Amazing value option

I swapped out my 502, which is much more valuable mouse than this one, simply because I have large hands and I absolutely love how wide this Redragon 801 is due to how well it fits in my hands. Also, I actually like that the extra buttons are placed to where there in no way to accidently hit them.As for use, so long as you use the 1000mhz freequency mode, its very smooth and responsive. In this catagory, if the G502 is a 10, then this is a solid 9. Not quite as responsive, but very close. The battery life is enough for a 6-8 hour sessions, but i must say, if you intend to use this while wired, the included usb-c cable is far too stiff to use while gaming... In that case, you would absolutely need to use your own usb-c cable. Comfortable for large hands

Very comfortable design, with plenty of customizable buttons. The software is decent for what it is (when you manage to find it) and offers plenty of customization. The macro support is very good as well.Battery life may leave a bit to be desired, but it's plenty long to last the whole day without the RGB on. Just remember to plug it in at night! At the time of review, the website mentioned in the manual doesn't have the proper software. I found the correct software by googling "Redragon M801P Sniper Pro" and click the first link that appears (should be on Reddragon's USA website). There will be a driver download right above the purchase button.

Excellent Mouse, Great Price, Versatile

This mouse is the second mouse I ever owned with my gaming pc. And let me tell ya I'm cheap and spend like $20 on my first mouse. It did it's job, but eventually had to be promoted to not being used ever again. This mouse easily competes with the glorious mice at this price range. It has 3 thumb buttons and the program is very easy to use to rebind your uses for all of those thumb buttons and of course your DPI settings. Very handy especially if you play any FPS games. It fits like a glove for you hand... not too heavy, but may be on the slightly heavier side compared to honeycombed mice. And it has two modes you can use and switch between, however, that's on the bottom of the mouse so it's not a simple quick switch. It is RGB which can be turned off since ... MoreThis mouse is the second mouse I ever owned with my gaming pc. And it has two modes you can use and switch between, however, that's on the bottom of the mouse so it's not a simple quick switch. It is RGB which can be turned off since sometimes it is viewed as being a pro or a con, but now anyone can love it. If you like RGB it can be changed of course with the program and set to how you like it. If you don't like RGB, I guess you'll just have to settle for it being dark and depressing. One big thing for me is that, it can be wireless! It's a great mouse for a $40 price range, and now that it can be wireless. Sold. Mice are mice and most will do the job so having this one being so versatile for $40 doesn't seem so bad.The battery is surprisingly great, it lasts a couple of days for me without needing to be charged but I obviously try and charge it when I can/need to.Overall it works great with wireless or wired. The battery lasts for a good couple of days if you manage to play for that long without rest. It can have RGB on or off. It has a good program to customized ALL the key bindings/settings and DPI settings. It fits well on your hand and looks pretty good too. Fair price at $40.

Good mouse, if it were cheaper

PROS:Comes with a USB charger and an adaptor. Also has an Eco setting to reduce battery usage. Has a DPI meter and two different DPI buttons so you don't have to cycle through the DPI entirely if you accidentally push one of them. Feels very ergonomic, but my pinky finger just hangs off the edge a bit.CONS:Definitely feels cheap, the mouse is REALLY light and the program to control macros isn't that good. adaptor doesn't fit in its dedicated storage at the bottom of the mouse. USB charger is a cheap fabric cord that doesn't extend well.Overall, I'd say try to get this on sale, its a good mouse but the price point is way off

Great on Clearance but Pain to Customize for Mac User

I bought this mouse for gaming through Nvidia GeForce now using my MacBook pro. My Apple magic mouse did not have the right buttons. Overall, it is a great mouse. I love how it molds to my hand, and it's great how you can adjust the sensitivity right on the mouse with the buttons. The downside is that it's impossible to customize the mouse buttons using macOS. Luckily I was able to install a copy of Windows using VMware, and install the.exe file there so I could change the lighting and reprogram some of the extra buttons.I don't think I would have paid full price for this, but it was a great clearance option and I'm super happy. One other little note is that I have noticed the problem where the main mouse button will squeak occasionally. It's a little annoying.

I should have bought this one the first time

Had a different wireless mouse that wouldn't work right, so I traded it in for this one. This one works great, no shacking the mouse to get it to move the cursor anymore. This one just works everytime. The battery life is awesome even with the RGB lights on.

Rechargeable battery, RGB, Fair Price

I have been wanting a wireless mouse for a while and decided to go with the sniper pro. I thought it would use AA batteries because of the price point but was surprised when I got home it has a built in rechargeable battery. I'm not big on rgb but you can turn it to eco mode or select one color with the software. The mouse lasts 3 or 4 days before needing a charge. I was skeptical about the Redragon brand but the guy at the counter said it was microcenters house brand and figured I'd give it a shot. It's been about a month and its working great. The shape is nice and round and has a good hand feel and several buttons on the side. The dPI buttons located on top are very helpful and can be changed instantly on fly without messing around in the software. I have already recommended this mouse to my online friends and am very happy with its quality. At this price point you will have to buy a wired mouse with name brands. You will also have to factor in the cost of batteries or rechargeable batteries into the final price of the mouse so that adds $ 10 for batteries and 10 for charging station.

Redragon M801P Sniper Pro is Awesome!

This mouse is perfect! The smooth glide and precise pinpoint control is excellent. I also like the fact that I can use it wired or wireless. It fits perfect with it's wide body design for the comfort of my hand without that annoying cramping that some others cause. I can game all day without hand fatigue. The extra left click button is also ideal to use without wearing out the conventional left click button. I would recommend this Redragon M801P Sniper Pro mouse to anyone, including hard core gamers.Excellent!
