Redken Volume Injection Conditioner 1L

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I had heard pretty good reviews about the Redken products so was really excited to try this. I have natural black, thin and fine hair and slightly wavy hair. I don’t gravitate towards volumizing shampoos because they tend to be drying on my hair. But surprisingly I am really impressed by this line. I have been trying this shampoo for almost 3 weeks now and I really like how my hair feels after every wash. It gives me a good volume, my hair don’t look flat. My hair tends to get oily at around day 3 which was the same with this product. I have noticed that my hairfall gas increased since I started using this shampoo and conditioner. Cannot be certain that its because of this product or other lifestyle factors. Overall its a good product.Just nitpicking about the packaging is that I would have loved it even more if shampoo and conditioner bottles were either of different shapes or color basically noticeably distinguishable. It helps a lot for people with glasses in shower.

Adds volume to hair

Although it says that it targets damaged hair to prevent breakage after using whole bottle I didn't see any difference on my damaged hair. More over my scalp was itching while I was using it and after using it I ended up having dandruffs. Not sure if that was caused because of using this brand product but I haven't had dandruffs prior using it. Only positive things is that it does add volume to hair and it smells really lovely. I have tried different lines from this brand and never had same problem.

Amazing product

I bought this conditioner while in a hurry, and it was on sale. I am amazed at the immediate difference! In love with the body, divine light scent and the shine! I don't even need to use a root boost if I don't want and am still able to see the lift at my roots. Not only that, but the shine and extreme softness of my locks are miraculous. I have a new go-to and cannot say enough about the line. I'll be looking into their products to add to my routine, but I am amazed simply washing and conditioning alone makes such a huge difference! in

GRAVITY DEFYING HAIR BUT SMELLS LIKE GMA’S PURSE

This conditioner is phenomenal as well as the shampoo. Immediately when applying the conditioner I can feel the moisture being added and my strands are smooth and manageable right out of the shower. I have very fine hair and haven’t found a product that actually gives it some body without feeling like a bunch of grit has been added. I’m defying gravity these days! The ONLY drawback is the smell which is a musky rose. Reminiscent of an established woman in her 60s. I am more of a happy-bright-flowery/fruity scent seeker. This product is a miracle worker as well as the ‘White Diamonds’ of shampoo/conditioners. If you enjoy or can deal with the stank- you won’t be disappointed.

Makes my hair feel dry in the shower

This conditioner has a lot of potential to be better than what it currently is. After shampooing my hair I use a regular amount of conditioner (about the size of a half dollar coin) and massage it into my hair. I let the conditioner sit in my hair for up to about 4-5 minutes while I continue on with the rest of my shower.After rinsing out the conditioner it honestly feels like I never used conditioner in the first place. After the first few showers of using this conditioner normally, I started conditioning a second time right after rinsing out the first coat of conditioner and this helps immensely. My hair will feel nice and silky. But is it worth it that I'm using more product just to achieve the effect of what a conditioner should do? No "injection" happened.

When paired with the shampoo from the same line, this does next to nothing. It's not very thick and maybe that's the point but given how drying the Volume Inject shampoo is, this conditioner has GOT to do better. Frizzy, straw hair ain't cute! For the record: I have uncolored, fine-ish & thin-ish hair with mild dandruff, oily roots with slightly frizzy mids and serious hair shedding that suddenly started in 2021 and never stopped (not COVID). I wasn't expecting this to be some kind of miracle to solve all the above but more of a "well, I got the shampoo, I'll get the matching conditioner bc they're both supposed to be light and good for fine hair". A separate leave-in conditioner made it just slightly better. If you want a good conditioner, try Biotin one from Pura d'Or, that stuff is *luscious* (though, it IS thicker but my, the slickness and shine!). I'm returning this product. Bought everything with my own money, not affiliated with anyone, no conflict of interest.

So bad

I have fine, long hair that is fairly healthy but definitely needs some volume.I bought this off a recommendation from a hairdresser. I have used it for two weeks now, in combination with the shampoo, and this has made my hair awful. It is so drying, it doesn't condition at all. I now see that isopropyl alcohol is one of the ingredients, so imagine pouring rubbing alcohol all over your hair, because that's how it feels.It also makes my hair incredibly stiff and hard to work with. It makes it feel as though there's a thick layer of hairspray all over my hair so brushing it and styling it is very difficult.This was very disappointing to me as I thought I got a quality recommendation and the reviews are so positive. Very thick and nourishing conditioner

I love how moisturizing it is with even a little product it coats my strands quickly and provides a lot of moisture. I don't notice much volume (just that my straight hair seems kind of oddly repelled from the other strands making it look poofy? I don't particularly like the look so a quick brushing gets rid of that issue) as my hair quickly flattens after a blowout.For people sensitive to smells it has a strong floral salon scent that lasts days. (Personally I think it smells like honeysuckle)While it doesn't completely do everything that's promised, it's the best conditioner I've ever used. I have tried Living Proof, Ouidad, and drug store brands and you have to use so much product to even coat each hair strand compared to this.

Wish I’d found it years ago

Don’t know that it adds any volume but it’s fantastic at cleaning and leaving hair soft. Sounds basic but it’s taken me YEARS and LOTS of money to get my hair to feel as good as it does with this shampoo and conditioner. I have thin, dry hair (from bleaching) and an oily scalp. My hair normally feels tacky (as if I’ve simply used water) after shampooing. I’ve tried numerous products, including cleansing shampoos and water filters on my shower head and this shampoo/conditioner is like a miracle to me.

amazing product!!

I absolutely love this product! I've seen stylist everywhere use and recommend this product. I can see why. for $30 the bottles are small and look underwhelming. But all you need is a quarter size amount your hair. I have very long hair and I'm able to easily get the job done no problem. at first it has a very feminine scent but I could see as the smell dissipates that it could be unisex as well. 10/10 totally recommend
