Redken All Soft Mega Hydramelt - 150ml

I am pleasantly surprised with this leave in conditioner. A little goes a long way. I do find it weighs my hair down if I use to much and my hair will look greasy by day 2. I can usually get to day 3-4 before it looks greasy if used sparingly. I only apply midway to ends and try to avoid my roots. It leaves my hair extremely soft. I have thick, coarse and dry hair. Has a sweet warm amber scent.

I wear my naturally curly hair curly 99% of the time. So it is important to me that I use hair products that bring out the best of my curls. The Redken All Soft Mega Curls system of products does just that. I use the Shampoos and Conditioner in the shower and then follow up with the Hydramelt after towel drying my hair. The products leave my curls weightless and bouncy. Exactly what I look for in curly hair products!

I purchased the Redken all soft mega shampoo, conditioner, mask this leave in hydra melt because I thought it would be a more affordable option of moisturizing strengthening than what I was using at the time (Oribe gold lust line). I have medium/thick density coarse straight hair that was previously color treated/lightened but it was overall in great condition due to the products I was using how I cared for my hair. I have 3A/B curly hair and it is usually terribly coarse and dehydrated. Before I discovered this product, I needed to do a full LOC (Liquid, Oil, Cream) haircare routine after every wash day. The first day I tried this leave-in treatment, I plied just this and nothing else to be able to see what this individual product was doing to my hair, and I was in utter SHOCK because of the results! I applied a little less than a quarter-sized amount into my wet hair (right after shampoo and conditioner), and let it dry overnight without tying it up. I woke up to curls that were so frizz free and bouncy, that I could've left my house without styling/blowdrying them and it would like I already had. Bought for my Aunt

I am a caregiver for my Aunt who lives in my home. She has always loved Redken All Soft. She hasn't used this product in roughly three years due getting ill. Now that she is home and I shower her I went out and purchased the All Soft system. I never knew they made the Mega and I thought I would give it a shot. Now she has coarse hair that is salt and pepper in color due to age. I used this after squeezing all the water out of her hair. I noticed that her hair was less frizzy right away. I have only used this product once since purchasing due to only washing her hair about once a week.

Essential for Redken All Soft Mega System

Five stars for the whole system. This product makes ALL the difference, and together with the shampoo and conditioner, this really is fantastic. It really strengthens the hair, leaving it feeling soft and healthy. This product elevated the effects of the shampoo and conditioner to the next level. I use this system weekly, and it has noticeably improved the condition and feel of my hair.

I like it a lot

I've been looking for a leave in conditioner that doesn't include protein with a focus on making my hair moisturized. This has left my hair amazing! I've had the all soft mega shampoo and conditioner and used this with it. Great results, softer, more moisturizer hair after the first use, and didn't weigh my hair down. I have thick dark brown Filipino/Native American hair and this is perfect for my hair type. Gives me the moisture it needs, others can be too lightweight. This nails it.

This product is not good for oily hair. I used the shampoo and conditioner every 2 days for a week and my hair had never felt so weighed down with product build up. It did, however, make my hair soft and easy to brush. If you have an oily scalp/strands, I would not recommend Redken All Soft. I started using Herbal Essenses Tea Tree Clarifying shampoo which is PH balanced and plant based. My hair has never felt cleaner for longer. My long hair is SHINY and WEIGHTLESS. I hope this helps someone web surfing for the best products for oily hair because if I seen an honest review like this one, I would not have dropped $80 on two bottles of Redken. Big mistake! (Again strictly for oily hair) Maybe if your hair is dry.

the worst acne of my life

So I do not struggle with acne. I've never had acne past age 14. I use this product ONCE and the next morning I woke up with zits all over my forehead, cheeks, and back. I had slept on my hair as my bonnet had fallen off. I thought I was having a lupus flare up but I tested a little bit of mask on my shoulder and sure enough I got acne exactly where I had put the mask on my shoulder. Who gets acne randomly on a shoulder?? Despite that it left my 1 A very thick, very dense hair very very soft. The acne was a shocker though!
