These rolled oats have lots of flavour and the actual grain has a nice honey brown colour, unlike other rolled oats which are very light in colour.The way they are rolled is somewhat thick so they will require pre-soaking if you want to have soft oats.If you just boil them to make porridge they will come out a bit chewy. That's OK. They have lots of good flavour and texture and after eating them it feels like they're giving me lots of good vitamins.I rate this brand and batch very highly.If you like your oats slightly less chewy, which I do, I use a mortar and pestle to mash these rolled oats just a little to break them up a bit before boiling so that they boil quicker and are less chewy.I like these rolled oats a lot, and so does my wife.

I enjoy my oats and have found that these, for me, are the best. They are best left in water overnight and then bought to the boil in the morning. Occasionally I will add milk to thicken the oats.
