has a Powerwing, so that's exactly what my son age 6 has wanted for years. It went together easily with wrenches enclosed in the package. My boy loved the explanation that he'd might be zipping at dangerous racing speeds so of course he always needs a racing helmet.
