I've been away from the site for years, due to a terrible DHL service last time, which ended in me giving up my last order. So, this is a test order, just to see if it's working again, and yes, it does. Order well received across the Atlantic sea (Bulgaria).iHerb encourages me to write a review about the two products I ordered, and I must say, I am not disappointed. In other words, the salt is salty enough, it looks great, and it is kosher (whatever that means). I'll use it for the first time in a minute with my next meal.The electrolyte drink mix is okay, it tastes great, and I just took my first dose.In other words, both products do exactly what it says on the tin.A man is content. :)

This salt is semi-coarse, great for any use. as always, it's great to use a clean salt that has all the minerals intact and is sourced from an ancient sea pre pollution and microplastics. There are no anti caking agents, no bleach, no uniform shades and colors. Tastes like it promises, much less aggressive than standard salts, has a mild sweet flavor that comes through in everything you cook. The quantity is a bit smaller than the fine groundsalt. but I'm staying with Redmond Real Salt for their unrivalled quality and consistency.

Having recently learned a lot about the multitude of salts out there and being someone who is very huge on flavor with a loathing of excess saltiness, I decided to try a small bit on my finger to test the saltiness before adding it to food, and this was a good thing. I personally find that a very small amount will be needed for any dish, and therefore, this will last a very long time. I've been a repeat customer of Redmond Real Salt since I discovered it a few years ago. I use it daily to season and cook with. I've even made mouthwash and tooth powder with it because I trust the sourcing, quality, and high mineral content.Something to note on texture — it is a bit gritty due to the silica content that almost looks like dirt (but isn't!), and it might bother those who are sensitive.I appreciate that the company is very transparent about testing for heavy metals and microplastics, and the COA is easy to find on their website.
Firstly, this salt tastes delicious! Sweet and salty and full of all the minerals you need.I have POTS which means, among other things, my body doesn’t like holding onto salt. I have to have immense amounts of sodium and salt a day to function and prefer to choose high quality salt over commercial, high processed varieties. I literally carry this container in my purse to put salt in my water, on my food or just lick off my hand when I’m out and about. You shouldn’t fear salt, you should fear the processed variety! Everyone needs mineral rich salt to stay hydrated and mineralized. This size is perfect and last a while. Highly recommend!

I didn't see any reviews talking about this. This salt is unrefined so I suppose it isn't filtered as much as other salts? This brand states that the salt has a subtle sweet flavor, but I can't really detect sweetness. This tastes exactly like the classic table salt w/ iodine that I grew up on haha. Overall, I personally don't think it's that special. I think I prefer chunkier salts vs. fine ground, as I had previously purchased chunkier Celtic sea salt. But Redmond is known to have less contaminants than other brands but I don't know how factual this is. After reading about microplastics in sea salt, and then about radioactive waste getting dumped in the sea, and raw sewage found in sea water close to shore, and then explosive residues discovered in "himalayan salt" (which is actually mined in Afghanistan) I thought it best to look for a better source of salt. Redmond salt is mined in Utah from a massive salt dome that has no radiation, microplastics, no sewage exposure, and no explosives are used to mine the salt; I bought it!! GREAT Tasting and I use so little to flavor food! 100% recommending to family and friends and you guys reading this review.
