Reebok Work Duty Men's Rapid Response RB RB8678 6 Tactical Boot US

Just received and put on. I have a hard time putting some boots and shoes on due to bad hip. I going order another pair also, so easy to put on due to zipper. Only draw back is they still have to be somewhat laced up. Just going to wear with lace at there factory tightness and put a double knot on laces.

Comfortable shoes

I love these shoes. I've been wearing these shoes for over 10 years and they are so comfortable. They hug my feet just like I like them to. These shoes aren't for everyone but I do brag about them to my friends and family. And YES, I will be buying them again when time comes.

I Love These Boots!

These boots are the most comfortable I've worn. The 8" tall ones rubbed my ankles, but these 6" tall are perfect. I've bought three pairs so far in the extra wide. I do have feet problems and knee problems. These boots let me walk further and with less pain. I can fix them with the laces the first time and then use the side zip thereafter, which saves me having to bend over every time to lace them up. That is real life saver for my back and knees. I bought them a half size larger than my usual size, I'm not sure if I've been wearing my previous boots too small or my feet have grown.

Mostly happy in a sea of boots

The only thing I would change is more leather, a steel toe, or Goretex but for the price I like the cut and look and comfortable ness in these leatehr shoes. Leather is a little thin and plastic feeling but t hey're good for my motorcycle. For the price, with the zipper, and so on, a very good deal. I kinda gave up looking at the many styles. I wanted so much: a hiker, date night, function, look, leather, zipper, quality, price, loop, durability. Good enough for now. Earned business.

Nice boot!

Very nice boot! I had the Reebok Trailgrip prior to this boot but they were back ordered. The Rapid Response is a very comfortable boot but did take a couple shifts to break in. I will probably order the Trailgrip next time just out of preference but the Rapid Response will always be a back up in a pinch!! Definitely recommend!

Not the boot I was looking for

The side zip is about worthless, as it doesn't open the boot enough to slip them on or off. They built in a large pull loop in the back of the boot to pull them on, but that pull loop keeps catching my pant leg, which looks tacky. The boots are quite bulky.too. Comfort is acceptable, but they aren't professional and they aren't convenient. These will be spares when other boots are dirty or need to be polished.

Poorly designed and manufactured

Looked good in advertising pictures.. But.seem to be designed to be sold cheaply and that’s what they are.. Clumsy.. also. Side zips are useless if the boots are laced to the top.. Can’t get your feet in or out.. So , Poor fit and features that don’t work.

Side zipper.

I had modify the side zipper. I had to glue it closed because it was coming unzipped as I wore the boots which made it almost impossible to keep the ankle area snug which will keep the heel from rubbing a blister on your heel. I changed the laces to round thinner ones, and it will take a little time to get the padded tongue under control and flatter to make tying better. Wides are not very wide compared to other boots I have tried. But after all this they are lighter than other and should do fine after break-in time.

Very Comfortable!

My husband likes to walk in the woods and he loves these boots! They support his feet well and are very comfortable. Other boots he's worn need all sorts of inserts, but these don't. He is disabled and and can't walk too far and finds it hard to lace up boots, so the side zipper is another great feature. In fact, we have recommended these boots to two friends and they also enjoy them. The sizing seems right on. He got double wide and they fit perfectly.

sadly n not the same as the old Chucks

Still an overall excellent boot but not like my old chucks , size runs the same as the chucks so thats the same .The outsole and midsole are also the same so comfort and traction are consistent as the chucks .The obvious compromise is the the upper and the toe guard .the upper is thinner and way to pliable.Not sure how durable it will be .still supportive but is definitely a cheaper alternative to the old chucks. The biggest comprise to me has been the toe box . cheap ,cheap ,cheap . Its too bad profit gets in way of quality & performance our boys deserve every bit of protection they get at any cost. c`mon Reebok DONT TELL ME HOW GOOD YOUR ARE , SHOW ME . Like I said over all an excellent boot but cheapend by the name change . bummer. BTW i have a review of my old boot under the rb ct sz reviews. and again my old chucks were not a safety toe boot. just ended up there. hope this helps peace
