PROS: This was a great deal! I paired this NVR with a couple of RLC811a cameras and it is fantastic! I'll be adding more Reolink camera's in the future. The 4k picture is clear especially during the day. Nigh time, is okay. CONS: Unfortunately, I learned too late that my refurbished NVR unit is model # RLN8-410-E (H3MB16). Why does this matter? Well, H3MB16 is Reolink's oldest model. Which means that if you want to upgrade the hard drive, you'll only be able to replace the internal HD to 4tb max, which isn't that bad, since you'll be able to add an external HD (4tb max) via the esata port for total of 8tb. Everything in the box was unopened and accounted for. It seems to work fine although the software shows 12 ports. This was definitely a good value

The NVR does what it is supposed to do. The reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the instructions are basic for installation. It doesn't give you instructions on setting up the unit with what the options for the settings mean. Some of it is intuitive, while other settings need clarification. I do recommend it based on the cameras I bought from Reolink are very good.
I had Vivint security cameras and they sucked. I replaced them with these and they are far superior. I just had them installed and I'm learning the system but it seems fairly easy to understand. This a 2 terrabyte box, the Vivint Space Monkey is a fraction of this. The SpaceMonkey occupies space.
Works like a charm, great easy to use interface with great features. Nice and quite, excellent video quality just does everything you expect efficiently. Compared to other surveillance systems this is great value.
Its has a few quirks but overall Im very impressed. Biggest problem I have has to do with the motion algorithms they use. Impossible to get enough sensitivity without a bunch of false alarms. Could be my settings but Ive tried a bunch of things. Instructions are meek, so if youre not a good problem solver you might get frustrated.
Product as advertised. Additional IVR purchased where I find this product works very well my clients.
