OMG this straightner is amazing. I love it so so much .literally took me 7 mins to straight my hair . The ceramic plate gave my hair so much shine without any product. The different heat settings are ideal from 180-230 degrees . The wide plates just glides on hair so smoothly. Obsessed is an understatement. Thank you influenster for sending me this amazing product. It’s going to make my life easy with straightening my hair . The bonus is temperature and plate lock so it’s extra secure plus the pouch to put hot tools in a must . Love it

I was so excited to test this hair straightener! The Remington Pro ceramic Extra Wide straightener has longer and wider plates that have been specially developed for people with long, thick hair to reduce straightening time. Beautiful white color, nice case - perfect for traveling, and the ability to adjust the temperature in the range of 150 - 230, depending on your hair. Ready in 15 seconds, I set the temperature to 150 and I can't believe how beautifully straight and shiny my hair was! I've used more expensive brands before, but this one is now my number one! I definitely recommend trying it!

These Remington straighteners are superb. They are wide plate and ideal for my long hair. It took next to no time to straighten my whole head with these. I like the ceramic coating. These heated up very quickly and I like how you can adjust the temperature between 150-220 degrees . It comes with a heat proof case that it slips in which is ideal for packing away or travelling with. Even though they are wide plate they are not super heavy. My hair was super smooth after using these and I didn’t get any flyaways or static after like I do with other well known straighteners.

Great simple straightener. Quick to heat up. Lightweight. Wide size plates allowing hair glide throughout without any pulling or breakage. This straightener offers different temperature options for all the hair types from 150 up to 230 degrees. Hinge lock comes handy when not in use to be stored safety into the pouch provided in the box. Cord its long and swivel for extra comfort instead twist and turn when using it. Hair it’s less fizzy and silky with no time.

Great hair straightener (totally worth the amount)

First day I got it, it worked really well. Kept my hair straight for a few days as I have semi thick but wavy hair. I love the fact that you can change the temperature and that it has a little case. My friend has extremely thick and curly hair and she asked if I could straighten her hair for her. It took about 35 minutes because we wanted it to actually stay but it was totally worth it. She had straight hair for days and had never actually been able to achieve that look even from the hair dressers.

I think this would be a great product if you are time poor and just quickly wanted to tame your hair a little. I honestly didn’t love the larger plates and found they don’t grip the hair as accurately. I don’t think it straightened my hair as nicely in comparison to smaller plates. But I did love it for a quick soft wave and would definitely use it again for that! I do like the adjustable temperature feature, this would be a great product if you were trying to reduce the amount of heat you use on your hair. I didn’t like that it doesn’t beep when it was ready to use, as I often get distracted doing other things and like that sound cue. To be honest I had low expectations because I viewed it as an entry level product (price and brand) however I was pleasantly surprised when I used it. It was super easy to use, great Instructions! Adjustable temperature is great for those with thin or super thick hair (mine is normal so I used it on default 190c). It took less than 20 seconds to heat up, it glided well on my hair without pulling it. The case, although seemed very cheap, proofed itself to be very useful at keeping it all neat in the drawer.Since getting it, I’ve used it every time I wash my hair, it’s super quick and easy to style my hair with it.

The colour & style of the Remington Straightening Iron is stunning & aesthetically pleasing. The iron straightens & curls beautifully. You can also achieve a really lovely result when taking larger sections of hair, great for those that have thick hair &/or are time poor. With my 20+ years as a hairdresser & working with a vast range of hot tools Remington has definitely become a top favourite & recommendation. The only down side to Remington hot tool is the short length of the cord which can be very frustrating when you need that extra give to get the back of your hair or doing someone else’s .

The Remington Pro Ceramic Extra Wide Plate Straightener was a game changer. I was so impressed with this straightener. The ultra coated plates left my hair smoother then ever and even at 150degrees the quality of the straightening was great. It lasted all day and felt softer then it usually does when using my other straightener. The only downfall for me is the cord length, it's quite a short cord. All in all I wanted to say wow this is a great affordable option I would recommend.

I was really pleased with this straightener, it is aesthetically quite nice, in an off white colour. The bag it came with holds it quite snuggly and has a handy velcro strap at the back, so you don't have to worry about wrapping the cord around the straightener itself. It heat up quite quickly and the heat seemed to distribute quite evenly along the plates. The wide plates cut down the time it takes to straighten my (quite long) hair considerably. It was easy to adjust the temperature to suit my hair (thicker and thinner hair could set it higher or lower)I will say, the sticker over the little screen with the temperature let a tiny bit of residue and when the straightener heated up it was quite sticky on my hands.
