The table is almost perfect. The table itself is extremely good quality and was easy to assemble. The bar that connects to the legs came too short, so it was impossible to put the locking pegs in. I’ve contacted early settler for a replacement part but still haven’t received a response.

Luv this table, extra long for large gatherings
The table is almost perfect. The table itself is extremely good quality and was easy to assemble. The bar that connects to the legs came too short, so it was impossible to put the locking pegs in. I’ve contacted early settler for a replacement part but still haven’t received a response.
Had plans to make a table for our large family. Thanks to Early settler sale we purchased a Reclaimed Cross Leg Table (4 Metres long).Best buy we have made for many years.
The product displayed in store and shown on their website is quite different to the table we received. Due to the nature of reclaimed teak, we expected some differences but it’s not nearly as nice. We put this down to poor quality assurance practices – for example, ours has some very dark pieces of wood (looking closer to jarrah) whereas the display table is much more even toned and lighter in colour. We were also given incorrect information as to how the table would turn out once sealed/oiled. When we complained, it was entirely blamed on the oil we used (we used a teak oil from Bunnings as they told us to, which was clear/translucent). We were also told “as you have used a product on your table you're not eligible for warranty resolutions”. Family and friends have been shocked as to how different our table looks from photos we showed them of the instore display table and website.
