As a first-time experience using Recon Whole Food Protein, I must say, I am very impressed! My son is here visiting and is extremely picky. He plays Football for a D1 University. He sticks to ONLY his preferred supplements, always. My son asked, what are you doing with that Dad? I replied I'm going to use it as a meal supplement son. Best Protein I've come across. Doesn't buildup or stick. Actually has some sugar in it (substitute is horrible for you, you need sugar). I had no problems or cramps digesting this stuff, it also has a very high count per serving unlike a lot of brans of protein and also I love how this is also a meal replacement. I have had issues holding weight and this is the perfect balance for me. Water or whole milk I prefer whole milk but water definitely keeps you more hydrated I use whole milk because I need as many calories as I can in a day to maintain or gain because my metabolism is like a Nuclear power plant. I also feel a lot more on point and way less fatigued after drinking one of these with or as a meal.

I got the chocolate fudge and banana nut bread, and a sample of the MRE lite oatmeal cookie. The chocolate fudge was pretty good, especially given the cost. I bought it during a sale and the price per serving came out to just over a dollar. I do not like the banana nut bread. It has an artificial "banana-ish" taste. I would go for another flavor. Probably better to be vanilla/chocolate and just blend with a banana and some nuts. The oatmeal chocolate chip was not good in my opinion. Tasted strange to me.Also, it is important to note that I mixed all of these with water
I have to say, it's almost too good to be true. Mixability is extremely easy, no lumps, clumps, or any other weirdness. It's actually very light too, when I get done drinking it, I don't feel bloated and unattractive. I mix mine with about 16oz of water mainly, sometimes I will use about a 1/2 cup of oat milk and then fill the remaining with water. Mixes right up. Does this really have 47g of protein and 75g of carbs? Goes down fast!My only semi-negative comment is the Fudge Brownie is a bit ambiguous on the flavor side, I thought it would be a lot more chocolatey, but beyond that, tastes fine. I will say, when just shaken in a blender bottle there is some texture, but it's not chalky or clumpy, just a bit of undissolved bits (but this could be that I need to add more liquid). I bought the Oatmeal Cookie one, which does have tiny chocolate bits in it so that could also be what I'm feeling when I drink it. Either way, the texture is not a turn off for me. I've tried protein drinks from peas and THAT was chalky and I couldn't even drink it. This, I can have with just water or if I want to make it a nice smoothie I'll do oatmilk, water, 4 scoops, 1/3 of a banana and blend. I will also add - the body can only digest 25-30 grams of protein per hour so I drink 1 half of my smoothie at 11am and the next half at 12pm so that I can maximize my protein synthesis and avoid it being just excreted or turned into excess fat. If you're feeling like I am too gushing about this product, I will say one thing -- I find it a bit sweet, but when I add the banana and oat milk it cuts the sweetness in half. Highly recommend this product.
First of all, I can't believe how quick SNS Health had my order packed-up and shipped. It's literally a record time. Because of how quick they get product out, I will continue my business with them on all my supplements.As for the Redcon1 MRE Lite - I can't believe how good this stuff taste compared to regular whey protein. The MRE Lite has such great taste its not overly sweetened like most whey. It digests real good to, no gas or any issues. It mixes real well just in a shaker cup with water or Fairlife milk. I have absolutely 0 complaints.

I got sent a replacement blueberry cobbler MRE after having multiple issues for the first time with digestion in the Snickerdoodle MRE Lite and this blueberry cobbler doesn't even taste remotely like blueberry cobbler. It tastes like straight cinnamon. For the record, I use to always shake my protein shakes, this has to be continuously shaken or else it will thicken and sit at the bottom of the shaker bottle. It's also worth noting that the current consensus is that sucralose, acesulfame potassium, and maltodextrin can dramatically alter gut flora.Those with IBS or other GI issues should take this into consideration.That said, you can tell from the ingredients list that real thought was put into the recipe, not just a bunch of fillers and protein. I think MRE is the perfect product for me... a sometimes 'snack' and sometimes meal replacement on days I'm feeling lazy, work late and don't want to cook, or I need to supplement protein.
Your products are second to none- everything is awesome and everything works the way it is advertised, but for as great as your products are, your shipping over the last six- months has been equally horrendous! Every order takes longer than the last. It’s to the point that it’s almost not worth it anymore.It's like you got so big that it now ok cool give us your money and you’ll get your stuff when you get it. I used to get my orders within a week when you were in Boca, now they take a month or more. It’s not like you are sourcing this stuff from some manufacturer- you ARE the manufacturer.I’m really looking for a reason to keep spending my money with you but it just keeps getting more and more frustrating. Make it make sense.
