After years of gaming I can say this is THE best video game I've ever played. The landscapes are breathtaking, the animals are so interesting and realistic, the side missions are intriguing and rewarding, and the best part is the main storyline. Arthur felt like a real human being and I shared all of his emotions throughout the story when playing. The other characters are also outstanding. The range of personalities, delivery of emotion and character development were all present and very well written. I cried at the end the first time I played it and this game will forever have my heart. Seriously. Literally the best game I have ever played. I have also played the first Red Dead and enjoyed that one as well, but this one is my favorite hands down. You have a story mode and online play. Story mode is fantastic and allows you to make different choices and the ending will reflect that, as well as the tons of side quests you can do. Not only that but there is an epilogue on top of the story mode. I enjoy taking all the horses and selling them. It’s an overall great game and I have restarted and played the story mode a few times.

And Tuberculosis also played a major part in changing his life, and not only that but John and his family, Tilly, Ms. Grimshaw, Mr. Pearson, Mary-Beth, Even Uncle. Arthur redeemed himself by trying to save as many as he could and get justice to those who deserved it. His passing was one of the most heartbreaking moments for gamers and It gets even better when you then Play as John Marston (AKA The main protagonist of the first Red Dead Redemption game) Arthurs Good friend and brotherly figure, Together with his former gang members Charles and Sadie who the game will introduce you to as the game progresses through the story. They hunt and avenge for their good friend and get the retribution he deserved and cuts into the sequel to red dead redemption the entire story is amazing from beginning to first. with breathtaking graphics and unmatchable features that you and all the people in red dead redemption 2 have (your hair and beard literally grows and flows in the wind that's how amazing it looks). you have so many strangers and side missions that you can interact with, and it just gets better and better hunting legendary animals, treasure hunting, secretly unlocking weapons that aren't supposed to be unlocked yet the list goes on, the soundtrack matches perfectly to each mission and gives you a feeling of intense excitement and a feeling that makes you cry, now there are some critics and gamers that have a problem with horse riding because it takes to long, but personally, I enjoyed every moment riding on a horse it was cool, and people also say that the controls are clunky and weird but again in my opinion they're not it's pretty good to me and another thing the controls are just like GTA 5 so I don't understand why people say it's bad but it just is to them but opinions don't count in a rating. The gamer has all these amazing things RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 if I could give higher ratings I could this game deserves more than a 10/10 it deserves a 100/10

This game is a masterpiece! The majority of the negative reviews that I've read here seem to have some reoccurring themes. "It takes too long to get places in the game... It's just a bunch of horse riding... It's slow paced... etc." I get it. Yes, the map is huge and it takes some time to travel by horse, but the people who are writing these kind of negative reviews are missing the bigger picture Rockstar has provided. I constantly find myself totally immersed and enthralled by the vast amounts of detail and art that has been captured in RDR2. At no point have I been bored playing this incredible game. Snipe Elite 4 or the new Sniper Elite 5 being the only other games that can hold my interest for long anymore. One negative to RDR2 is it sort of ruins other games, as they just don't just don't stack up after playing RDR2. Quite the learning curve, little room for error!

I think this game has quite the learning curve in my opinion. Even strange just a small bit off the path during the mission equals failed. Very little room for mistakes. Now if you do stay with it and get used to all the buttons sequences all the stuff you can do etc, then the game might be actually enjoyable if you enjoy gigantic worlds and tons of side quests along the way. I was hoping it was more of the story based game that had side quests that you could do but most of the time I'm left not knowing what to do and end up doing the wrong thing and bad things happening other words dying, failing the mission. If you can hang with it, and take time to learn all the controls perfectly and have the patience then this game might actually be good.
