Perfect for CD storage, just as the picture shows on that other online site, tho I bought from OfficeDepot.com. Will hold 3 nice rows of 25-30 CDs each, so 75-90 total. Inside corners are almost completely straight, which is actually a big deal when storing/boxing CDs. They stack/nest nicely, tho more than 3 high might be an issue. Appear to be sturdy enough for long term use, but only time will tell. Shipping was fast, but because i ordered 5 pieces they were not able to get them all in one box and put each of the other 2 units separately in their own way oversize brown box. Extremely wasteful packaging.I have thousands of CDs that need proper storage and these are the best storage solution boxes i've found so far. We've been buying Really Useful Boxes of all sizes for many years. These are the best storage boxes you can buy, and last forever. One of my favorite things is, they are straight up and down on the sides, so sit right up against each other without wasting and space in between. This is a pet peeve of mine–boxes that flare out on the sides so you can't put boxes next to each other without wasting valuable inches of shelf space in between. It's amazing how hard it is to find straight up and down storage boxes like these that are sturdy and stackable. These come in so many sizes. There are boxes that are a perfect fit for pencils, camera equipment and lenses, files, office supplies, and even a size that's a perfect fit for long-handled artists' paintbrushes. The smallest size is great for little things like bandaids, bobby pins and hair clips, and their square shape ensures that they sit and stack securely on a medicine cabinet shelf without falling off (a pet peeve of mine). The tops have a nice secure fit, with substantial latches that don't fall off, sturdy, stackable, semi transparent so you can tell what's inside. Over the years we've gradually replaced our other boxes (non-Really Useful Boxes) and buying only Really Useful Boxes to replace them. I won't buy any other kind.

Built-in cabinets are great in an office, but sometimes they have weird dimensions. This was the perfect size to make a "fake drawer" in my office cabinets so my cool office supplies neither have to be placed in the common area nor get lost in the back of the cabinet to never be reached again. There's even a handle!!!The construction is sturdy and the clear sides make it easier to remember which items you put in which one. Loved the first one I purchased so much that I ordered more to place in every single cabinet in my office.

It's a new year, and organizing is always on my list of resolutions. I'm going to be honest … I have totes everywhere. Too many of them, probably. But I have a new favorite kind of tote – the REALLY USEFUL BOX. These things are awesome: They come in a variety of sizes so I can use them in various places (I got two for under the bed, five for storing stuff (school stuff, previous work projects, etc), and a handful of these file-size ones (32 Liter). The file size ones are PERFECT for … well, files! I used to store my business records in self-assembled cardboard file boxes but they would let dust in (and other stuff!) and they didn't stack well. The Really Useful Box storage containers keep the dust (and spiders) out of my back files, they stack great, and I can SEE ... MoreIt's a new year, and organizing is always on my list of resolutions. (They look so nice I also got out my digital labelmaker and labeled them with the year.) I'm gradually replacing yucky cardboard boxes with pretty plastic ones. They're a game-changer. Would definitely recommend.
. . . available at my local OfficeMax store. I've used these boxes (in various sizes) for over 10 years & been very pleased with their performance.Unfortunately, this box was just a little too small to suit my needs, and the next available size was a little too large. But they are a very good & sturdy box at a reasonable price!!
I started using Really Useful Boxes back in 2015 and never looked back. It all started with this size box because I was looking for a more durable/rugged document box that wouldn’t crush under multiple being stacked. The cheapie $10 ones just don’t cut it! Little did I know how incredibly hardy and effective these are using as a system. They make moving a breeze because of how they stack perfectly and won’t shift or slide. I don’t have to worry about them crushing like with traditional cardboard boxes. I love that these fit both letter and legal. Zip ties can be used on the handles to secure them in the locked position on the lid. This has come in handy several times for me, personally. You can even reorder replacement lids should one fail on you directly from ... MoreI started using Really Useful Boxes back in 2015 and never looked back. They truly have made a huge difference in moving, storage and organization for me.
Bought a dozen of these. Used to store CDs and cassettes. Reinforced design is well done. I can stack at least ten high without any damage to the bottom container, considering how heavy each full container is. Wish Office Depot would carry the size that's perfect for LPs. Would by those as well. They really are useful boxes!
It was time to tackle cleaning out under the bed in my spare bedroom. I *thought* there were a couple cardboard storage boxes under there … but, to be honest, I hadn't looked since probably before COVID. (I was NOT one of those people who took the time during COVID to organize everything in the house. I've worked from home since 2004, so while everyone else was getting used to being home … that was already my daily life.)Anyway, I finally got around to checking under the bed in December 2022 … and I found a couple of cardboard boxes … and lots and lots of dust bunnies. Including inside the cardboard boxes. Yuck.So off to Office Depot I went. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my REALLY USEFUL BOXES. Including inside the cardboard boxes. Yuck.So off to Office Depot I went. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my REALLY USEFUL BOXES. I have gradually been replacing cardboard storage boxes with the file size Really Useful Boxes (32L), plus I have some in various other sizes (#10 envelope size all the way up to 64L)I swept all the dust bunnies from under the bed and replaced the cardboard boxes with beautiful plastic totes. One HUGE advantage is now I can see what's in the boxes so I know I'm looking in the right one for what I need. These fit perfectly under the bed too.Would definitely recommend for keeping things organized and out of the way. The boxes are sturdy and they stack nicely. (Obviously, you don't stack them when they're under the bed … there wouldn't be room … but when I have to take them out to sweep away the inevitable dust bunnies, they will stack nicely…)
These boxes are perfect for storing DVDs, BluRays, Video Games, or CDs. I bought several of these boxes to store my collection. I managed to fit 40 DVDs into each box and about 85 CDs each - 3 columns, 29 CDs each. They feel sturdy. They're stackable. The boxes are transparent so you can easily see what's inside. The handles fold up easily to lock the box without interfering with stacking them.If you're looking to store your digital media, these truly are Really Useful Boxes.
i have been wanting these to store dvd's and i am glad to finally get them. being stackable is a huge plus. it fits 2 rows of cases perfectly. shipping was free but it wasn't put in a box. rather it was just wrapped in plastic. of course it was damaged because shipping companies (imho) don't really care as much as they ought to about such things. the local store did not have any in stock at the time so i have to wait until they are replenished to exchange it.
