I have way too many sprinkles and keeping them in their original container was taking up too much space. These little boxes will hold more than a "regular size" sprinkle bottle so that is 16 less bottles to have to find a place to store them.

I bought two of these, one for my daughter and the other for myself. You don't realize how many small desk items you have until you're filling in these little boxes. They've definitely cleaned up a little clutter on my desk and for my daughter, she keeps all the little odds and ends that she accumulates. They snap close pretty well, but I kind of wish they were a little more secure. Other than that I've found them to be a great desk organizer.

I read the Product description and knew that the boxes would be small. They were perfect for what I needed. My daughter has accumulated quite the collection of hair ties, clips and little gems for her hair. These boxes were perfect!! She organized them and color coded her hair items. Now she can get them herself and help get ready on her own (shes’s 6 and loving some big girl responsibilities). She also put some of her jewelry in them and now they don’t get tangled.

I love the boxes. I make jewelry, and I can keep my colors separated. Then I label my boxes, on the front sides with lined index cards, with the different colors, and put another set of indexed cards facing me on the side, so I can see what colors are in that set of boxes. Orange crystal beads, orange small beads, large orange beads, on the front of the box, then repeat the same thing on an index care on the side of the box facing me, if my color should need to change I do the same thing with that set of colors. I can find what color and size of bead I am looking for easier.
That's about the size of these individual boxes. For us non-Barbie look-a-like types, the Really Useful Boxes are terrific laid in a drawer which is where one of our sets is, with each box labeled for easy retrieval of safety pins, a pencil sharpener, magnets, thumb tacks, etc. Makes the drawer look and feel organized! Our second set is destined for the craft room; the boxes will be housed in their holder, standing on a shelf and contain tiny crafting pieces, such as decorative brads, clips; other scrapbooking decor. One wish for future versions of these brightly-colored boxes is for latches that clip tightly without coming undone so easily--with little to no effort.
I’ve started miniature scarpebooking. Of course stickers and cutouts etc. are very small. Everything fits great in these little containers. The lids snap on so if you want to take some supplies on the go nothing spills out. But each little box has its own cubbie for storage.

Original search was for clear boxes this size but the colored boxes work just fine. You can still see the contents. I bought this to organize my stash of buttons and while these hold tons of them I will need another organizer to complete my project. I left off the 5th star because when lifting the unit you need to tilt it to the back or the boxes fall out. It's a minor complaint, really, because the boxes have locking lids and contents aren't spilled; just a minor aggravation when you're in a hurry. Other than that I love these boxes and would recommend them all day long!
My daughter begged me for this for her beads. She loved the colors. For me, I don’t care for it too much. I would like it more if the containers were clear instead of colored, and the lids could be colored since they’re stored sideways. I like to see the product inside easily. My daughter doesn’t care though. She thinks it’s pretty. It also has a pretty sturdy snapping lock lid which is a plus. If she drops them, beads won’t spill out everywhere.
but, the “holder” for the boxes does nothing more than surround them. the boxes wobble and fall out easily. if this is going to be placed on an extremely stable surface and used with care—it is definitely wonderful. if used on or near a work surface that may move or jiggle, or be used by unsteady hands—this is not for you. we finally placed strips of masking tape over each row to keep the boxes from falling out—certainly not nearly as pretty as the boxes could have been. wish they would have snapped or somehow locked into the storage case.
