Real Techniques Miracle Powder Sponge 2 Pack

This sponge is a real technique sponge and is so much cheaper than the original beauty blenders and in my opinion they are just as good .They claim that the sponge is antimicrobial for 30 days which is a big plus .To use this you dampen it ,I wet it then roll it in a towel to get rid of any excess water . The sponge has velvet fibres which apparently soften and set your makeup for a longer lasting finish . It has a 3 point precision application for a smooth filtered effect . I really like that it has rounded edges to blur and blend then has a precision point to conceal and perfect and the straight edge really helps to apply products to the face . Can be used for powder,contour and blush .I would highly recommend this sponge

Excellent! This is the first time I learnt about powder sponge. I have always been using brushes and am very happy that I now have another option :) I like the texture and its shape. With the sharp tip on one end and a flat surface on the other, it's very easy to apply products to different areas on the face. I do hope they offer the option of bundling with a case or a holder though. I really like the case for the orange sponge and am upset that they are not doing the same for this version. Nice quality

Flawless Application of Pressed Powder Foundation!

I was skeptical, but this sponge delivers amazing fast, flawless full coverage of powder foundations. I use for both Dermablend & Bare Minerals pressed powder foundations. I literally just swipe the compact, then swipe across my face with quick even strokes. The coverage is totally flawless. No streaks or gaps (with good color match to my skin). I’ve not used it for blush or contouring, as I like my good Bare Minerals blush brush for a natural glow (but curious to try the sponge to see if it works with loose mineral glow blusher). I finish with a quick dab of translucent setting powder fluff w/a large brush. I absolutely love it! No longer a chore to swipe on some natural coverage & go.

Great with liquid and powder. Leaves an airbrushed look without soaking up product

This really does apply liquid and powder really well. It really does help to set with a nice airbrushed effect. It also doesn't soak up as much product as other sponges. In the picture you can see it still looked clean after blending foundation. It was soft and easy to use.

I'm not one to review a sponge, but...

I’ve never been crazy about a makeup sponge. It’s just a sponge, ya know? Like I’ve always just grabbed one and really didn’t think twice. But let me tell you, this sponge? Crazy good! I looked over some of the reviews and everyone has been using it with powder (as you should….. since that’s what the package says), but I use it with my Liquid foundation and it’s really a game changer!!! I don’t really like brushes, and this sponge paired with liquid foundation really gives you a powdered look. It has a flocked feel, and I’ve noticed it doesn’t soak up as much product as a liquid foundation sponge does? I don’t know, there’s science behind it somewhere I guess! Ive spent too much time reviewing literally just a sponge, but y’all get the idea 😂

I love almost all the Real Techniques products I've bought over the years.When I love something I rebuy it and I will rebuy this!!!Though going around 2 years since it's released I barely tried it recently.Funny part about my love for this product is that I personally love my fingers and brushes for my makeup. I've tried in the past to use sponges and I don't personally like the results with it.This sponge has mixed reviews...some hate it ,some love it and some like it for uses other than powder. I haven't tried it yet with liquid products yet but as a powder sponge it's amazing. I have never gotten full coverage before with just powder and definitely not on my nose where I'm the oilest and where my makeup usually separates. Seriously, guys. I love this sponge so much I had to write a review. I was skeptical about this sponge, but decided to go for it anyway. I use it with my MAC powder plus foundation. Holy moly. It gives me AMAZING coverage that I could never get with a brush! The sponge is soo velvety and spreads the product perfectly. I feel like I actually use LESS powder with this sponge compared to a brush. What's also great is that you can actually get the edges of your powder (like when you hit pan, but there's still powder on the sides) so you get full use of your product. I have used this wet and dry, and so far I prefer it dry, but even when it's wet it doesn't mess up my powder or make it look cakey on the skin. good for what its for!!
