Looks nice, the ten year battery is a plus but it is a built in battery so I have two concerns. 1. One is the battery really going to last ten years as batteries age from the manufacturer date which differs to the item sold date. 2. I will be forced to buy another unit at some point which if I didn't want to make a mess of my ceiling would have to be the same to fit the ceiling mount proving the same unit or fit is sold in up to ten years. The unit itself was easy to mount & overall I am pleased for now with the purchase.

Purchased 6 of these to replace old 9V battery operated detectors. These ones work great and passed all necessary regulatory inspections in NSW- saved about $1000 doing it ourself!
