I was able to try a free Kombucha sample from the brand Remedy through PinchMe. Okay a majority of us know the Kombucha girl meme and I honestly had the same reaction. I have never had kombucha before this sample and I was sooo nervous. I got the lemon and ginger flavor and I was afraid the ginger was going to be overwhelming and that this was going to taste like all the other really bad “healthy” drinks. The smell is horrible. I've heard about it of course it's very popular. For me it was not my favorite. I could taste the ginger lemon but it's the yeasty kind of taste that I just couldn't get past. I was excited to receive this so I could try it cause I've heard so many great things about Kombucha tea. I really wanted to like this so bad. I received a complementary product from PinchMe for testing purposes. I've always loved kombucha but it's not always easy to find just the right one that tastes good and doesn't upset the stomach. This checks both. This definitely tastes so good straight out of the fridge. The ginger hit right away, and while I'd say it was stronger than the citrusy lemon, it wasn't too spicy to be enjoyable. The lemon was just tart enough to blend nicely with the ginger and it culminated in one very refreshing beverage. Usually I see this combination the most in my local grocery stores, but I'm intrigued by all the other flavors this company offers, especially the Cherry Plum. I would recommend this to anyone new to kombucha or veteran drinkers.
Remedy Kombucha which’s is naturally flavored with ginger and lemon. This yummy tasting kombucha drink came in a box from PiNCHme and Remedy in exchange for an honest opinion. I like the flavor of this kombucha. This drink really has both ginger and lemon flavor present without that vinegar undertone many kombucha drinks tend to have. The drink itself has a beautiful golden color with bubbles, that could pass for an expensive beverage at a holiday gathering if you didn’t want to over imbibe. I like the bright colors on the can and the smaller size of the can itself. If you are a kombucha fan, Remedy Ginger Lemon Kombucha is worth giving a try.
