I purchased the Real Techniques Everyday Essentials Set since I needed new makeup brushes and saw that it came with their sponge. I've heard great reviews about their 200 expert face brush and sponge so I was eager to test them with my liquid foundation. I've been blown away by the performance of everything in this set. All the brushes are soft with no loose hairs from daily use during my first month. The 402 setting brush is perfect - packed and detailed enough for both highlighting and setting powder yet still soft. The 400 blush brush is fluffy and picks up blush nicely without picking up too much. The 200 expert face brush is perfect for buffing foundation and leaves no streaks. The brush is a denser eyeshadow brush and works well, but just a bit too big for me given my small eyelid space. I highly recommend Real Techniques brushes and sponge and plan to purchase more sets, brushes, and the sponge in the future.

I love this set! When I was first getting into makeup I didn’t really understand the importance of a decent brush to blend. Now I have a few brushes that were very pricey, and I have these and some other mid-range,drugstore brushes. I reach for these 9/10 times. I love the 400 blush brush for, well, blush, but also loose setting powder, and certain bronzers. It blends everything beautifully, never cakes on,diffuses the color, and washes nicely. The 402 setting brush is another hero in my collection for loose powder and setting my t-zone,also a wonderful highlight brush. The 200 expert is another good one, good for buffing a skin tint into the skin(I can’t speak for actual foundation too much, I don’t really use them, but I’m sure it would work just as well as it does with ... MoreI love this set! I don’t really use the 300 deluxe crease because I do mostly cream eyeshadow or just a little bit of my bronzer, but I can say when I do reach for it,it buffs it out nicely and I have no issues. None of these brushes shed or have any issues being cleaned. I love the sponge and I feel like it is MUCH better than the Beauty Blender. I don’t use a sponge much-I like to use my fingers to blend really-but I like this one a lot. The tip gets into the creases of your face well and I just feel like this is overall a better sponge (and much more affordable as well). This is a great value and a great starter set. I have gifted it and every time the person has loved these brushes. I think Real Techniques is the best drugstore brush brand out there.

If you've watched the video - apologies for my nails. Haven't had time for a mani yet - you can see I own at least two of every brush in this RT pack. Initially I just bought the blush brush and a small multipurpose one, but that didn't last long. A powder brush followed and then I absolutely *needed* this pack. Everyday Essentials? Absolutely! I really love how they perform and stand the test of time. No hairloss during unpacking, washing, use and afterwards washing again. Performance: If you're a powder blush user this blush brush is so so nice. It really evenly applies any blush and feels like a cloud on your skin. Result is very pretty. The multipurpose brush can be used for a number of things. Basically anything you can think of, really. I personally use it for ... MoreIf you've watched the video - apologies for my nails. It really evenly applies any blush and feels like a cloud on your skin. Result is very pretty. The multipurpose brush can be used for a number of things. Basically anything you can think of, really. I personally use it for contour, cream bronzer, liquid bronzer, foundation/BB cream and taking away excess makeup. It's also great for after-blending. Oh, if you have any very dense blush products, like baked stuff or really firmly pressed stuff that won't always work with a fluffy brush this one can also be used as a blush brush - just use a more tapping motion. The concealer brush is a-ma-zing. I have two now as well and would love a 3rd (since I use them every single day that saves washing). It evenly smears out concealer to get a great blended coverage. If you use eyeshadow primer this brush is ideal for that aswell and I can imagine a nose contour would work with it too. I use it for eyeshadow as well. It is just a great tool. Last but not least the brush that's meant for under the eye, to apply powder f.e. Well, I don't do that and use mine as a highlighter brush. Excellent! And best highlighter brush together with my Z-A brush. I only have good things to say about them and also like the fact that especially the bigger ones keep standing up straight on their handle. They don't roll away that easily either. As mentioned earlier: they go back perfectly after a wash. As if they were just new. Same shape and feel, same application. I reviewed the sponge separately. Would I buy again? Well, already did that of course and also have backups for the sponge, the big powder brush to an amount of 3 for all of them except for the concealer and highlighter brush. But I'll get those one day. For now the only reason to get more extras is laziness, lol. Have been using all of them at least 5 years, I actually think longer and haven't had any complaints since. These will stay in my brush collection! Recommend to the nth degree!

The set includes a wide range of brushes that are perfect for all kinds of makeup applications, from foundation and concealer to powder, contour, eyeshadow and foundation One of my favorite brushes in the set is the RT 400, which is designed for use with blush. It has a flat, slightly pointed head with densely packed bristles that make it super easy to blend and smooth blush onto my skin. It's definitely become a go-to in my makeup routine. This real techniques brush set is fantastic!!The foundation brush is great for getting a flawless finish, I pop my foundation on the back of my hand, dab some on the brush and start to work from my nose outwards to ensure it doesn’t look cakey. I find that layering is best.In my opinion the sponge is best used when damp, that way it absorbs less product.I love the eyeshadow crease brush as well, a couple of dabs into my eyeshadow and it has great placement on my eyelid. These brushes wash really well too, I have had them for several months now and the fibres are still soft with minimal loss of bristles.Definitely worth the investment ⭐️

I have used this for about a year now and I got my sister and friends hooked on it too. I have sensitive combination skin and use this 3 or 4 times a week with my night skin care routine. After using a gentle cleanser to wash my face, I apply this on my face While it's still slightly damp. I follow up with an vit. C serum and then an occlusive face cream with good stuff like ceramides. Now, in the winter, finish with a light face oil to lock all of the moisture in.It has diminished my dark spots and helped with melasma that I got from pregnancy a few years ago. I'm on my second bottle and still think it's a great buy

The set is almost complete. The size are manageable. Some parts are not portable to bring in a purse. The package is nice, but you need to have a good makeup bag to store all the brushes since one brush is quite longer than usual. The texture and quality of the bristles are nice. They are super soft, and the sponge is fluffy. Not hard to press on the face when being used. To have a good damp sponge, I wash it every night, squeeze slightly, then let it air dry. In the morning, it's just the right damp for the skin. I wash my brushes and sponge every other day, and the bristles of the brush don't come off, and the sponge doesn't fall apart. The composition is just right.

Versatile set of brushes for beginners

I brought this last summer for half off (£10) which was a great deal! I really like the setting powder brush and deluxe crease brush. I like the setting powder brush for lightly sweeping and pressing loose powder under my eyes because it has slightly flat sides so I can pressed the bristles flat on my face. The crease brush works well for when i apply cream bronzer to the outer v of my eyelids and want it to blended out in that specific area. With the buffer brush some hairs have come up and i had to snip them to match the length of the other bristles. I like a more precise blush look in a small area and the blush brush from this set is too big for the look i want to go for. I think this is a great beginner makeup brush set. The brushes can be used for different purposes not just what its described to do. Even better if you get them half off.
