I was able to try a free Kombucha sample from the brand Remedy through PinchMe. Okay a majority of us know the Kombucha girl meme and I honestly had the same reaction. I have never had kombucha before this sample and I was sooo nervous. I got the lemon and ginger flavor and I was afraid the ginger was going to be overwhelming and that this was going to taste like all the other really bad “healthy” drinks. The smell is horrible. It has a super strong vinegar scent. Actually tasting it wasn’t too bad. The ginger and lemon were balanced and it had a nice fizz like you would get with sparkling water or soda. I don’t know if I could finish a whole can by myself, but half a can was good enough for me. Also, even though it smelled like vinegar it did not taste like vinegar ... I received the REMEDY KOMBUCHA as a free sample from PINCHme. Prior to receiving this drink, I had never tasted Kombucha or knew what it was, so I didn’t know what to expect. To my surprise it was “fizzy” and “refreshing “. If I were to compare it to anything I’ve ever tried, I’d say it’s similar to a sparkling drink or seltzer, taste wise. It’s not really sweet because it’s zero sugar, so keep that in mind. I opted for the raspberry lemonade flavor which just tasted like carbonated, unsweetened raspberry lemonade. Overall, it’s a good tasting drink if you like unsweetened, carbonated drinks…and it’s also organic!

First time trying this product in any flavor. From the first taste, it was a surprise explosion of flavor. A perfect sharp burst of ginger immediate followed by the perfect amount of lemon that is instantly thirst quenching without being sour. Every mouthful was consistent flavor wise. I served it cold over ice in a chilled glass. I highly recommend this flavor for those who love a good punch of ginger or anyone looking for a great new drink. I'll absolutely purchase again and am adding more to cart while I'm here.

This Remedy Kombucha was a nice refreshing drink, and I enjoyed getting to sample it for free from PinchMe. The ginger lemon flavor tasted a lot like I thought it would, like other kombuchas I've tried. It's a little bit sharp and spicy with the ginger and no sugar added to it. I'm glad I got to try it as a sample but unfortunately I can't regularly consume caffeine so that is the only down side to a regular kombucha drink, although this one does not seem to say how much caffeine is in it but I would think it does contain caffeine due to the tea in it. I think the lemon raspberry flavor might be a little more approachable if you haven't tried kombucha before, but the lemon ginger flavor was good. Clean organic ingredients.
