My second purchase of these boxes as they really are the best on the market. Cheaper ones are available but these are the strongest and most well made out there. Reinforced corners and easy fit lids and best of all, they stack really securely. Excellent product.

Toyota had made a deeper Boot in my new Yaris Design Hybrid Hatchback by not having a false floor that my previous Diesel Yaris had for "emergency tool etc" storage. So, rather than have a jumble of tools etc which produced an uneven floor I wanted a tool etc storage box to fit on the now lower floor which would give me another flat surface (on the top of the box) where I could put my luggage/shopping. It also gives a little space left-over at the "front edge length side of the box" to store two umbrellas i.e. hidden below the top edge of the box; and to put an unstable carrier bag in a space/wedge i.e. wedged below the top edge of the box (on the width - back to front - side). Very happy with Robert Dyas, I've bought from them in the past and happy to continue using them as the service is easy to use and reliable.The storage boxes I ordered arrive packaged securely to prevent damage during transit and all in tip top condition.I've used Really Useful Boxes for over 10 years now - very sturdy products (to give you an example, I can comfortably stand on them without damage) - yes they may be more expensive than the next storage box, but all the boxes I've purchased (40+) are still being used versus cheaper products which have broken / shattered after little use. My thinking is it's cheaper in the long run to buy 1 good product than several cheaper ones.

The lids and the handles act together to secure. The OD description is accurate. Clear design, but with a honey-comb support design means it won't crack like some of the non-supported tubs. The support design and extra heavy duty walls work well, no sagging when filled. The handles are a little loose; not sure why they were designed that way? But, the lid stays shut.
