I love the Reef brand, I have been wearing them for many years. The Fanning line is great as well I have zero complaints with the shoe. However as I'm getting older I make mistakes, like when I made this order. I got the shoe I ordered no doubt, but not the shoe I was looking at. I was looking at the shoe that is mostly blue with the eagle on the bottom. I'm not really sure how I made the mistake but it happens and, as I'm turning 49 mid June it seems it happens more now than ever. I like the shoe and I'll wear what I have but it is not what I was after.Thank you,Trinity Willis

I bought the Fanning for my husband for his birthday. I originally ordered a size 12, however had to exchange for a size 11 as the 12 was too big. The exchange process was easy and the new size arrived within a week. The design is great for the upcoming 4th of July weekend. I would order these again or something g similar. Reef has always been a favourite brand in my household. Reef has great designs, my husband and son love the can open on the bottom, exchanges are easy and usually true to size. I will be making future purchases soon.

The first time I tried Reef was the Fanning at a shop at Fernandina Beach, FL. I was just buying to thank them for letting me use their restroom. ;) Until then, I didn’t know a sandal (flip flop) of this comfort level existed! Since then, I’ve bought multiple pairs. However, this time I bought a men’s shoe in a size to fit me because there usually aren’t enough Fannings available for women in my size (8). I recently purchased both blue and brown in men’s. These are my favorites!

While I usually enjoy REEF flip flops, I think these are incredibly uncomfortable. I first tried the new air sole type that’s supposed to be the most comfortable one, but they were too small. Then, after I was going to wait and try other brands, I decided to give them another shot with the Fannings. These are the ones ive typically owned, but even THESE were too small, and since I didn’t spend a certain amount, apparently I can’t return them. Incredibly disappointing. I won’t buy another pair unless I can try them on first. Not happy and yet another reason for me to avoid ads on social media.
My fourth pair of Reefs and I don't plan on changing anytime soon.The air cushion provides decent comfort and the toe area feels comfortable even when walking around for a few hours. The only reason I replace them: eventually, after a few years of nearly daily wear, the bottom layer separates from the foot bed. Not all at once, but it does break of in pieces, and eventually detaches.They may run a little small, as I normally wear a 12 and my toes are at the end of the toe box.
I'm a size 9 feels like I should of ordered a size bigger my foot just fits in them. When you walk they slap the bottom of your foot. Not as comfortable as my old pair of crocks. The crocks original are still my favorite after 5 years. These I throw on to walk to the beach(1/2 mile) or to get the mail. Don't wear them often do the the slapping, lack of comfort and fit. Sorry was a waste of money.
I have had 3 pairs of Fannings and each pair has fallen apart within 2 years. The last pair only lasted 16 months. The side straps pull out from the sole and cannot be reattached so I end up throwing them away. There doesn’t appear to be any stitching that holds the straps in place on the sides. Perhaps they’re glued? At least to me, $65 is a lot to spend on a pair of disposable flip flops considering I have had other brands costing half as much that I’ve worn for years. I may try other styles from Reef in the future but I will avoid the Fannings due to poor quality/design.
I've had these Reef flip flops over a year now. I'm retired and live in Florida, so I wear them about half the time. So, these have about 6 months of continuous use for me. That's probably years of use for most people. One reason I bought them is my old flip flops were dangerously slick on wet concrete. These have tread and are decently grippy. The tread is still good over about 90% of the sole. The soles are kind of thick and stiff at first, but they became very comfortable. No sign of failure yet. They have gotten a little thin near the toes. The bottle opener on the bottom is a gimick. If I ever go to a 1960s beach party, it might be handy.
I was a service member a long time ago. I deployed to the Middle East during the Gulf War and I started taking better care of my feet.I was teased by my friends about my feet back then. I might have carbon dated myself mentioning the Gulf War conflict in 1990~1991.Sadly, if we couldn’t take care of ourselves we couldn’t not complete our mission.My feet always felt so fatigued in my every day life. Every chance I get I am always taking off my shoes to just simply decompress.I bring my Reef everywhere I go in my carry all bags.I purchased several pairs 4 my lover, lol. Give these Mick Fanning sandals a go. You will not be disappointed. By several pairs also, and of course rotate them out.
I have had my old pair of these for many years. Used half a tube of Shoe Goo on them several times to glue the straps back into place. (requires peeling the layers apart to tuck the straps back in where they belong then gluing them back together.) Now, finally they are toast, but I found them to be such good flip flops that I went in and bought exactly the same thing. Fortunately, the label and logo were readable. They are very expensive in my value system. I'm old. The fact that I actually paid $63 for a pair of flip flops shows how good I think they are. They were a little tight at first and now breaking in. The old ones, were like old friends, of course and form fitted to my feet after years of wear.
