Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo 300 ml

I recently bleached my hair and typically my hair does well but this time around it really damaged my hair. I found this shampoo at a local hair salon and thought why not. When I tell you I was so close to chopping off all my hair at this point and this shampoo changed the game for me. It honestly makes such a difference. It doesn’t make my colour fade, HYDRATES my hair and trust me my hair needs it. After using it for a few month, I couldnt imagine using anything else. I’ve recommended it to some friends who’ve also dyed their hair and they love it as well!

Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo is hands down one of the best ever color protection products. I color my hair all too often, and recently I have made the choice to go purple. I was using a different product that stripped a lot of the color out, so it left behind more of a pinkish purple color and not the vibrant purple I had started with. So I did a little research to see what color protection shampoos and conditioners work best for my hair type (over worked, heat styled, fine, and flat.) This was a very popular product as far as reviews go. I can’t see myself using another brand unless of course the scent is amazing. I’m not a big fan of the smell of this product.

I rarely ever review any products but feel the need to review this and share my experience. I purchased this along with the Redken conditioner to match and began using it in the spring of this year. At the same time I was going back to school and had a couple life changes happening. My hair is thin and fine and to my horror I began losing massive amounts of hair in the shower and when brushing my hair. I was mortified! I have never had something like this happen to me before. So let's start out with the bottles. Both the shampoo and conditioner bottles are easy to hold, feel sturdy, and have an easy cap to open and securely close while in the shower. I used the shampoo and conditioner for the last week as well as using my normal olaplex after I got out of the shower. My hair felt so nice and smooth in the shower and out of it. It also had a good shine and smoothness to my hair. This stuff also smells very nice. I have my hair glazed to cover some stubborn highlights that I don't want anymore and it seems to be keeping the color in a bit. I don't see any noticeable changes but I also don't see my hair color fading. Life changing!

I have naturally very dark hair, which I had black box dye on. I recently went to a new stylist (absolutely love her) and she transformed my hair into the perfect dimensional "bronde" that truly is stunning and suits me perfectly. She did an amazing job of preserving my hair health all things considered, and I did not lose any length other than a quick trim and fixing up my layers but I had noticed that my hair was just a little more dry and tangly than it usually is, and I was using the Redken Extreme Length set, which is still amazing but after using the color magnetic I am HOOKED. My Experience After 1Year Use

I switched from Pureology hydrate shampoo/conditioner to Redken Color Extend Magnetics because the Pureology was "too hydrating" for me in the summer. I would need to wash my hair every day and it still felt heavy by the end of the day. Like many folks who color & highlight, my hair is much dryer at the ends. With Redken I only need to wash hair every 3 days. I apply a bit of Bb hairdresser's oil from mid-shaft to ends and I have the perfect level of cleaning/hydration.I have had no problem with hair loss, but I have thick medium texture straight hair, so it would take a lot of loss before I noticed. No problem with hair tangling either as some others have posted, as long as I use the conditioner in generous amounts. As far as lathering, yes I found the first shampoo doesn't lather much but it lathers much more with second shampoo. Also noticed that lather increases greatly at some hotels, so I'm thinking water hardness is probably a factor in how much/little lather you get.Overall my experience has been positive and I will continue to use this shampoo/conditioner combo until my hair get's "used to it"; like all other products I've used, eventually the products seem to not remove sufficient oil and I have to switch to a different brand for awhile to get back to status quo. Not the same formula. Dry Scalp and Greasy Hair!

This was my favorite line when it came to color treated hair!! I've been a blonde for a while so I wasn't using it, but now I have brown and blonde in my hair so I decided to start using it in December. No issues the first month and a half. Now all a sudden my scalp is flaky and it feels dirty! I decided to use my Pureology Hydrate Sheer instead just to see and omg big difference! It was the shampoo causing the problem. I used the shampoo again a few days later and the following day I had to wash it. Felt disgusting! I don't know why it happened months later, but I'm sticking to my Pureology. The redken extreme and One United spray. My other unused bottles will be getting returned!

Noticed Results After One Use

I have chemically treated platinum blonde hair. I wanted to try out a new shampoo. Noticed results right after I used this shampoo and conditioner once. Usually my hair looks a little dull while wet, but after using this my hair was so vibrant and shiny even while it was still wet. Definitely made my platinum blonde look more vibrant. It softened my hair up and made it shiny when it dried. Scent is nice, a very clean fresh scent. Will continue to use!

best color-preserving shampoo for fantasy colors
