This high specification diet is nutritionally balanced for essential nutrients such as protein, energy, vitamins and minerals necessary for high rates of lay and large egg size. Linoleic acid is included in the diet at a minimum of 1.2% for enhanced egg size. Red Hen 17 is manufactured in the No Grind Crumble form to reduce selective feeding and yet still offers hens large grain pieces which they prefer. Red Hen 17 is a medication free diet.
