I really enjoyed testing the Remington G5 graphite series. I was impressed with the looks and feel of the product to start of. I found the instructions easy to follow they also had a few handy tips for using the G5 graphite series, the bonus carry bag was a great little addition. Another great addition I thought was the USB charger cable as well as a standard DC charger. USB is very handy when traveling. The charge time felt quick and I loved the way it displays the status of the batteries charge expecaily the red light indicating low battery level. The attachment are all very useful and have a clever easy way to swap back and forth. I received the groomer. Nice packaging. Didn't look any different to any other out there. I took it out, lots of acessories. I thought 'well thats good'. I took out the groomer, ran my fingers over the blade, it was smooth, didn't feel sharp, I wondered how effective it would be. I usually have a long time between shaves, and use the bare razor to clip of most my beard. Well OMG I was blown away, not only was it quickly getting rid of my beard, but so so smooth. My regular groomer will leave a nick or 3, usually in the tight spots, my mustache area under my nose and bottom lip. This groomer - nothing. It over exceeded my expectations for this product. I immediately tossed my old one in the bin. I HAVE FOUND MY NEW GROOMNG KIT !!!

The Remington would not be useful for situations where you are not grooming daily. Once you start to get a lot of hair on your face it becomes cumbersome to shave. Very disappointed with the Remington unit. When I was growing up in the 70's, Remington was a great brand. Style & accessories are great, but really let down by poor battery performance. I had to basically have it plugged in to shave whereas my existing unit hadn't been charged in over a week & produced far superior cutting speed & cleanup. Change the battery to Lithium power & you probably will have a hit. Currently, with the existing battery, it is so far behind the competition, that you shouldn't really consider it except if your price is limited.

Nice design and love that you can charge with USB. Would be good to have a stand for it and accessories for bathroom bench like my old VS grooming kit. I have thick beard so the close shave attachment not great for me and the nose and ear trimmer needs to be at perfect angle for it to attempt to trim any hair. My previous VS groomer works great with ear and nose trimmer. The Remington G5 seems to lack the “oomfph” power of hair trimming. Otherwise nice design and kit.
The Remington G5 Kit upon first inspection appeared to be nothing but another shaver. But on opening the box had numerous shaving tools inside that could shave hair almost anywhere on a persons body. The battery lasts quite long and the entire shaver is water resistant allowing for shaving whenever and wherever. The shaver works brilliantly, doesn't stutter or struggle with thicker hair and shaves cleanly and nicely. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.
A fantastic looking product. Slim and easy to gripped. I loved being able to use it in the shower with no worries about the water breaking it. Good to trim, shave etc anything while wet. Would be good it it came with a strong tag or cable and fastening clip so you could keep it hanging on the wall in the shower. Unfortunately I didn’t love it as much on dry land. I found it lacked power. Not battery life, just ooomf. I like the precision it gave when trimming hair line around the ears. Very close and perfect. Would be good if it had a capture device for the hair you could use when not in the shower. Maybe a stand to keep it charge on the basin. It defiantly does help, as my current new Phillips Groomer doesn't cut as well. Any hair type or thickness cuts easily, and no matter where you use it on your body, it doesn't tug or pull out any hair.
